The Clemson games have generated some of the most memorable in-game posts, whether in victory or defeat. Let's hope this is a special day and the team bounces back from our rough start. Leave your thoughts and comments below.

ellington and boyd scare me
ReplyDeleteEllington should, particularly out of the backfield and into the flats on passing routs. Historically BC hasn't been able to cover that vs. Clemson.

ReplyDeleteSome of us felt that we had a good chance to be 3 and 0 coming into this game, with an extra week to prepare, etc.
ReplyDeleteAt 1 and 2, this game becomes huge - even bigger than we may have imagined.
Let's go BC - sorry I couldn't be with you at Alumni today. I hope we have a half decent crowd to witness our team putting points on the board today.
I am sorry that we have been w/o some of our stars this season and Ramsey's status is perplexing - since I haven't learned anything about his injury.
Go BC - shock Clemson at home (again).
Paul Johnson and Georgia Tech getting outclassed by Middle Tennessee - pathetic.
ReplyDeleteIt's getting tough to argue that the ACC is not a joke in football.
ReplyDeleteNice jog, Georgia Tech at home in Atlanta.
BC has to win that game now. They have just been humiliated in their own stadium by Middle Tennessee.
Won't be able to watch most of the game today, as we're visiting family in Baton Rouge. Going to the LSU slaughter of Towson State tonight; should be quite the experience.
ReplyDeleteGo BC...surprise everyone!
Reports are coming out that we will have special jerseys today. Any extra motivation helps.
ReplyDeleteWeird unis.
ReplyDeleteI like going for it on 4th.
ReplyDeleteWe would have had the first down.
ReplyDeleteMakes me a little mad the refs whistle the timeout when we already showed the play.
ReplyDeleteOh well, got the 1st down anyway.
Fun so far. Different formations.
ReplyDeleteTD
Sinkovec has been crucial this year.
ReplyDeleteFor those at the game, what is your guess on attendance?
ReplyDeleteThat was a college football drive!
ReplyDeleteHow about that trick play with Swigert?
Williams looking great - great line blocking - Rettig in control, etc.
Another TOB WTF!!!!
ReplyDelete3-man rush is not going to work with this team.
ReplyDeleteYet another 3rd down conversion.
Back to Spaz conservatism.
ReplyDeleteWell, the lead was fun while it lasted. Can't expect greatness under Spazoo.
ReplyDeleteLove those do-overs!
ReplyDeleteShould be 7 to 6.
ReplyDeleteWe can't get conservative. Clemson just proved they can score quickly.
ReplyDeleteShould be 7 to 6.
ReplyDelete3 man rush and Gallik was overmatched.
ReplyDeleteBring on a new punter.
Rettig got greedy. He had a guy wide open at the sticks and he held on to the ball for the sack. He should have thrown it away.
ReplyDeleteAnd WTF with Levano? Put in the freshman punter for God's sake!
This might be the worst defense of the since Spaz took over as DC.
ReplyDeleteSpaz looks sad...
ReplyDeleteI knew Vegas and ATL were crazy with their point spread predictions. Even my 17 point loss prediction is looking like it is in jeopardy.
ReplyDeleteSadly reverting to form.
ReplyDeleteDefense is awful
ReplyDeletePunter is worse (avg 28 yards a punt)
I don't understand why people can't see we are not very good. We don't have much talent and we are horribly coached. We would not even finish .500 in the MAC, just face reality.
ReplyDeleteGo for it. Why punt?
ReplyDeleteBC needs to run shorter, quicker routes. At this point, they just need yards.
ReplyDeleteThe int is a nice answer to going for it.
ReplyDeleteThe black cloud of Spazoo is thick over Chestnut Hill.
ReplyDeleteWe need to rid the Heights of this negative force. Everything within 10 miles of his 'stache turns to crap.
Boo.
ReplyDeleteStay away from the Nyquill offense and gun the ball.
ReplyDeleteThat was a great catch by Coleman. He's finally coming along.
ReplyDeleteThat's the way we have to play.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations and Go BC!
Finally a reason to be excited
ReplyDeleteImpressive drive!
ReplyDeleteFrank - just stay out of the way and let your coaches do their jobs.
ReplyDeleteLove watching Amidon running away from Clemson.
ReplyDeleteFinally, a break that goes our way. Blatant false start on the TD play, but we will take it.
ReplyDeleteThat one was for "CC".
ReplyDeleteI have been saying for quite awhile that Alex would break away. That was fun to watch.
I said to my wife on 4th and 1 - this is where you torch them.
Prevent nothing.
ReplyDeleteThis would be a great stop - let's go BC.
ReplyDeleteTighten up!
Classic BC under Spazoo!! Your offense finally gets momentum and your defense gives up a TD right before half. How many times have we seen this?
ReplyDeleteFor those at the game, it was the right call.
ReplyDeleteToo bad CJ couldn't have knocked that down with his left hand.
ReplyDeleteTechnique?
How big is the Clemson Pep Band? They sound pretty loud.
