BC celebrates its athletes

One of the advantages of being a student athlete at BC is that you can keep a relatively low profile (on or off campus). Many students are clueless when it comes to our players. That anonymity is nice most of the time. However, our athletes do deserve some celebration and acknowledgement. That's where the Golden Eagles comes into the picture.

BC held an awards show for all sports and gave away awards across sports for academic and athletic excellence. Based on social media, it seems like the night was a success. Hopefully the players enjoyed it and this becomes an annual tradition.

    The funniest moment was when Addazio announced Jerome won Male MVP he said that Jerome couldn't be there because he was preparing for the draft. JC Reyes goes up on stage to "accept" the award and Addazio goes "Jerome! Your here! I got some faulty intel. I didn't think you were so tall." He had no idea and the whole room erupted laughing.

    Mod really really wanted it to be called the Golden Shower Awards. So he recall the best tinkle he ever wished he received from a BC football coach. Of course Ryan Day would be projected through out the auditorium while Mod gleefully accepted the award and told Dazzler he couldn't have done it without him.
