ReplyDeleteIf anything, we learned last week that the identity of this offense is to run to set-up the pass. I'm a little perplexed by the play-calling so far.

ReplyDeleteDavis is basically just handing the ball off, but I was impressed with the last touchdown drive. He seems more poised in the pocket and definitely more accurate with his passing than Crane. I also loved how the freshman ran the 2 minute offense. Very, very good clock management. Keep in mind, this is URI and their defense is not going to apply the pressure an ACC defense will, but it might be worth giving Davis a chance in ACC play.
