i want us to win, but getting blown out might be better.otherwise we are stuck with spaz and running off tackle every play. i feel bad for the team, it must be so disappointing in the huddle when you just run the same plays over and over.
great blitzing so far. divitto and asprilla both get sacks. NICE! nice to see some pressure and some new looks. defense looks great, we just have to mix it up on offense. COME ON!
complete and utter offensive ineptitude continues. what is the excuse this week?
by the way, while the coaching staff hardly puts him in the right place to succeed, at what point do we start to question whether rettig is "the guy"? he always seems to be complaining, didn't dive on the fumble, is jittery in the pocket, isn't accurate...maybe we don't use suntrup this year b/c we save his redshirt and whats the point, but come spring time i think QB is back to open try-out season.
i don't understand why everyone was so high on rettig anyway. he was an average recruit, but because tenn offered people thought he was brady. a scholarship offer doesn't mean anything. he does have a good arm, but to be fair he doesn't have alot of time. he is avg at best,
rettig may not have a lot of time but how about adjusting and getting the ball out quicker. he hasn't had more than a "three-one-thousand" all season and yet he takes like 5 step drops and is usually going through his progressions when sacked. why doesn't he realize he needs to get the ball out almost immediately?
he also misses WRs and his general demeanor just seems questionable to me. did not matty ice or even guys like paul peterson or chris crane act like rettig does -- he always seems to be like shrugging his shoulders and bitching. also didn't dive on a fumble right in front of him come on dude you're on national TV protect your end zone.
does anyone else see this "non-leader" demeanor or is it just me?
students should protest outside of the ad's office. the ineptitude of these coaches is unbelievable. all it takes is 5 guys and a sign. the media will pick it up and they can run with it. i don't expect to win the acc every year. just be a top half team in the conference. at least show some effort on the coaches part.
spiffy shows good burst on the returns. why is he never in on offense?
why don't we put in some wildcat with amidon or swigert (who played QB in HS) and use evans as a WR? our offense stinks and we keep trying the same thing.
i see signs about praying every week in college football. from wisconsin to oregon to kansas. i hope we lose 45-0, only way to end this nightmare of a staff. it's better for the long run. at this rate we are heading to syracuse territory.
i will say this: kuechly will go down as one of my favorite BC players of all-time. plays hard every week, never takes a play off, tries to get his team going. love everything he brings to the table. a shame his career at BC held back by horrible horrible offense/coaching.
how about when bc made up t-shirts about the 1993 nd game. that said "hey lou, next time light two." in reference to the grotto at nd. is that anti-catholic, or do we get away with that. so if a sign is made about praying directed at baylor, is that anti-baptist. it is a harmless sign. if the sign said something about molestation, then that i will give you the anti-catholic bit.
I hate to see us get blown out, (since we have 1 yard in total offense in the 1st quarter), but what's worse is listening to these arrogant ESPN dudes talk smack against BC. That little Florida punk who can't shutup and always lays out ten stats per second just gets me in a non-frosty place.
Look, we need a QB who has mad skills and huevos to match. Bring in an unknown without a prayer and let it ride--this is a Vegas Gamenight for the wild ones--Spaz has no plan, and McGovern can only keep this FSU under fifty for so long. Let's toss some bones and take some chances.
the commenters are just shocked and pissed at how bad the offense play calling is. it is not any fun for them, they have nothing to comment on. all they can say is, this is bad play calling and talk up fsu.
we don't have any speed at any skill position really. we usually don't but we always had good lines on both sides, we don't have that either now. the tob regime and spaz reward loyalty. loyalty is good in life, but not to win in football. if you question them or their processes, you are in the dog house. thus all the players we lost in the last 2 years. they play yes men and not the best players. any player from the matt ryan days will tell you ryan was the best qb on the team, PERIOD, from his soph year on. they didn't play him. it took them a while to warm up to petersen. maybe if fsu scores in the 50's spaz will be gone.
I hate this game--Keuchly recovers the fumble and we get a bad call from the booth and then they give the TD away on another spiked fumble? Suckalanimus Rex...
This BC team has heart, man. It's too bad we're going to have to watch this escalate into a massacre...
