It was nice to get someone from your side’s take on Wake’s recent success and upcoming season. <BR/><BR/>I know I am a little biased, but I think the Refs had a little more to do with Wake’s W last year than their loss in ’05. If you recall in ’05, BC’s comeback began when Sophomore QB Matt Ryan replaced starter Quentin Porter. Ryan promptly went 7-9, 134 yds, 2TD in the closing minutes. As far as last year goes, the refs overturning the Wake fumble was main the difference in the game. That being said, BC made too many costly mistakes (80 yds in penalties) and deserved to lose.<BR/><BR/>Grobe is one of the better coaches in the ACC and I believe last year was no fluke.
