In all honesty, I feel with the way Jags has the team playing right now, they could run with any of the teams 7 and lower (higher), including the likes of OSU, Penn St. and obviously the Gamecocks (all are flawed teams).

Interesting that BC poorly respected in the aggregated blog poll, even in relation to the AP/USA Today. Perhaps an influx of provincial voters?Eagle in Brightonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02387603168328339403noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9512562.post-19138580504925431482007-09-18T08:32:00.000-04:002007-09-18T08:32:00.000-04:00This is probably the "SEC is the strongest confere...This is probably the "SEC is the strongest conference in the country" bias. I agree that SC hasn't beaten anyone aside from Georgia, but a lot of teams on the board haven't beaten anyone at all.

Hawaii doesn't play anyone until Boise State the second to last game of the season, and needed OT to get past La Tech.

Oregon beats Fresno St, Michigan and Houston and is ranked above BC in the AP. Michigan would be a good win any other year, but I think ND is just really, really bad which made Michigan look solid last week. BC 7 spots above Oregon sounds more right to me.Brianhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15511919115372205489noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9512562.post-46344667045416269672007-09-17T18:55:00.000-04:002007-09-17T18:55:00.000-04:00Maybe it's just me, but I don't understand all the...Maybe it's just me, but I don't understand all the love for South Carolina.

Who have they beaten? A close game vs. Georgia--true, but past that there's SC State and some other D2 also ran.

For South Carolina's win over Georgia to mean anything--Georgia's got to mean something. What have they shown to make you believe they're a top team? Answer? Nada.

Not saying Georgia or South Carolina can't BE great teams or SHOW ME later in the season that they're worthy---but right now I've got issues with the South Carolina love-fest. Let's just remember that AIR FORCE beat South Carolina State more handedly than the Gamecocks did.BCMikehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04259278849389650910noreply@blogger.com