He started the last game of his freshman year against Syracuse(lost a huge game) and then played all three years after that. Quinton porter was three year starter in front of him when he was a freshman.
why should i be banned. because the catholic church let children get raped and molested and did nothing. thank goodness bc has dialogue on this subject, as the jesuits are always moving forward. of course the vatican was angry at bc. i know people who experienced this from members of the church and are messed up by it. they are scum. i don't care if they are men of god, they are criminals and should be dealt with accordingly. this isn't the forum for this subject. but if you can't acknowledge this is a major problem in the church, i feel sorry for you. just put your head in the sand and pray i guess. what you call for spaz to be fired but you are an apologist for a church which covers up rape. read the most recent report by the irish govt. that is the most catholic, pious country in the western world and they have had enough too. this isn't 1950, anti-catholicism is but a blip on the radar these days if at all. i am guessing by your comments you are 50 or older. i am only talking about football from now on.
matt ryan did not start is sophomore year. by the way i just realized you are a recent grad, sorry. ok, i won't use "we", i mean BC. on this forum i thought it was appropriate as we are all bc fans.
"been a little bit mysterious his departure" -- WOW the spaz/gene D cover-up of rogers leaving the program being exposed by rece davis on ESPN. awesome.
if nothing else, this embarassing game will be the final nail in spaz's short lived head coaching career.
People--let's watch the game. All the other jive is not what's happening here. Our guys on the field are getting clocked and fighting it out pretty damn well--they need some coaching and some crazy play from an unknown. The Rettig deal isn't working.
(And it's not Craig James who steams me, it's that little jackass ex-QB dude that can't stop being an FSU cheerleader. It's been his M.O. for years.)
yeah i don't know about bc football, says the guy who thinks matt ryan started for 3 seasons. go to wiki, look it up. you sound like an idiot. let's make fun of kids with a sign about praying. so the signs aimed at tebow about praying, those are those anti-catholic or anti-christian. are detroit lions players anti-christian for tebowing. let's stay on the subject and quit attacking me. i just said your anti-catholic comment is stupid.
geesh, some of you people harbor alot of hate. i graduated from BC, I can say whatever I want about it and I haven't said anything bad. I can also tell you I give 10x more to the school than anyone on this board. So don't attack me. I went to BC and now you call me anti-catholic, what a joke you people are. I guess because I don't wear a flag pin on my lapel I am anti-american as well. I was talking about football the whole game and you start crying about a sign some kids made. there are bigger problems in the world. by the way, any apologies for saying matt ryan started a game his freshman year, just keep on talking so i can refute every comment you make. how many links do you want for the other praying signs, 1, 2, 3, let me know so i can send you those too. remember in this world everyone is entitled to an opinion, even if it isn't yours.
we should just set this game to some clown music. again, at this point let's hope we don't score at all and get blown out bad. the game plan at the beginning of the game was just sad and it just won't change. spaz and company are too stubborn. "we have to tackle them and we will be ok," lol
All this talk about what was can change now. If these coaches realize what they have in Josh Bordner we can do something great tonight--but the Defense has to step up too. Yeah, we blew it with the fumble, but this guy can play and he has heart and toughness and that's been lacking in the saddle at BC for awhile. He's a big guy who hurts the FSU tacklers, and they got no game plan for him.
Man, this could get really interesting in the 2nd half if Spaz walks the walk... Go Eagles!
then don't attack me, i said one comment was stupid and you still haven't stopped. this from the guy who thinks ryan started the cuse game his freshman year. what is wrong about the molestation comment, if they had a sign about that, that would be horrible. how is that a bad comment. uconn students years ago had a molestation chant at bc students, it was horrible and classless. all i was stating is that if they had a sign like that it would be wrong. i am sorry a sign about praying some kids made is not wrong. again, any acknowledgement of your lack of bc football knowledge by the ryan comment. i am not talking about myself, i just had to shut your negative attacks up. if i help bc more than you do or ever will, how is that wrong. just don't attack people for silly reasons when you know nothing about them.
don't be mad at your life mod, again how am i a dick. i expressed one comment, you don't agree, let's move on. just don't attack people for their own thoughts, even if you agree or not. i didn't start this war you want to wage on here. although i feel if this was a good game we wouldn't of had any of this discussion. also, if i wasn't so bored to night with a bit of a cold i wouldn't even be on here, but your comments against me or so priceless that i continue.
