In the end, it's not the ranking of the recruiting classes that matters. It's the ranking of the teams at the end of the season.bceagle91https://www.blogger.com/profile/00982786161321083825noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9512562.post-29890484042973528642018-06-08T20:12:42.672-04:002018-06-08T20:12:42.672-04:00Completely agree with what NYCEagle said. Early in the recruiting cycle the number of recruits plays a much bigger part in a class ranking than the quality. BC’s 247 composite average for this class is only slightly higher than last years, which when all the dust settled was ranked 69th nationally. Yes, that means lower than some non power 5 programs. ATL is correct to point out that a lot of these kids do have other power 5 offers, which is truly the best way to judge the merit of a high school prospect. However, it is unlikely we will secure the commitment of even 1 four star recruit this cycle. Which, after the potential we showed last year, along with the new IPF, is disheartening NYCEaglehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07120770209058274731noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9512562.post-4642401267101290122018-06-08T12:25:30.775-04:002018-06-08T12:25:30.775-04:00ATL tends to rave about daz's recruiting. The Dazzler goes into the season with everyone behind him. Let's see what happens.I would bet on Dillon to win the Belmont and stop the Triple Crown.---- Daz has been given one "honeymoon" after another. This is the last stop on the train. The projected 5.5 wins is just not acceptable. If they get quarterback play from a recovering Brown or McDonald shows his potential, there is a 9 win season in the offing. There have to be more receivers than just White and then hand the ball to Dillon. Let's pray that Daz finally picks up the pieces.JBQhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09344181644293746758noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9512562.post-62195500481765699052018-06-08T11:43:11.463-04:002018-06-08T11:43:11.463-04:00The national recruiting gurus ranked BC last in th...The national recruiting gurus ranked BC last in the ACC last year.
