Schedule filled and other links

According to an ESPN report, BC filled its open 2014 date with Colorado State. That might not fire up the casual fan, but it is a solid way to fill out the season. Next year will be filled with growing pains as we replace a QB and adjust the offense. Colorado State is the type of opponent that should be an underdog but will give us some credibility.
BC dominated UNH Friday. Six different Eagles scored.

The Women's Basketball team lost to Wisconsin on Thursday.

  1. Colorado St. is a solid team. They were 7-6 with a win in Hawaii and a 25 point loss to Alabama and 10 point losses to San Jose St. and Boise St. With a completely new team, BC will have trouble with them.

  2. Colorado State HC is a former Saban assistant at Alabama. Saban laid-off the gas pedal.

Home game is the difference. It should be an Eagles win.

  3. Totally respectable. I'd go to see that game - I don't feel that way about Elon and Maine.

  5. I heard not that we withdrew, but that we were kicked out in favor of UConn. Don't know how true that is.

  6. Yawkey Trust. Fenway Sports Group. Your school has ties to the Red Sox NOT Yankees.

  7. The Army game last year apparently was one of their most well attended games in years. We have a strong New York following; I wish BC exploited it more. (though this year, I'm pretty pleased we have BC bball in both the Garden and at Barclays).

If we go to the pinstripe bowl, I think that's the same day as the barclay's game. That would be a fun ny bc sports day.

  8. West Point is 10x more appealing thank Yankee Stadium.