The Spaz half time interview did not throw anyone under the bus. That is good. Playing Bordner was good. With no Oline you gotta do something different. Progress in an unwinable situation.
i just want you to take back the comment i know nothing about bc football, the fact you backed up by claiming ryan played his freshman year. you opened the box, now close it. i don't need to have the last word, you said i was wrong about ryan, when the fact is you were wrong. but you can't admit it. i like extra peas in my chicken pies.
Harrow, I'm a longtime (since 1970) BC alum and fan, and a very kind and patient new grandma. You may be a good and generous person but you are even annoying me; please stop.
big jack krack is probably one of the most knowledgable people on this board, especially with bc football history. i think all of his comments are spot on. big jack, you need to form a nice group of alumni your age and write some letters, stop giving to flynn fund, etc. the old grads like you hold alot of weight, at least they used too. unfortunately, i know alot of boosters at bc who give alot of money and like our AD and think he is doing a great job. until we get some heat on him for a change with spaz, it might just be pointless to think a change will happen.
i feel i have turned into bravesbill for the evening, lol. looking back on it though, everything he has said the last 3 years was right. i think alot of us were just hoping we would keep on winning.
ok i am off for a while, i feel bad now for arguing with other fans. wow, we threw the ball there. are we making adjustments? that would be incredible.
It's a TD. It's a score...but where's my man, Bordner? Will DSpaz use him as a sidewinder missile later?
Told y'all that this would get interesting...but The D must have another takeaway and continue to mess up the FSU dream...we can do this, (especially if Jesse Palmer is struck by lightning and we don't have top listen to his BS stat talk, while he recovers at Mass Gen'l, of course.)
To Harrow on this night... Wag More, Bark Less... Be Here Now... and remember, Zeno the Stoic from your BC Philosophy classes circa 1970-- "Nothing is certain--not even that." Always Believe in BC...
Check out ATL's twitter feed. Former player Matt Tennant is calling out Spaz and is saying a change is needed. This can only help. Defense looks good again.
DE makes the INT because the freshman nose guard is a one man wrecking crew; Throw to the FB; diddle around a little bit and then pick up the first down - and score easily.
BC playbook is, what, like 3 pages? aren't we supposed to be smart? our scheme is so vanilla its embarassing.
no bowl in 2011.
spaz has got to go.
also, i'd like to see bordner start next week against NC state. i think he's shown enough moxie this game, and he's at least commanding the huddle and getting his team excited. rettig is a baby and played like a fraidy cat.
Why are they punting? You should be fired for that right there. Even if we don't get it, FSU is just going to run it up the middle 3 times in a row. Spaz is so embarassing, thank goodness Tennant called him out on twitter. Maybe some other former players will jump on board. If spaz doesn't resign at the end of this year, he isn't the great person everyone says he is.
If anyone out there thought this team and these coaches were going to a bowl game after Northwestern...and after all the subsequent BC miscues and boneheaded moves on every side of the ball--I suggest y'all take up tennis as a substitute for football...
These kids are good, but they are not prepped to play against serious coaches with serious intentions...
Hats off to our guys who never quit even when they knew they didn't have a prayer...
I was hoping for BC colors tonight - maroon and gold - no luck. The solid uniforms will have to grow on me.
ReplyDeleteGo BC
Go BC. God help us, literally.
ReplyDeleteRRPP
ReplyDeleteAny word on KPL or Andre - are they available?
ReplyDeleteWow - good D
love the intensity so far.
ReplyDeletekuechly, duggan, divitto. no KPL tonight but man, we have some good LBs.
liked how thompson got in greg reid's face. LETS PLAY BALL!
Past couple of games it looks like the defense might be returning to form.
ReplyDeleteBJK - At least the unis are better than Marylands....
ReplyDeleteso do we run twice here and pass for 5 yds on 3rd down, if so this is a joke
ReplyDeleteif we are going to run, why don't we use a fullback?
