There were many reasons why BC Baseball struggled for a few years and why the rebound finally came and the biggest issue was talent. This year saw talented players like Dunn make the leap. As long as BC keeps doing that, BC Baseball should be fun to watch.
As for Dunn's future, I think the Mets know what they are doing. They wouldn't select him this high if they didn't think they could sign him. Dunn did bypass MLB when the Dodgers drafted him out of high school. Given how the MLB and college rules go, this probably means he's headed to the pros.

College baseball is like high A ball.
He's unlikely to be in NY. It has happened, but for rare talents.
Dunn passed up the majors earlier because he was drafted in the 36th or 37th round so there's really no comparison there. Also, lets not forget that BC had a first round pick last year too (Chris Shaw).
Dunn ties Chris Lambert for earliest BC pitcher drafted.
A 19th overall pick will get quite a bonus. Congratulations to Justin.
He is obviously a good person in terms of the fact that his teammates are excited for him(video on the link). He is probably focused and team oriented. Along with the strong arm he has as much of a chance as anyone to make it to MLB.
The kiss on the his brothers(assuming brother)head is all you need to know. He also turned down the pro's for BC not LSU or Coastal Carolina. So he wasn't going to college for the party.
CT, I don't like you.
Knucklehead, your words. Empty yet satisfying. Odd.
