I prefer a pro-style QB, a good o-line and A running back.

Since we have ZERO on the o-line and ZERO in the back field Addazio better start flipping people over to us from those positions. The league was worried about Penn. St. leaving for an east coast conference.( ACC).Thus Rutgers and Maryland. The Big 10 payout per team was $24 mil last year. S.I. projected a payout of over $40 mil five years hence. Assume that figure is accurate( although it may be somewhat high) PSU would have little incentive to leave the BIG 10 for the ACC. The financial hit would be too steep. However if the ACC implemented an unequal distribution scheme PSU could be enticed. 2. The Big 10 is generating much of it's revenue from their own cable network. Were the ACC to add PSU, a cable network and ND as a full member it's income may exceed the Big 10. ND and PSU would have to be paid a higher share of the revenue but the end result might be a stronger, more stable conference with increased funds for all. Who would complain if ND and PSU took out $45-50 mil yearly if everyone else got over $30 mil. 3. For the Big 10 to pay each of the 14 programs over $40 mil annually it will have to generate nearly $600 mil. Could an expanded ACC get to that number? Presently ESPN pays about $250 mil for all of it's broadcasting rights. If those rights went north of $300 mil and a cable network ( maybe in association with the Pac 12 network) could produce an extra $100 mil your total would be $400 mil for the regular season. Post season b-ball and football money would be in the $160 to $200 mil area. All could benefit from this approach. BC's margin of error is too slight to not have a solid kicking game. Could easily envision losing a few games due to missed fgs.

Also, Dazz's favorite excuse at Temple was the "transition" from pro-QB style to "dual threat" AAhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00108034678167526764noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9512562.post-85350157078829370532012-12-10T09:46:10.864-05:002012-12-10T09:46:10.864-05:00given that we have Freese for another year, the Ki...given that we have Freese for another year, the Kicker de-committing is probably a good thing. i'd rather have an extra schollie to use on a skill position or another position of need like the Lines instead of redshirting a backup kicker.EL MIZhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12042895353703675136noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9512562.post-44306932283779259522012-12-10T08:30:39.797-05:002012-12-10T08:30:39.797-05:00Thanks for pumping out the updates lately Bill. Thanks for pumping out the updates lately Bill.Andrew S.https://www.blogger.com/profile/15449978589290715563noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9512562.post-80487283268810726722012-12-10T07:17:13.203-05:002012-12-10T07:17:13.203-05:00I guess change is inevitable, but I love the pro-s...I guess change is inevitable, but I love the pro-style QB tradition we have.blisthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17738621049003351937noreply@blogger.com
