There are a ton of unofficial signs like that among others over here. My favorite was a BC vs GT sign that used the BC logo with the waving eagle that is usually reserved for the kiddie gear:)
Friend raised an interesting point that this is a BC home game (we had to bring all the equipment supplied by a home team - end zone markers, down and distance chains, etc.) yet "Georgia Tech" is painted in one of the end zones at Aviva.
Sigh.
ReplyDeleteno one got fired over that. it's college football in Ireland. If it's in the top 10 of sports Dubliners care about, we're lucky.

ReplyDeleteChicago: send along the pic if you see it again.
ReplyDeleteATL lives,! He really does exist.
ReplyDeleteThe "Georgia" and "Boston" parts are correct.
ReplyDeleteThey must be out of maroon ink in Ireland though.
Any pictures of ND posters from last year. Wonder if they got those 100% correct?
