Men's soccer knocked out of ACC Tourney and other links

Clemson knocked BC out of the ACC men's soccer tournament with penalty kicks. After two OTs, the shootout is a brutal way to lose. BC finishes the season 8-5-5.

Pat Forde addressed Spaz in his Forte-yard dash column. I think he undersells the quality of the job. Support is not great and recruiting is tough, but the pressure is low and the conference is very winnable.

Greg Joyce wrote a great column on Duece Finch. As the No. 2 running back on the depth chart, Finch will play this weekend.

  1. We might see the men's soccer team in the NCAA's. Going into the ACC tournament, they were a projected NCAA tourney team. Not sure how much the early exit from the ACC tourney hurts those chances.

  2. The only thing that would take the sting out of last nights loss for Romney would be a 3 pm press conference by bates to announce spaz's voluntary resignation.

  8. Just wondering - simply wondering - is Bicknell Jr. ready for a head coaching job at BC?

Would he be a good fit - a HC who could attract a top-notch coaching staff with strong recruiting ability?

I'm not promoting him as a candidate - just wondering what others think.

  9. I hate it when we lose on penalty kicks - I hate it when any games are decided that way - especially ours - especially to Clemson.