ReplyDeletedan williams was crushing ppl earlier this year, what happened to him?
there you go 2 runs up the middle. even though i like deuce, now we know why he didn't play before. we are a joke.
ReplyDeletethis offensive strategy is perplexing. they know we are going to run. running out of the shotgun is not going to fool them.
ReplyDeletewhy not go with the fullback and run it down their throats instead of trying to play like some sort of finesse team.
Who would sub in for Finch?
ReplyDeleteI wish Rettig dove on that fumble.
ReplyDeleteHold em here and it's huge.
hard to fault finch when he's being used in single set backs and they know we are going to run.
ReplyDeletei want us to win, but getting blown out might be better.otherwise we are stuck with spaz and running off tackle every play. i feel bad for the team, it must be so disappointing in the huddle when you just run the same plays over and over.
ReplyDeleteOh Boy _ I'm going to get off the computer for awhile.
ReplyDeleteGreat points and questions El Miz. The average fan with no playing experience can coach better than these bozos.
Use the fullback - do something!!!!!
FSU is laughing at you, Spaziani.
No wonder there are so many empty seats.
what great play calling. this is a joke. this entire staff needs to be fired tomorrow. they know every play we are going to run
ReplyDeleteat least the defense is fun to watch today.
ReplyDeletegreat blitzing so far. divitto and asprilla both get sacks. NICE! nice to see some pressure and some new looks. defense looks great, we just have to mix it up on offense. COME ON!
ReplyDeleteDefense is playing some inspired football. 2 sacks!
ReplyDeleteOffense, not so much
ReplyDeleteanother run up the middle. do we do it again here or a 10 yd pass short of the first down marker
ReplyDeletefantastic play calling. run some screens, quick slants, quick outs. this is hilarious.
ReplyDeletecomplete and utter offensive ineptitude continues. what is the excuse this week?
ReplyDeleteby the way, while the coaching staff hardly puts him in the right place to succeed, at what point do we start to question whether rettig is "the guy"? he always seems to be complaining, didn't dive on the fumble, is jittery in the pocket, isn't accurate...maybe we don't use suntrup this year b/c we save his redshirt and whats the point, but come spring time i think QB is back to open try-out season.
Time for Uncle Dave, I think. He's old enough to shake off the play - let the players call their own.
ReplyDeleteLet's run Deuce up the middle on 2nd and 20. And also on 3rd and 20.
Our OL stinks - slow and not tough.
Fire these bums - the coaches..
FIRE THESE COACHES.
if they score a td on this drive, game is over. we had what 5 yds of offense in the first half.
ReplyDeletei don't understand why everyone was so high on rettig anyway. he was an average recruit, but because tenn offered people thought he was brady. a scholarship offer doesn't mean anything. he does have a good arm, but to be fair he doesn't have alot of time. he is avg at best,
ReplyDeleteAnyone see the Eagles Start Praying sign from FSU fans.
ReplyDeleteThere isn't much more anti-catholic under current than that.
Bible belt hypocrites
how is that anti-catholic? that is a stupid comment.
ReplyDeleteOnly the second quarter and the maroon towels are getting thrown onto the field.
ReplyDeleteI love Boston College. Greatest place on earth.
This comment has been removed by the author.
ReplyDeleteThey know that the school is Jesuit/Catholic affiliated. Are you aware of that? Therefore the praying comment is a wise-ass crack on Boston College
ReplyDeleterettig may not have a lot of time but how about adjusting and getting the ball out quicker. he hasn't had more than a "three-one-thousand" all season and yet he takes like 5 step drops and is usually going through his progressions when sacked. why doesn't he realize he needs to get the ball out almost immediately?
ReplyDeletehe also misses WRs and his general demeanor just seems questionable to me. did not matty ice or even guys like paul peterson or chris crane act like rettig does -- he always seems to be like shrugging his shoulders and bitching. also didn't dive on a fumble right in front of him come on dude you're on national TV protect your end zone.
does anyone else see this "non-leader" demeanor or is it just me?

ReplyDeletewhy don't we put in some wildcat with amidon or swigert (who played QB in HS) and use evans as a WR? our offense stinks and we keep trying the same thing.
rettig running scared.
