This is a critical game for a variety of reasons but most importantly because we don't have much room for error in our path to a bowl game. Virginia Tech tends to play down to their opponent, which should make this interesting. Leave your thoughts and comments below.

Tailgating very light. Everyone is at the Red Sox parade. Lots of Hokie fans.
ReplyDeleteI just counted. There are 50 SuperFans in the student section. #utterembarassment
ReplyDeleteWhat are the stands like?

ReplyDeleteDamn spellcheck
Good drive. We seem ready for the read option.
ReplyDeleteStill a little predictable.
ReplyDeleteGame is not on TV here in metro Boston because of the parade.
ReplyDeleteWhen they put nine in the box we need to audible.
ReplyDeleteSee. The Rettig holes have been there all year.
ReplyDeleteGreat - stay aggressive on D
ReplyDeleteVery nice drive. Nice mix of run and pass and nee looks.
ReplyDeleteGreat, great run by Williams. Very nice run by Rettig to set it up. So far, so good. As the Bostonians sang on ESPN, "For Boston, till the echoes ring again".
ReplyDeleteThomas is having trouble with our blitz.
ReplyDeleteWatching on my PC. I could not make the game so one of the parents of a starter has my tickets. 50 yard line.
ReplyDeleteI know that drive stalled but Chase is playing better.
ReplyDeleteIt's nice to see that Day basically has the same gameplan as he did last week: run on first and second down, and pass on third and long.
ReplyDeleteNeed to bring more pressure.
ReplyDeleteNeed to adjust on D from here on.
ReplyDeleteGet past the damn sticks! How many short passes have just missed today? Either horrible play calling, terrible situational awareness by the receivers or both.
ReplyDeleteToo predictable on offense ; crowd filling in a bit
ReplyDeleteHow many tds did we give up at the end of the half last year?
ReplyDeleteGeez, looks like the defense is going soft again. A conversion after 2nd and 30?! Unreal.
ReplyDeleteNo pressure. Soft zone. Ridiculous. Spaztastic.
ReplyDeletePlease hold
ReplyDeleteWatch fake fg
ReplyDeleteWell this game has been fun. No chance they come back now.
ReplyDeleteWell we set that up by not being aggressive on offense with 2 minutes to go in the half.
ReplyDeleteI hate it when coaches call plays that players never would.
Give these guys a chance coaches.
At the game. Been to many. This is the most boring game I can remember. Go BC hoops.
ReplyDeleteVery Spazoo-ish end to the half. Unbelievably frustrating. Rettig is playing better but the scheme has been multiple tight ends and run, run, pass. Not built for come from behind. 1st possession is critical. Also, more touches for Willis, please.
ReplyDeleteCrowd filled in a bit but still many empty seats.
Anyone else have a problem with BC taking the delay of game penalty instead of calling a timeout and then punting?
ReplyDeleteYes - I did.
ReplyDeleteI am sick of this stupid offensive game plan.
Watch out for 17 to 7.
Great break and play.
ReplyDeletelet's run Williams up the middle a couple
I hope Miller and Ramsey are ok in the long run.
ReplyDeleteGotta play for points with that 4th down at midfield. VT plays for points on 3rd and 17 and it pays off. We only needed one yard and instead opt to go conservative, which backfires. At least had one thing go right with that interception.
ReplyDeleteCan't cover in the middle of the field AND can't tackle. Bad combination.
ReplyDeleteNeed to answer. Can't win games only scoring 10 points.
ReplyDeleteWe are down by 7, bit there is plenty of time.
ReplyDeleteI suggest we run Williams up the middle on first and second downs to show them who's boss.
Watch out for the blocked punt!
ReplyDeleteThe D needs to hold them to three downs here.
ReplyDeleteI'll say it again, we will not go bowling with Rettig at QB. He cannot lead the team to points. 10 points and 3 of them were defense assisted. That is not getting it done in the ACC.
ReplyDeleteRudolph out now too.
ReplyDeleteGreat play by D and Edibali
4 doend

ReplyDeletePerfect throw by Rettig to Sinkovek.
ReplyDeleteBravo.
53 yards passing after 3 quarters. Ouch.
ReplyDeleteNeed to blitz more
ReplyDeleteI'm pacing here in Atlanta.
ReplyDeleteDaniels made that one happen. Great run by KPL.
ReplyDeleteQuote of the day from my girlfriend: "Finally! They covered the middle! See what happens when you do that, guys? You get touchdowns!" Indeed.
ReplyDeleteWhooooooo!
ReplyDeleteIf they screw this up, I will blow a gasket. Sick of playing tough (mostly) and moral victories. Want a W.
ReplyDeleteL-o-g-a-n to KPL - don't you just love it?
ReplyDeleteBull shit
ReplyDeleteTerrible call. Pass was uncatchable.
ReplyDeleteI think it grazed his fingers.
ReplyDeleteWow.
ReplyDeleteWilliams is a major DUDE! Wow!!!
ReplyDeletePrevent defense time!
ReplyDeleteIf they let VT back into this, I will crawl through the TV to throttle someone.
ReplyDeleteNice tackle
ReplyDeleteBC has not finished a big time game in years. Now they have to get 2 first downs.
ReplyDeleteWho missed that tackle? Not to be critical of the player, but bad technique.
ReplyDeleteCan we get ONE first down?
Crap if BC does not get the first down, Beamer is going to bring the house on the punt
ReplyDeleteDisappointing for sure.
ReplyDeleteI disagree with the announcer wholeheartedly. You play to win the damn game. Do a play action.
ReplyDeleteGilmore is spot on with his analysis.
ReplyDeleteNo difference between 2 mins and 2 1/2 mins in college. Still a ton of time to score.
ReplyDeleteNot at all. On that call he was incorrect. Thinking like a conservative coach who doesn't want to defend his decisions or be fired. Play to win the game. Lucky they got the fumble.
ReplyDeleteWhew! Very happy about this W. Thank God for the D and Williams.
ReplyDeleteVery happy for our team.
ReplyDeleteGreat win, guys.
We needed it - but more importantly, you needed it and deserved it.
