You've had your turkey. You've put in the time with family. Now you need to plant yourself in front of the TV and watch BC's last regular season game. I am thankful for this season, but I will be a lot more thankful if we get the win today. Leave your thoughts and comments below.

Really getting excited for this game now. I was originally going to be in attendance, but as it turned out, I am smack-dab in the middle of moving right now.
ReplyDeleteMy tickets are in good use - and I hope everyone is wearing their long underwear/silkies - whatever you call them.
If the fans dress appropriately, they will be fine. In fact, these things are so comfortable now, I'd wear 2 pair of silkies under cordoroy pants, and plenty of layers, etc. (It has always amazed me how many fans show up for a game dressed inappropriately - in a case like today - underdressed).
I hope we get 35K for this game, but I'm afraid it will be an empty Alumni Stadium in sunny, 30 degree weather.
Go BC - blast through Syracuse today.
"I hope our fans and alumni are proud of our team," Addazio said.
ReplyDeleteYes, we are, Coach.
Thank you for your leadership, organization, enthusiasm and ability to instill pride.
I am proud of our team and our players - and our coaches and staff.
Go BC - get it done today. Don't let Syracuse get in your way. Achieve your goal today, guys and remain friends and associates for life.
We all know that "BJK" is a "glass half full kind of guy". Actually, I believe that his move to Atlanta is just a cover for his real secret deliveries on December 24. Someone needs to put GPS in elf shoes for a thousand miles around. Nevertheless, there is an echo singing "For Boston".
ReplyDeleteGreat! Don't let up for 60 minutes.
ReplyDeleteStill can't figure out why Willis does not get more touches on offense.
ReplyDeleteDefense gets better with each game. They are playing at a high level.
ReplyDeleteOffense struggling on 3rd down as they have all season. They must get better on 3rd down next year.
ReplyDeleteToo many pass plays so far. Not enough read options.
ReplyDeleteWhat is wrong with the offense today? They are really struggling.
ReplyDeleteBordner completely missed the block on that sack. I was worried about a letdown and were seeing it with the offense. Thank God the defense came to play.
ReplyDelete"We are." Sorry about the grammar error.
ReplyDeleteCan't blame the defense for this. They had to defend an extremely short field.
ReplyDeleteOffensive line has been atrocious. Very predictable play calling too.
ReplyDeleteCrap, why does Syracuse have our number? Every single fricken year!
ReplyDeleteJesus, how many high snaps is that? Just put Murphy under center.
ReplyDeleteMaybe that is why Willis does not get more touches.
ReplyDeleteDumb move by Asprilla.
ReplyDeleteCorrect that, great move by Asprilla!!
ReplyDeleteSyracuse thugs out in force.
ReplyDeleteGa v GTech is clean old-fashioned hate.
ReplyDeleteThis is closer to it.
O-line did not show up to play today. They are getting blown up.
ReplyDelete3rd and 17 and we are running???? WTF!
ReplyDeleteHmm. Missed kick. Shocking.
ReplyDeleteIs there someone playing on Friday nights coming in next yr?
Why is that clown still kicking? Put Howell in there. He's BC's best shot at making a kick these days.
ReplyDeleteAwful. Another missed field goal? Why are we so atrocious at home this year? I have never see a season like this.
ReplyDeleteThis would be a bad, bad loss. There is no way they should be even with us right now. BC better wake up or they are going to lose on Senior Day and put BC at risk for a losing season.
Bravebill, Howell missed the kick last week. We don't have a field goal kicker on our roster.
ReplyDeleteThankfully BC's defense is keeping the game close.
ReplyDeleteI was hoping that we'd get a comfortable lead today. No such luck.
ReplyDeleteSyracuse loves Ryan Day.
I hope BC does not run out of time here.
ReplyDeleteYeah I know he made one last week but he may be BC's worst kicker. I still think Howell gives then a better chance at FGs esp. anything over 30 yards.
ReplyDeleteKid of surprised BC is not using their timeouts here to get another shot on offense.
ReplyDeleteNice quick touchdown drive thankfully.
ReplyDeleteI feel a little better about this game but we are in a dogfight here. Really, really want BC to get a win for the seniors and to pay back Syracuse for decades of misery.
ReplyDeleteLooks like there's a decent sized crowd.
ReplyDeleteDid I read that right? Only 31 yards rushing for BC in the first half? Wow!
ReplyDeleteHuge swing there. Let's put this game away now.
ReplyDeleteAgree Bravesbill - ok D - pour it on for a 3 and out.
ReplyDeleteLet's get the ball right back.
Defense getting gashed on this drive.
ReplyDeleteSyracuse just loads the box on us.
ReplyDeleteThat's the way to loosen them up.
The offense has been completely dominated by the Syracuse defense today.
ReplyDeleteWhy pass on a 3rd and 3? All these sacks have killed BC's total rushing yards EB.
ReplyDeleteUsually, we keep pounding and pounding until the 4th quarter when defenses are completely worn down. Not sure that is going to work today.
ReplyDeleteI was going to say the same thing.
ReplyDeleteAnother failed 3rd down conversion.
ReplyDeleteWow, maybe luck is finally turning our way. That was a clear fumble by Alston. We got away with one.
ReplyDeleteWe lucked out on that "forward progress" call.
ReplyDeleteGT had a blatant call against them and Georgia ran 100 yards for a score - about 5 seconds after forward progress was stopped. It was actually a GT TD.
Camera guy is having a rough day.
ReplyDeleteNeed to get at least a field goal here.
ReplyDeleteThe monkey is slipping off, hanging on for dear life.
ReplyDeleteBig Jack, we were wrong. The formula of pounding and pounding finally loosened up this defense. Nice TD by Rouse.
I began a post in the 3rd Q that I guessed the object was to wear them out eventually.
ReplyDeleteBut it didn't look good at the time, so I cancelled it.
I still had faith though. :-)
Run it up on these bastards! Pay back!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteAddazio has more class than you and I do, Eagle. I wanted a TD!!!!! :-) :-)
ReplyDeleteProud to be an Eagle today.
ReplyDeleteProud of our team this year, even with the frustrating might have beens!
Well, Addazio is a class act.
ReplyDeleteGreat coaching job this year.