ReplyDeleteseriously, put in shinskie. rettig stinks.
i see signs about praying every week in college football. from wisconsin to oregon to kansas. i hope we lose 45-0, only way to end this nightmare of a staff. it's better for the long run. at this rate we are heading to syracuse territory.
ReplyDeleteput up a link of one. I haven't seen one.
ReplyDeletei will say this: kuechly will go down as one of my favorite BC players of all-time. plays hard every week, never takes a play off, tries to get his team going. love everything he brings to the table. a shame his career at BC held back by horrible horrible offense/coaching.

The offensive coaching is not really the problem. It is the recruiting. They don't have any good offensive players.
ReplyDeletefsu can use this as live practice for their offense now. i wish the whole stadium would not return at halftime to show their disdain.
ReplyDeletethat is a fumble.
ReplyDeletegive us the ball back.
ReplyDeletethe commenters are just shocked and pissed at how bad the offense play calling is. it is not any fun for them, they have nothing to comment on. all they can say is, this is bad play calling and talk up fsu.
ReplyDeleteSorry that is a Catholic school ragging on another Catholic school. Don't see the logic.
ReplyDeleteWhere is the Baylor sign? I didn't see it. You post it up?
I did see the sign against the eagles today. So i know that one is real.
You called my original comment stupid. The molestation comment is ridiculous and you should be blocked from this site. Tool.
Prediction if FSU scores here.
ReplyDeleteThe fans will leave at halftime to enjoy some tailgating before getting thrown off campus by the cops.
The stadium will be empty.
Oh Boy - here we go.
Let's run Deuce up the middle on the first play after kickoff, down 21 to 0.
The fans won't even wait until halftime.
can we talk about how much spaz sucks and not how 4 little kids with signs about praying is offensive? give me a break.
ReplyDeletewe don't have any speed at any skill position really. we usually don't but we always had good lines on both sides, we don't have that either now. the tob regime and spaz reward loyalty. loyalty is good in life, but not to win in football. if you question them or their processes, you are in the dog house. thus all the players we lost in the last 2 years. they play yes men and not the best players. any player from the matt ryan days will tell you ryan was the best qb on the team, PERIOD, from his soph year on. they didn't play him. it took them a while to warm up to petersen. maybe if fsu scores in the 50's spaz will be gone.

Got no offense, and nobody wins who can't score.
Go Eagles!
What are you talking about w Matt Ryan?
ReplyDeleteHe started the last game of his freshman year against Syracuse(lost a huge game) and then played all three years after that. Quinton porter was three year starter in front of him when he was a freshman.
How have you had today Harrow?
why should i be banned. because the catholic church let children get raped and molested and did nothing. thank goodness bc has dialogue on this subject, as the jesuits are always moving forward. of course the vatican was angry at bc. i know people who experienced this from members of the church and are messed up by it. they are scum. i don't care if they are men of god, they are criminals and should be dealt with accordingly. this isn't the forum for this subject. but if you can't acknowledge this is a major problem in the church, i feel sorry for you. just put your head in the sand and pray i guess. what you call for spaz to be fired but you are an apologist for a church which covers up rape. read the most recent report by the irish govt. that is the most catholic, pious country in the western world and they have had enough too. this isn't 1950, anti-catholicism is but a blip on the radar these days if at all. i am guessing by your comments you are 50 or older. i am only talking about football from now on.
ReplyDelete4th & 2 down by 21. how about we do a fake punt spaz.
ReplyDeletespaz: play not to be second guessed. pathetic.
Agree mmason. Hate the game. hate the dick announcers, ESP Craig James, a long time BC disrespecter
ReplyDeletematt ryan did not start is sophomore year. by the way i just realized you are a recent grad, sorry. ok, i won't use "we", i mean BC. on this forum i thought it was appropriate as we are all bc fans.
ReplyDeleteMy head won't fit in the sand because yours is in there.
ReplyDeleteYou don't know squat about BC football either.
Have another one.
Ban harrow.
