For 3 weeks, BC led the ACC at 1-0, and had the best win in the country in many eyes.
2) Many different approaches, and most that have BC in are of the mind set "if the season ended today." Unfortunately for us, it does not. The efficiency models have us more as a 7 win ACC team, which means that road win at UVA would have been enormous, as it would have provided a second "A" win, which would negate our crap NCSoS.
3) My Basic Rating has us around 62.5 (ranked 78th), which to put that in perspective, is one spot ahead of Vermont, one spot behind Northern Kentucky. Neither are real at-large considerations unless they run the table. Our opponent tonight is at 74.4 (27th). I get that W-L will matter, but we don't pass the computer test. Tonight is another important game toward shaping the case, but this is a game that the system should EXPECT us to win, much the way Syracuse, a fringy bubble team, handled VATech.
4) All in all, the profile is ~60th, and we really need to be Top 45.

We are a 5.5 point dog @ home, and some would say that line is a little low.Deacon Drakehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17827411603052143857noreply@blogger.com
