  1. ellington and boyd scare me

  2. Ellington should, particularly out of the backfield and into the flats on passing routs. Historically BC hasn't been able to cover that vs. Clemson.

  4. Some of us felt that we had a good chance to be 3 and 0 coming into this game, with an extra week to prepare, etc.

At 1 and 2, this game becomes huge - even bigger than we may have imagined.

Let's go BC - sorry I couldn't be with you at Alumni today. I hope we have a half decent crowd to witness our team putting points on the board today.

I am sorry that we have been w/o some of our stars this season and Ramsey's status is perplexing - since I haven't learned anything about his injury.

Go BC - shock Clemson at home (again).

  5. Paul Johnson and Georgia Tech getting outclassed by Middle Tennessee - pathetic.

    ReplyDelete
  6. It's getting tough to argue that the ACC is not a joke in football.

Nice jog, Georgia Tech at home in Atlanta.

BC has to win that game now. They have just been humiliated in their own stadium by Middle Tennessee.

  7. Won't be able to watch most of the game today, as we're visiting family in Baton Rouge. Going to the LSU slaughter of Towson State tonight; should be quite the experience.

    Go BC...surprise everyone!

    ReplyDelete
  8. Reports are coming out that we will have special jerseys today. Any extra motivation helps.

    ReplyDelete
  9. I like going for it on 4th.

    ReplyDelete
  10. We would have had the first down.

    ReplyDelete
  11. Makes me a little mad the refs whistle the timeout when we already showed the play.

Oh well, got the 1st down anyway.

    ReplyDelete
  12. Fun so far. Different formations.

    TD

    ReplyDelete
  13. Sinkovec has been crucial this year.

    ReplyDelete
  14. For those at the game, what is your guess on attendance?

    ReplyDelete
  15. That was a college football drive!

How about that trick play with Swigert?

Williams looking great - great line blocking - Rettig in control, etc.

    ReplyDelete
  16. 3-man rush is not going to work with this team.

    Yet another 3rd down conversion.

    ReplyDelete
  17. Back to Spaz conservatism.

    ReplyDelete
  18. Well, the lead was fun while it lasted. Can't expect greatness under Spazoo.

    ReplyDelete
  19. Love those do-overs!

    ReplyDelete
  20. We can't get conservative. Clemson just proved they can score quickly.

    ReplyDelete
  21. 3 man rush and Gallik was overmatched.

    Bring on a new punter.

    ReplyDelete
  22. Rettig got greedy. He had a guy wide open at the sticks and he held on to the ball for the sack. He should have thrown it away.

And WTF with Levano? Put in the freshman punter for God's sake!

    ReplyDelete
  23. This might be the worst defense of the since Spaz took over as DC.

    ReplyDelete
  24. I knew Vegas and ATL were crazy with their point spread predictions. Even my 17 point loss prediction is looking like it is in jeopardy.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Sadly reverting to form.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Defense is awful
Punter is worse (avg 28 yards a punt)

    ReplyDelete
  27. I don't understand why people can't see we are not very good. We don't have much talent and we are horribly coached. We would not even finish .500 in the MAC, just face reality.

    ReplyDelete
  28. Go for it. Why punt?

    ReplyDelete
  29. BC needs to run shorter, quicker routes. At this point, they just need yards.

    ReplyDelete
  30. The int is a nice answer to going for it.

    ReplyDelete
  31. The black cloud of Spazoo is thick over Chestnut Hill.

We need to rid the Heights of this negative force. Everything within 10 miles of his 'stache turns to crap.

    ReplyDelete
  32. Stay away from the Nyquill offense and gun the ball.

    ReplyDelete
  33. That was a great catch by Coleman. He's finally coming along.

    ReplyDelete
  34. That's the way we have to play.

    Congratulations and Go BC!

    ReplyDelete
  35. Finally a reason to be excited

    ReplyDelete
  36. Frank - just stay out of the way and let your coaches do their jobs.

    ReplyDelete
  37. Love watching Amidon running away from Clemson.

    ReplyDelete
  38. Finally, a break that goes our way. Blatant false start on the TD play, but we will take it.

    ReplyDelete
  39. That one was for "CC".

I have been saying for quite awhile that Alex would break away. That was fun to watch.

I said to my wife on 4th and 1 - this is where you torch them.

    ReplyDelete
  40. This would be a great stop - let's go BC.

    Tighten up!

    ReplyDelete
  41. Classic BC under Spazoo!! Your offense finally gets momentum and your defense gives up a TD right before half. How many times have we seen this?

    ReplyDelete
  42. For those at the game, it was the right call.

    ReplyDelete
  43. Too bad CJ couldn't have knocked that down with his left hand.

    Technique?

How big is the Clemson Pep Band? They sound pretty loud.

    ReplyDelete
  44. Gallik is having a tough time.

Go BC - we get the ball.

    ReplyDelete
  45. Not a bad half. More scoring than I would like for them, but I think we are still in good position.

    ReplyDelete
  46. Im not too mad at Gallik on that particular one.. looked like Rettig was about to get pounded.