ReplyDelete"been a little bit mysterious his departure" -- WOW the spaz/gene D cover-up of rogers leaving the program being exposed by rece davis on ESPN. awesome.
ReplyDeleteif nothing else, this embarassing game will be the final nail in spaz's short lived head coaching career.
that drive chart is amazing!
ReplyDeleteIs there a final score tonight that means Spaz packs up his desk tomorrow?
ReplyDeleteYou better mean BC because you are not part of the "We."
ReplyDeletePeople--let's watch the game. All the other jive is not what's happening here. Our guys on the field are getting clocked and fighting it out pretty damn well--they need some coaching and some crazy play from an unknown. The Rettig deal isn't working.

ReplyDeleteMy prediciton earlier today was 38-9. Hopefully it doesn't end up much worse than that.
ReplyDeleteThe hit Rettig took from the FSU saftey was brutal. He is a tough player
The Silver Lining
ReplyDeleteSpaz has brought BC to the point of non-competitiveness, as is plainly evident by the 28-0 score in 2Q.
So what is the Silver Lining to this embarrassment? This will be part of the case to FIRE SPAZ and make it more difficult for GDF to make excuses.
He did start half way through the year.
ReplyDeletekuechly's last home game at BC is probably the NC State game.
ReplyDeletedon't know why he would stick around on this sinking ship. he'll be a top 20 pick.
spaz knows he's toast.
There's my crazy play from the unknown guy!!!!
ReplyDeleteYou said the comment was stupid and then brought up molestation.
ReplyDeleteWe have officially regressed to the late 70's when we did not have a program at all.
ReplyDeletethis is truly a disgrace - that Spaziani have DeFillipo have brought to us in a very short period of time.
It will take years to recover from this.
How about the same offensive set and Deuce up the middle.
Wow Bordner.
bordner finally!
ReplyDeleteif spaz doesn't go for it here he should be fired at half time.
geesh, some of you people harbor alot of hate. i graduated from
ReplyDeleteBC, I can say whatever I want about it and I haven't said anything bad. I can also tell you I give 10x more to the school than anyone on this board. So don't attack me. leave it to spaz to yank the hot hand just as we start to drive. you couldn't make this stuff up!
ReplyDeleteat least the bordner switch shows spaz is actually functioning or has some electric pulses in his brain
ReplyDeleteHarrow--give it a rest and grab a scapula. Let's play ball here.
ReplyDeleteBordner!!!!The second coming of Paul Peterson!!!
Yes!!!!!!!!!Go Eagles!
rettig back, lol. i take back my spaz commetn about his brain, unless bordner is hurt.
ReplyDeleteAtlast. A QB at BC with huevos and skills. Why is Rettig on the field?
ReplyDeleteThe molestation comments are assinine and you know it.
ReplyDeleteGo figure the big giver has to let everyone know that he is a big giver. Classic.
Cry me a river or better yet get me a chicken pot pie.
http://www.chickenpie.com/
Priceless fumble 2 ....but on Bordner
ReplyDeleteWell, the kid will be great tonight. I think we have a "live" one...let's stop these FSU dudes NOW.
ReplyDeleteGo Eagles!
wasn't Deuces fault.
ReplyDeleteThis is awful - just when we had a little spark.
Harrow. Prove u are a bC guy by talking about BC not about Harrow
ReplyDeletewe should just set this game to some clown music. again, at this point let's hope we don't score at all and get blown out bad. the game plan at the beginning of the game was just sad and it just won't change. spaz and company are too stubborn. "we have to tackle them and we will be ok," lol
ReplyDeleteThat is talking about this BC football game
ReplyDeleteThat was the best interview Spaz has ever given.
ReplyDeleteProud of the way he handles the questions.
Go Eagles!
Ruling on Field Confirmed: Spaz must be fired
ReplyDeletethen don't attack me, i said one comment was stupid and you still haven't stopped. this from the guy who thinks ryan started the cuse game his freshman year. what is wrong about the molestation comment, if they had a sign about that, that would be horrible. how is that a bad comment. uconn students years ago had a molestation chant at bc students, it was horrible and classless. all i was stating is that if they had a sign like that it would be wrong. i am sorry a sign about praying some kids made is not wrong. again, any acknowledgement of your lack of bc football knowledge by the ryan comment. i am not talking about myself, i just had to shut your negative attacks up. if i help bc more than you do or ever will, how is that wrong. just don't attack people for silly reasons when you know nothing about them.
