A sign of a well coached and mature team is the ability to take every game and every opponent seriously. New Mexico State is struggling, but this game is important for BC. We need to play well and come out with the win. Let's hope we stay focused. Leave your comments and thoughts below.

As I sit in Chestnut Hill waiting for the 3:30 kickoff, there are probably 10 football games on various television stations. At 3:30, there are another group of games, including UNH v Delaware. Where is the BC game? ESPN3? What's up with that? No local coverage so we need to watch the game on a computer? This has to end. Any thoughts on. This? Am I missing something?

ReplyDeleteDirect TV has our game listed as being shown on 788. It looks like it is part of the GamePlan Package.
ReplyDeleteCan't tell what the blackout restrictions are.

ReplyDeleteAnyone know of a free stream?
ReplyDeleteRamman:
ReplyDeleteThe stream is free on ESPN3 or the NM State site.
I am getting in on Directv Channel 695.
BTW, this has a real cable access feel to the broadcast.
ReplyDeleteI don't think I've ever seen something like that. Did it even hit the ground?
ReplyDeleteFios 301
ReplyDeletethanks
ReplyDeleteIf dudeck never touched the ball again, I'll be a happy man. I'm starting to get an Aponavicious feel from him. He's outlived his utility.

ReplyDeleteThat was a fluke. Not the start I wanted but I am not worried.
ReplyDeleteWow this is certainly a local production
ReplyDeleteGlad they are getting it to Amidon. He deserves to be more than a decoy. Hopefully he gets 12 catches.
ReplyDeleteAmidon's got to pull that in. Shows that Rettig throws a nice ball when he has time.
ReplyDeleteYou're right. The muff was a fluke. But he has never really shown a spark. When you convert an undersized safety to an undersized RB because you have to, it would only make sense to stop using hi when you have another player better suited for the task at hand (Willis). Willis (and the other freshman RBs) are the future, dudeck is not.
ReplyDeleteDid anyone else lose picture.
ReplyDelete3rd and 9 draw. Nice call.
ReplyDeletePhenomenal run by Andre!
ReplyDeleteThe guys look a little gassed. Probably from the altitude.
ReplyDelete6-3. Call my crazy but I kind of figured we would be scoring touchdowns in this game, not field goals,
ReplyDeleteI would like to see some receiver besides Amidon get a chance today.
ReplyDeleteIf we can't shake someone loose against this team it would really be sad.
I would also like to see a different punt receiver.
ReplyDeleteGreat play action toss to the tight end!
ReplyDeleteWell duh - great call and easy TD.
ReplyDeleteHappy for Naples.
I said I wanted the Tight End pass out of the read option. Didn't expect it would got that far.
ReplyDeleteThis is like watching TV in 1977. Horrible production and it keeps stalling out.
ReplyDeleteWhy not go for it. NM State cannot move the ball.
ReplyDeleteThe number of drops today are frustrating.
ReplyDeleteThe video stream is as bad as our present defensive effort - brutal.
ReplyDeleteThat defensive effort was pathetic!
ReplyDeleteATL, it looks like the Aggies can indeed move the ball. Pathetic drive by the Eagle defense.
ReplyDeleteThis is the worst team in college football boys.
ReplyDeleteshow some interest and some guts.
That was terrible. See comments above. Especially BJK.
ReplyDeleteI cannot believe I am writing this but this drive is critical. Put them away.
ReplyDeleteThis has been a bizarre game so far. D playing like the D against Villanova. Offense moving the ball but stalling. Rettig being more productive that Williams. Bizarre.
ReplyDeleteIf Ross from "Friends" did the color commentary for a game, this is what it would sound like. I can't stand this guy.
ReplyDeleteAt least the BC offense showed up to play today.
ReplyDeleteAs the announcer said - and it wasn't Amidon.
ReplyDeleteIs Ramsey off today?
We need to bring more pressure on Defense.
ReplyDeleteShow some defense - let's go
ReplyDelete- this is brutal Spaziastic.
After starting strong the defense looks like they've lost their aggression.
ReplyDeleteThat was another terrible defensive drive.
ReplyDeleteHolding much?
ReplyDeleteThis was not a good half for BC. Can't let them hang around.
ReplyDeleteWow
ReplyDeletePathetic, pathetic, pathetic effort by the BC defense. They should be ashamed of themselves. This is a 1-8 team for God's sake!
ReplyDeleteD failed on that drive, but NMST is getting away with way too many holds.
ReplyDeleteEagleboston is right. This is a disgrace.
ReplyDeleteI don't know how you guys can see holds with this crappy Aggie Vision picture. I can barely see which team has the ball.
ReplyDeleteBrown needs to shut these bums out in the second half and we need to score 4 TDs in order to be able to even dream of earning a bowl bid.
ReplyDeleteThis defensive effort today is an embarrassment and we are in danger of being reduced to a spaz-laughingstock because of it.
Come on BC - show some desire and guts. Don't go as backwards.
