ReplyDeletePutting Dudley back in the game with 2 min left in the half was beyond dumb. I mean, beyond dumb. I think Bobby Knight immediately started to laugh. I cannot believe how dumb that was. I'm stunned. That could be the difference in the game. Nice work Al.

ReplyDeleteThe Dudley thing was bad, but that is on Jared. He has got to know to back off and not flop. Overall not a bad half all things considered.
ReplyDeleteBC was winning without him on the court. Under no circumstances can you trot him back on in the first half for fear of getting that third foul. The Ladies' Pal is having one awesome game coaching.
ReplyDeletei can't believe skinner kept roche in the game as long as he did. he doesn't nothing that oates doesn't do and with blair on the court our defense improves tremendously. skinner is killing me.

ReplyDeleteImpressive win. I'll give Al credit for having his team ready to play today and not spotting TT a 10 point lead in the first 5 minutes. It's a wonder what the team can do without trying to climb out of a hole the entire game.
ReplyDeleteVery nice win, they really executed well on offense. Big contributions from Oates and especially Marshall. Very encouraging. Tighten up the D and we have at least a fighter's chance against G'Town.
ReplyDeleteRe: Dudley at the end of the half. We were playing fine without him; and he can't guard Zino straight up. Why take him out with 8 left and put him back with 2 left? Especially with Rice on the bench, so the team is without their director.
Anway, moot point, and beautiful win.
Can anyone rember the last time Marshall, Rice and Dudley all had big games? Makes us tough to handle. Still, it would be nice to see the interior guys catch passed and finish a little more often. TT played well. We played better.
ReplyDeletei think Dudley actually plays BETTER offensively with three fouls. he concentrated a little more on making a shot and a little less on getting contact, flailing and flopping. The refs called a great game and didn't buy into the acting either way. Once we figured that out, we won because we were a better team. Nice win & good contributions from several guys.