ReplyDeleteI don't know where to begin.
ReplyDeleteBut even if Rettig was not hurt, I don't think he should play the second half.
This is shaping up as the worst case scenario - If FSU doesn't dial it back, it could be a 50 to 0 or 50 to 7 deal.
Thanks for your service, Coach Spaz and AD Gene. Please move on or you will eventually be fired!
The players will have to dig very deeply to play hard for this bum. Let's hope they play for themselves and for us - their school.
Ruling on the Blog Confirmed: Harrow is complete Dick
ReplyDeletethe chicken pie place is funny, have you tried them, i don't live in MA, maybe i will try one next time I am around. i do like chicken pot pie.
ReplyDeleteYou haven't stopped.
ReplyDeleteYour one of these people who has to have the last word.
It isn't enough for you to say the comment is stupid. You then have to take it over the line.
You never know I may give more to the University than you do. Don't let the name fool you.
I want extra chicken the pot pie by the way
ReplyDeletedon't be mad at your life mod, again how am i a dick. i expressed one comment, you don't agree, let's move on. just don't attack people for their own thoughts, even if you agree or not. i didn't start this war you want to wage on here. although i feel if this was a good game we wouldn't of had any of this discussion. also, if i wasn't so bored to night with a bit of a cold i wouldn't even be on here, but your comments against me or so priceless that i continue.
ReplyDeleteRettig is throwing decently. 5-7. With one clear drop.
ReplyDeleteOL is just totally outclassed. The one Historic BC strength is now the worst part of the team
The place is great. The original one is in reading, ma. where i grew up.
ReplyDeleteI live in winchester, ma now and don't make it up there much.
The Spaz half time interview did not throw anyone under the bus. That is good. Playing Bordner was good. With no Oline you gotta do something different. Progress in an unwinable situation.
ReplyDeletei just want you to take back the comment i know nothing about bc football, the fact you backed up by claiming ryan played his freshman year. you opened the box, now close it. i don't need to have the last word, you said i was wrong about ryan, when the fact is you were wrong. but you can't admit it. i like extra peas in my chicken pies.
ReplyDeleteHarrow, I'm a longtime (since 1970) BC alum and fan, and a very kind and patient new grandma. You may be a good and generous person but you are even annoying me; please stop.
ReplyDeleteare you a member at winchester cc, i play a bit there when in town. we should play sometime together and split a pie over our differences.
ReplyDeleteHarrow,
ReplyDeleteBeavis and Butthead is back on the air. Should was popular when I was in high school. I claim Beavis you can be Butthead.
Burned.
big jack krack is probably one of the most knowledgable people on this board, especially with bc football history. i think all of his comments are spot on. big jack, you need to form a nice group of alumni your age and write some letters, stop giving to flynn fund, etc. the old grads like you hold alot of weight, at least they used too. unfortunately, i know alot of boosters at bc who give alot of money and like our AD and think he is doing a great job. until we get some heat on him for a change with spaz, it might just be pointless to think a change will happen.
ReplyDeleteNo. I belong to the small swim and boatclub further down cambridge street
ReplyDeleteIt's time for my "crazy unknown guy with mad skills and huevos to match"...to go from theory to miracle.
ReplyDeleteImportant not to listen to ESPN pundit
BS and watch the game...
that is a nice little lake and club there.
ReplyDeletei feel i have turned into bravesbill for the evening, lol. looking back on it though, everything he has said the last 3 years was right. i think alot of us were just hoping we would keep on winning.
ReplyDeleteok i am off for a while, i feel bad now for arguing with other fans. wow, we threw the ball there. are we making adjustments? that would be incredible.
ReplyDeleteThe sideline looks apoplectic
ReplyDeleteThere we go
ReplyDeleteThank God. Finally, a score.
ReplyDeleteIt's a TD. It's a score...but where's my man, Bordner? Will DSpaz use him as a sidewinder missile later?