BJK why are you convinced that we're going to be shut out of a bowl (if we make one)? I know we're not playing great today, but overall this season has been a huge successes. We've only had two bad losses, and two eye opening losses for the rest of CFB. I still have friends bring up how close we played FSU and Clemson, and how much respect they have for BC this year.
ReplyDeleteExactly what BJK said. Sorry, sorry defensive effort.
ReplyDeleteBig Jack Krack:
ReplyDeleteI don't care about style points or margin of victory. I just want the defense to play better.
If Ramsey is sitting today it shows how valuable he is to our DL.
ReplyDeletetake away KE and we are no better than our opponent.
brown had better cook something up and attack these guys.
Can you imagine - they believe they can win.
Make some adjustments - especially in attitude.
It is very disconcerting that we have to use Williams this much.
ReplyDeleteBen - if we can't beat these guys, we don't deserve a bid - period.
ReplyDeleteThat was the smartest play Chase has made in weeks.
ReplyDeleteThey are trying to wear these guys out - but with risks.
ReplyDeleteGreat going - now stuff these guys and get another one.
ReplyDeleteGreat statement drive there. Now we need the defense to get a stop.
ReplyDeleteTackling has been terrible today.
ReplyDeleteOK, I saw the holds by the wide receivers there.
ReplyDeleteD needs to make a statement this drive. BJK, I agree that if we don't beat NMST, we don't go bowling, but I don't think we lose.
ReplyDeleteThere are big holes again for Chase to keep it on the option plays.
ReplyDeleteThat should've been targeting. ACC refs at this game. I hope Addazio sends the tape on to the league office.
ReplyDeleteWe are letting these guys stay in the game.
ReplyDeleteOur guy would have let that punt roll dead.
The guy knocked himself for a loop too
ReplyDeleteKeyes looks lost on the read option. He's guessing wrong each time.
ReplyDeleteWe are playing base defense and not tackling. Did someone do something to Don Brown?
ReplyDeleteIn a close game, we may need those timeouts. I hate calling timeouts in the 3rd quarter.
ReplyDeleteWow - is there an agreement with Martin or something?
ReplyDeleteIf we don't score this game will be tied or we will be behind.
I am starting to get a sick feeling about this game. We cannot let them hang around like this.
ReplyDeleteWho is #28? The roster says Matt Milano. I've never heard of the guy. He completely got burned on that touchdown pass. I don't know what the hell he was thinking.
ReplyDeleteI am stunned right now. Stunned. How are the coaches allowing this to happen? How do you play so well against Va Tech and so poorly against a 1-8 team?
We can't stop the worst team in college football - hence we are tight back lower than whale shit and that's on the bottom of the ocean.
ReplyDeletePathetic embarrassment - yet somehow I expected this.
can you imagine asking please hold on?
BJK, what's up? Even during Spaz years you were never this negative?
ReplyDeleteJesus, now the offense it sucking up.
ReplyDeleteGood defensive series there.
ReplyDeleteNM State has pretty much stuffed the run the last 2 drives. We all know Rettig is a game manager and not a true passer. What do we do to score some points?
ReplyDeleteI like the adjustments Brown made on that series.
ReplyDeleteThe offense looks lost now too.
ReplyDeleteC'mon Daz, figure something out. Do not lose to this team!!!!!
ReplyDeletewhat happened to trying to actually catch a punt?
ReplyDeleteugh. Asprilla's got to hold onto that.
ReplyDeleteThe Aggie quarterback is better passer than Rettig.
ReplyDeleteMy computer keeps freezing right in the middle of critical plays. Anyone else experiencing the screen freezing?
ReplyDeleteWe need a different punt returned for sure.
ReplyDeleteWe are being out-coached and our players have no emotion.
How many missed tackles today?
ReplyDeleteEB - Too many
ReplyDeleteThe camera angles are as sickening as the play
ReplyDeleteThis game illustrates how utterly shitty Spaz was at recruiting. I think Brown is doing the best he can with these players but they are slow, sloppy and lack that winning attitude.
ReplyDeleteWillis!!!
ReplyDeleteCoaches, can you please give this guy more touches?
I am done posting for the day.
ReplyDeleteLet's see if our team - players and coaches - has any pride - any guts - any sense of how they are on the precipice of a disaster..
I guess Willis bailed us out temporarily.
Welp, back to the minibar and redtube.com.
ReplyDeleteMy internet access went out with 8 minutes left. I about had a heart attack. Thank God I heard that BC pulled this one out.
ReplyDeleteMediacomm is the shittiest company in the world. I wish Verizon or Comcast would buy them out.
I think Martin is bitter
ReplyDeleteTo say the post-game handshake between Daz and Martin was perfunctory is overstating it. No eye contact. Nothing said. No pause in running by. Wow....there must be some bad feeling left between Daz and Martin. They looked like Woody and Bo.
ReplyDeletetank to information...
