This would be similar to when we went to UConn and played there. Rutgers/UConn do not like BC at all. Read that flyer/article. We are such the bad guy in the eyes of Rutgers and UConn that apparently we jumped to the ACC first and took Miami and VTech with us. Reverse that.

As much as the prospect doesn't interest me, I'd much rather go back to Orlando in September to play UCF.Brianhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15511919115372205489noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9512562.post-34437092220933266702008-01-09T09:51:00.000-05:002008-01-09T09:51:00.000-05:00Come on, you know, tragically, that a BC-Rutgers g...Come on, you know, tragically, that a BC-Rutgers game in the Meadowlands would probably pull a decent crowd...DLhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01054385029493450807noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9512562.post-51472478013455411572008-01-08T22:29:00.000-05:002008-01-08T22:29:00.000-05:00New York would be best. With all the talk about BC playing Rutgers this fall, why not put the game in Giants stadium?

Washington, D.C. might be another option.BCDoubleEaglehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03860756154632438516noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9512562.post-21109068894280229132008-01-08T22:02:00.000-05:002008-01-08T22:02:00.000-05:00Hello Double Eagle:I'm pretty fed up with the bowl...Hello Double Eagle:

I'm pretty fed up with the bowl system - as you are. I'd rather have a system with no conference affiliations perhaps.

I like the idea of these regional games, but don't know if we could ever pull one off. Florida State-Alabama filled the stadium in Jacksonsville. Clemson-Alabama will fill the Georgia Dome.

Wouldn't a regional game involving BC have to be in New York? If so, who would we play? Notre Dame comes to mind quickly; Penn State - or another Big Ten Team? USC is coming onto our schedule in the future, but that wouldn't meet the definition. I'd love to see us play an SEC Team like Alabama or Tennessee - also Georgia.

It would only work if the organizers could fill the stadium - half or 3/4 full doesn't work in my opinion.Big Jack Krackhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12202172743722727956noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9512562.post-74002635038606883362008-01-08T21:27:00.000-05:002008-01-08T21:27:00.000-05:00I think Alabama's off the table because they just ...I think Alabama's off the table because they just signed a deal with Clemson: http://www.tidesports.com/article/20080104/NEWS/5657961/1011

Note that our friends at the Chick-Fil-A Bowl are organizing the 'Bama/Clemson game.

This raises an interesting point, though.