ReplyDeleteTold y'all that this would get interesting...but The D must have another takeaway and continue to mess up the FSU dream...we can do this, (especially if Jesse Palmer is struck by lightning and we don't have top listen to his BS stat talk, while he recovers at Mass Gen'l, of course.)
We needed a break like that to start the game.
ReplyDeleteI was surprised Rettig came back on the field.
Half of the students are gone.
We are very young.
Rettig throwing has improved dramatically. He is playing well. The OL and the run is the bad thing
ReplyDeleteHe is 8/11 and 144 QBr
ReplyDeleteNot many yards though
I agree. That fumble on the FSU 5 yard line early was brutal.
ReplyDeleteTo Harrow on this night...
ReplyDeleteWag More, Bark Less...
Be Here Now...
and remember, Zeno the Stoic from your
BC Philosophy classes circa 1970--
"Nothing is certain--not even that."
Always Believe in BC...
What has happened to Quigley this year? Nutz. How hard is it to loft. A 40 yard punt
ReplyDeleteCheck out ATL's twitter feed. Former player Matt Tennant is calling out Spaz and is saying a change is needed. This can only help. Defense looks good again.
ReplyDeletethose defensive kids are showing heart, they look fired up still
ReplyDeleteDont be surprised if Spaz says something to Jimbo after the game for going for it on 4th down up 24
ReplyDeleteThat saftey is a little guy. Alot to prove
ReplyDeleteContinue to fight, men.
ReplyDeleteGreat defensive stop and I like Larmond giving the business to the DB.
What just happened to Evans?
ReplyDeleteFor a 2-6 team, this BC squad talks a lot of trash. Just an observation.
ReplyDeleteThat pass looked like it came from Quinton Porter
ReplyDeleteThey started all that during the clemson game.
ReplyDeleteShould have had some confidence during the NW, Duke, and C Fla game. Would have been helpful then
Rettig...another telegraphed pas to an INT...
ReplyDeleteWhere's Bordner, Spaz?
DE makes the INT because the freshman nose guard is a one man wrecking crew; Throw to the FB; diddle around a little bit and then pick up the first down - and score easily.
ReplyDeleteThat's pass--not "pas", n'est-ce pas?
ReplyDeletenot surprising, but this eliminates BC's chance at a bowl game.
ReplyDeletefire spaz
Give Uncle Dave some game time. Throw him a bone.
ReplyDeleteI'm going to bed.
I am not proud that I cancelled my trip to Boston for this game - but it sure was the right decision.
They won the Under Armour Bowl that is all Gene cares about.
ReplyDeleteGood night all.
ReplyDeleteRun it up the middle, coach. I'm leaving it with you.
What a pathetic place we have fallen to.
BC playbook is, what, like 3 pages? aren't we supposed to be smart? our scheme is so vanilla its embarassing.
ReplyDeleteno bowl in 2011.
spaz has got to go.
also, i'd like to see bordner start next week against NC state. i think he's shown enough moxie this game, and he's at least commanding the huddle and getting his team excited. rettig is a baby and played like a fraidy cat.
punting down 31 is truly embarassing. spaz might as well just throw in the towel and forfeit the game!
ReplyDeleteWhy are they punting? You should be fired for that right there. Even if we don't get it, FSU is just going to run it up the middle 3 times in a row. Spaz is so embarassing, thank goodness Tennant called him out on twitter. Maybe some other former players will jump on board. If spaz doesn't resign at the end of this year, he isn't the great person everyone says he is.
ReplyDeletefor the year against D1 opponents BC has been outscored 222-121
ReplyDeleteIf anyone out there thought this team and these coaches were going to a bowl game after Northwestern...and after all the subsequent BC miscues and boneheaded moves on every side of the ball--I suggest y'all take up tennis as a substitute for football...
ReplyDeleteThese kids are good, but they are not prepped to play against serious coaches with serious intentions...
Hats off to our guys who never quit even when they knew they didn't have a prayer...
Go Eagles!
keep on dreaming
ReplyDeleteI thought Spaz would kneel down there.
ReplyDeleteThose uniforms looked like pajamas; like something a high school team would wear. How appropriate.
