In-game comments post: Louisville

On a cold, dark knight, just after the full moon, two birds met near the woods by the old reservoir...

Ok, it is probably too late to still be doing Halloween stuff, but I thought I would put a different twist on things. This should be a good game. It is strength vs. strength. Let's hope our guys pull through. Leave your thoughts and comments below.

  4. At the stadium. About half full

  5. Murphy had Philliips wide open on that' INT.

  6. Terrible fan support. We suck as fans and this team has a lot of guts.

  7. OK seriously, when did fan support get so bad? I can't believe the stadium is so empty.

  8. We'll take that penalty, thanks.

    Go BC!

  9. I think we can definitely win this game.

Louisville players are hovering around the heaters.

Since I couldn't make this game (but made sure my tickets were used) I can't gauge the crowd noise. But it doesn't seem to impressive on TV.

And I know a lot of those in the stadium will leave early.

  10. Grad students and Freshmen! :-)

  11. Missed PAT is no joke.

It's a disgrace to be the worst PAT Team in college football - maybe in history for all I know.

Is it always on the kicker?

  12. Why the hell is Howell not kicking? This loser has missed 4 PATs already!

  13. Touchback - BC Ball.

    Break for Louisville.

  14. Great stop - let's hope we can get the ball out of there.

  15. That pass/fumble was the weirdest thing I've ever seen.

  16. Late half defense strikes again. What a joke.

  17. Somehow the life has been sucked out of BC and we give up another score at halftime.

99 looked like a Dufus on that blocked punt.

Why don't we have real blockers on the punt team? I mean really? That's a serious question.

  18. Once again, our failure to convert on 3rd down is killing us.

My guess is #7 will be in the rest of the game.

  19. On a 3 man rush. Will Brown ever learn?

  20. Wow. That crap was hard to watch

  21. Gotta blame Dazz at this point for not correcting kicking. No excuse for missed PATs

No excuse for joke punt "blocking"

  22. Bc is extremely lucky to be down only 4. Out and out domination by Louisville.

Completely sucked the life out of the stadium and they get the ball to start the second half. I have already seen fans say "goodbye" and leave the stadium. It's cold but not too bad.

  23. What a disaster at the end of the first half. Clock management was terrible. You run and bleed Louisville's timeouts. The blocked kick was hard to believe. Three came through with two more standing there. That means that five players could have blocked the kick. What? A missed extra point, the seventh of the year, what? Addazio has the enthusiasm. His players are playing terribly. Parker is shredding the d backs. His so called wide recievers with the height can't catch a lick with "stone hands". They started out so well and then Petrino made defensive adjustments and blew them out of the water. Louisville doesn't look great. BC looks like a bunch of amateurs. It's back to letting Murphy throw. He can't throw but his receivers can't help. The second half will be a long one unless they can complete some passes. Hilleman looks great. Murphy running looks great. Louisville has figured out BCs Achilles and will eat them alive in the second half.

I think the holding on #70 killed the drive and radically changed the clock strategy. If there was no holding, the drive would have continued and BC would have loved the extra time

  25. For once I would have been in complete agreement with running out the clock.

For some reason Murphy went out of bounds, and then Day called for a pass when he should have run to eat up time.

A quick 7 for Louisville against some strange defense.

I am going to shut up in the second half to preserve my health.

  26. I don't know why I care so much. We're going to a shitty bowl no matter what and can't win the division. But, I traveled this far and did not come here to see a meltdown loss.

    ReplyDelete
  27. Ouch. Daz said himself. We are not a comeback team. And the D does not have it tonignt. Pretty sure Florida State will destroy our pass defense so our only hope for 7 wins is Syracuse.

    ReplyDelete
  28. Not sure why I'm still here but I love this team even though they frustrate the hell out of me.

    ReplyDelete
  29. Is Willis in the doghouse?

    ReplyDelete
  30. That blown timeoit may be critical

    ReplyDelete
  31. O line did not Dude up tonight.

    ReplyDelete
  32. Well at least I can flip the channel now. This game wasn't as close as the score. Louisville dominated then on both sides of the ball. Parker was a man amongst children.

    ReplyDelete
  33. 4 home losses. Wish we could play Syracuse on the road this year.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Outplayed and outcoached. Time to crank up Wade even against Florida State. Four interceptions is just horrendous. Murphy gave his best but it wasn't near good enough. BC was embarrassed.

    ReplyDelete
  35. tough game to watch...but there were some good moments... For example, We DID have a chance going into 4Q. but our OL sputtered, and Murphy just was terrible.

but imagine no punt fiasco, and well... woulda coulda shoulda...

with the continued kicking woes, it appears that Dazz is not attending to the details. He should be.
