The offense has stalled out. The first down play seemed a little weird. They put Outlow running to his left, but there were no blockers ahead of him. Not sure about the design of that play.
Yeah, Big Jack. It's a beautiful 72 degree day here but I was outside enjoying it earlier so I could watch the Eagles. I guess everyone else decided to ignore the game and enjoy the great fall day.
Not liking the way this game has swung. It's the little things that are killing us. Stupid penalties. Missing blocks and the one that drives me insane, not running past the 1st down marker as a receiver on 3rd down.
It stinks that every quarterback we face is miles better than Murphy as a passer. His one dimensional play is costing us games. I know everyone here loves him, but I think his lack of passing ability burned us versus Pitt and Colorado State. And it may cost us the Wake game.
A makeup for what? A correctly called pass interference penalty? This crap zone defense is exactly what BC did against CSU to lose. Why the hell are they running it now? It's pretty obvious that Don Brown learns absolutely nothing.

Emotion not reason, right? Or do you really mean that Brown tried to lose? fact is, young Wofford caught fire and his receivers were open. The BC pressure was not enough to get past the quick release. But, a win, ugly or pretty, is a win. If we were ranked it might matter, but.....
Nice looking drive. Just stalled out at the end. Wish we could have punched it in the endzone.
ReplyDeleteGet a pass to Alston - that will loosen them up.
ReplyDeleteNeed to find different ways to get the ball to Sherm. Everyone is on to the sweep.
ReplyDeleteWe'll take it.
ReplyDelete#11 badly missed a block on that toss to Outlow.
ReplyDeleteGreat blocking! Nice run Hilliman!
ReplyDelete12 minutes possession to 3 minutes give or take in Q1 for BC.
ReplyDeleteLots of BC penalties today. Need to get their heads in the game.
ReplyDeleteThat was an ugly offensive series.
ReplyDeleteDodged a bullet on that fake punt. That is a good use of a timeout.

ReplyDeleteI guess there aren't any other posters today, Eagleboston.
ReplyDeleteThe time of possession has got to be crazy for BC. This should pay off later in the 2nd half.
ReplyDeleteKickoff coverage is looking great today.
ReplyDeleteThis type of performance is how you get rid of the bitterness of the close Clemson loss.

ReplyDeleteNah... I'm still gong to be bitter about the Clemson loss. Shouldn't have happened. This is nice, though. Think the score should be even higher.
ReplyDeleteThat wasn't holding on 18.
ReplyDeleteGreat to see us dominate in the road in the 1st half. Esp. What is the nadir of Spaz's recruiting methods
ReplyDeleteAlso, Wake's stadium makes me feel better about Alumni
ReplyDeleteIt's too bad the freshman Moore was forced to start at corner. He's just not ready and he's getting burned.

ReplyDeleteAgree - we're potentially letting these guys hang around and move the ball.
ReplyDeleteDefense has forced very few turnovers this year.

ReplyDeleteAmazing. Every time I bust on Murphy's passing, he throws a touchdown. I need to hammer him more often.
ReplyDeleteGeez, another missed extra point??
The missed extra point is terrible, but that TD killed Wake's momentum.
ReplyDeleteI hate this damn zone. It never freaking works Brown. Bring the damn pressure.
ReplyDeleteThis defense just resurrected Wake's momentum.
ReplyDeleteThat was a makeup call.

ReplyDeleteI'm gonna be sick.
ReplyDeleteBC will lose this one. Disgrace.
ReplyDeleteThis is like CSU. Our Defense decides to take the half off.
ReplyDeleteIt it too early for BC to try to kill clock. We better come out trying to score.
ReplyDeleteAnother 4 man rush, another completion. Game over.
ReplyDeleteYou can't really do anything when your DC tries to screw you. Zone coverage is not going to work!
ReplyDeleteWake saw that coming the whole way.
ReplyDeleteGarbage play calls there. Mirror freaking image of CSU.
ReplyDeleteThe delay of game call is actually a smart move by Daz.
ReplyDeleteOf course the punt was bad.
ReplyDeleteThank goodness. I can breathe now.
ReplyDeleteSo lucky. 3 runs up the middle here. Wake will get it with over 90 seconds left
ReplyDeleteIt's an ACC road win. I'll take it.

ReplyDeleteWe still love your rare positive outlook, BB. What was the final score?
