The football team is right in the middle of their bowl prep. That means there is a certain level of drudgery. But Addazio seems pretty confident and remains on schedule. The team has started working in schemes and Iowa specific preparation. The coach took a few minutes to address the media about the bowl and some other season ending topics below.

ReplyDeleteSpeaking of Bowl prep - I have been sort of following the IPF on the webcams (I also drove by when I was in Boston in October.
ReplyDelete1. Although it (the frame) looked pretty big driving by, in actuality it looks kind of small. For instance, it doesn't look large enough for punting and maybe even kicking off.
2.the IPF jumps out as the very first thing you see coming around the reservoir on Beacon St. It will now be the first impression of the campus for those driving by.
Just wondering if the exterior will have brick like the stadium and/or any of the other buildings on campus.

ReplyDeleteJohn, there are brick walls on the IPF. I see it from Beacon Street. It does go well with the stadium. The roof is going on as well. Shea Field is certainly undergoing a transformation.