    ReplyDelete
  47. Did they say anything about the condition of KPL?

    ReplyDelete
  48. Listening to Brian St. Pierre trying to interview someone is excruciatingly painful. He's the worst interviewer I've ever heard; even worse than Fox's Ken Rosenthal.

    ReplyDelete
  49. Our first drop of the day.

    ReplyDelete
  50. Has Clemson started a single drive behind the 30?

    ReplyDelete
  51. That's a touchdown folks!

    ReplyDelete
  52. Wow, Clemson got screwed on that call. Maybe the Spazoo black cloud has lifted.

    ReplyDelete
  53. Wow - I thought that was a Clemson TD.

    ReplyDelete
  54. Wow - "Steel" DeVitto - Boyd is pretty tough.

    ReplyDelete
  55. The holding no-call on that first down run by Boyd was a make-up call.

And dumbass Spazoo just burns a critical timeout. I despise that man. That will come back to haunt us. You know we are going to be down late needing every second for a comeback.

    ReplyDelete
  56. That was rough. We need to answer again.

    ReplyDelete
  57. Well, that timeout worked well, Spaz.

    ReplyDelete
  58. Game over. We needed to do more than a 3 and out there. Now we are putting an exhausted defense back out on the field.

    ReplyDelete
  59. Here come the drops again.

    ReplyDelete
  60. Don't mind the pooch punt.

    ReplyDelete
  61. 2-10 on 3rd downs. We can criticize the defense for giving up a lot of points. But, that is not getting it done by the offense either.

Pylon rule. We were wrong about Clemson getting screwed on the TD pass.

    ReplyDelete
  62. How do we let him get behind us?

    ReplyDelete
  63. Good stop there on D.

    ReplyDelete
  64. Why are we running the ball?????

    ReplyDelete
  65. Clemson is 8-13 on 3rd down. Defense not getting it done either.

    ReplyDelete
  66. Bad decision by Rettig. That hurts.

    ReplyDelete
  67. Amidon stopped on the play. Not on Chase.

    ReplyDelete
  68. Looked like Swiggert was wide open to the left.

    ReplyDelete
  69. Well, there is the 17 point margin I predicted. I doubt we can come back from this far back (never have under Spazoo), but I'm hoping BC can get a couple scores to at least make it look respectable.

    ReplyDelete
  70. Watch out boys - take a deep breath and get a couple of scores.

Unfortunately, our D "ain't what it used to be."

Was Amidon interfered with on that INT?

    ReplyDelete
  71. I really am wondering what Martin sees that we don't. Why are we still running?

    ReplyDelete
  72. Please explain this to me. You are down by 17. You have just barely over a quarter left. You are averaging 2 yards per carry. Why are you running the football????

And yet another example of Spazoo's horrible game coaching. Clemson clearly made adjustments at half to slow down the BC offense. Where are the BC adjustments??

    ReplyDelete
  73. Other than Amidon's gaffe on the int, he's been solid.

    ReplyDelete
  74. There is one score.

    Brilliant timeout by Spazoo!

    ReplyDelete
  75. Amidon creating space - I love it and a great fake and throw by Rettig.

    ReplyDelete
  76. Did anyone expect Amidon to have this kind of season?

    ReplyDelete
  77. Outside of Sylvia's INT, the safeties have been bad today.

    ReplyDelete
  78. We stink, we could lose every game from here out.

    ReplyDelete
  79. Watch us run the ball now.

    ReplyDelete
  80. Why are we huddling?

    ReplyDelete
  81. What can you say?

We haven't got the talent they do - but we are playing hard and not giving up.

Chase would have 6-8 TD passes today with this crew! And Watkins isn't even here.

    ReplyDelete
  82. Why are we not going no huddle? It's taking us 40 seconds per play.

    ReplyDelete
  83. Harrow, GaTech isn't looking so great, and neither is Wake. And Maryland is Maryland.

    ReplyDelete
  84. Gtech option will eat us alive. we have arguably the worst defense in the country.

    ReplyDelete
  85. That was a great stop by Clancy.

    ReplyDelete
  86. Good defense there though.

    ReplyDelete
  87. The Juggernaut from Joliet!

    ReplyDelete
  88. The BC coaching staff needs to be fired tomorrow! You're down by 2 TD's with only 6:30 to go and 1 timeout and you run the ball???? That run completely destroyed their momentum.

    #firespaz!!!!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  89. Well that was Chase trying to make a play after that stupid first down call; and second down wasn't much better.

Martin had the announcers scratching their heads.

    ReplyDelete
  90. We fans would never have called for a slow sweep.

    ReplyDelete
  91. Watch BC run the ball on first down.a

    ReplyDelete
  92. Signs of life. Now convert early.

    ReplyDelete
  93. 1-3. What is the over-under that we get more than 4 wins?

Realistically, I never projected BC to win versus Clemson, but I fully expected BC to be 2-2 at this point (I figured Miami and Maine as wins).

    ReplyDelete
  94. I really like this. It is very excited and I think
