BC added a bit more size to its recruiting class by securing the
commitment of Arizona DT Jaxon Hood. Hood is not particularly highly rated, but did have solid interest from a few other programs. He would be the first Arizona guy we've had on the football team in a long, long time.
BC lost to UMass-Lowell 3-2 on Friday night.
BC Draft held a Q&A with CJ Jones.
The best scenario discussed in ACC expansion would be BC playing Syracuse every year and allowing Pitt to become annual rivals to Virginia Tech.
that CJ Jones interview was a good read. he sounds like a good kid, seemed pretty articulate; the proverbial "BC Guy" sort of thing. nice to see he got a med-redshirt and will be a "freshman" next year. i really liked what i saw from asprilla this year. Louis-Jean seemed hesitant and i wasn't really impressed with watching him in person; hopefully we will have a good secondary next year.
ReplyDeletenice to see BC is recruiting everywhere. can't hurt to get a D-lineman from arizona.
Can't wait to see ATL response to ridiculous Blaudschun piece in Globe today.
ReplyDeleteTechnology & BC
ReplyDeleteLast evening I had to be out of town, without access to my desktop computer where I can sometimes use the BC free version of all-access to listen to the hockey game. This service is unreliable with many outages.
I got on my iPhone (Verizon), found the UMass-Lowell web site, downloaded an MP3 version of the game broadcast, an option not available from BC. The MP3 streamcast was capable of being played by iTunes on my iPhone. I plugged the iPhone into the auxiliary jack of my car's audio system and was treated to my own, personal broadcast of the game as I drove through the night.
FWIW I urge BC to make MP3 streams available for easy use by those with iPhones and iPads.