Gallik is having a tough time.
ReplyDeleteGo BC - we get the ball.
Not a bad half. More scoring than I would like for them, but I think we are still in good position.
ReplyDeleteIm not too mad at Gallik on that particular one.. looked like Rettig was about to get pounded.
ReplyDeleteDid they say anything about the condition of KPL?
ReplyDeleteListening to Brian St. Pierre trying to interview someone is excruciatingly painful. He's the worst interviewer I've ever heard; even worse than Fox's Ken Rosenthal.
ReplyDeleteOur first drop of the day.
ReplyDeleteHas Clemson started a single drive behind the 30?
ReplyDeleteThat's a touchdown folks!
ReplyDeleteWow, Clemson got screwed on that call. Maybe the Spazoo black cloud has lifted.
ReplyDeleteWow - I thought that was a Clemson TD.
ReplyDeleteWow - "Steel" DeVitto - Boyd is pretty tough.
ReplyDeleteThe holding no-call on that first down run by Boyd was a make-up call.
ReplyDeleteAnd dumbass Spazoo just burns a critical timeout. I despise that man. That will come back to haunt us. You know we are going to be down late needing every second for a comeback.
That was rough. We need to answer again.
ReplyDeleteWell, that timeout worked well, Spaz.
ReplyDeletelFreshman mistake.
ReplyDeleteGame over. We needed to do more than a 3 and out there. Now we are putting an exhausted defense back out on the field.
ReplyDeleteGreat stop.
ReplyDeleteHere come the drops again.
ReplyDeleteDon't mind the pooch punt.
ReplyDelete2-10 on 3rd downs. We can criticize the defense for giving up a lot of points. But, that is not getting it done by the offense either.
ReplyDeletePylon rule. We were wrong about Clemson getting screwed on the TD pass.
How do we let him get behind us?
ReplyDeleteGood stop there on D.
ReplyDeleteWhy are we running the ball?????
ReplyDeleteClemson is 8-13 on 3rd down. Defense not getting it done either.
ReplyDeleteBad decision by Rettig. That hurts.
ReplyDeleteAmidon stopped on the play. Not on Chase.
ReplyDeleteLooked like Swiggert was wide open to the left.
ReplyDeleteWell, there is the 17 point margin I predicted. I doubt we can come back from this far back (never have under Spazoo), but I'm hoping BC can get a couple scores to at least make it look respectable.
ReplyDeleteWatch out boys - take a deep breath and get a couple of scores.
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately, our D "ain't what it used to be."
Was Amidon interfered with on that INT?
I really am wondering what Martin sees that we don't. Why are we still running?
ReplyDeletePlease explain this to me. You are down by 17. You have just barely over a quarter left. You are averaging 2 yards per carry. Why are you running the football????
ReplyDeleteAnd yet another example of Spazoo's horrible game coaching. Clemson clearly made adjustments at half to slow down the BC offense. Where are the BC adjustments??
Other than Amidon's gaffe on the int, he's been solid.
ReplyDeleteThere is one score.
ReplyDeleteBrilliant timeout by Spazoo!
Amidon creating space - I love it and a great fake and throw by Rettig.
ReplyDeleteDid anyone expect Amidon to have this kind of season?
ReplyDeleteOutside of Sylvia's INT, the safeties have been bad today.
ReplyDeleteWe stink, we could lose every game from here out.
ReplyDeleteWatch us run the ball now.
ReplyDeleteWhy are we huddling?
ReplyDeleteWhat can you say?
ReplyDeleteWe haven't got the talent they do - but we are playing hard and not giving up.
Chase would have 6-8 TD passes today with this crew! And Watkins isn't even here.
ACC in trouble OOC
ReplyDeleteWhy are we not going no huddle? It's taking us 40 seconds per play.
ReplyDeleteHarrow, GaTech isn't looking so great, and neither is Wake. And Maryland is Maryland.
ReplyDeleteGtech option will eat us alive. we have arguably the worst defense in the country.
ReplyDeleteThat was a great stop by Clancy.
ReplyDeleteGood defense there though.
ReplyDeleteThe Juggernaut from Joliet!
ReplyDeleteRunning it, lol
ReplyDeleteThe BC coaching staff needs to be fired tomorrow! You're down by 2 TD's with only 6:30 to go and 1 timeout and you run the ball???? That run completely destroyed their momentum.
ReplyDelete#firespaz!!!!!!!
Well that was Chase trying to make a play after that stupid first down call; and second down wasn't much better.
ReplyDeleteMartin had the announcers scratching their heads.
We fans would never have called for a slow sweep.
ReplyDeleteWatch BC run the ball on first down.a
ReplyDeleteSigns of life. Now convert early.
ReplyDelete1-3. What is the over-under that we get more than 4 wins?
ReplyDeleteRealistically, I never projected BC to win versus Clemson, but I fully expected BC to be 2-2 at this point (I figured Miami and Maine as wins).
I really like this. It is very excited and I think
