I've never played QB, but is it really that hard to play one style one year then play another style of offense? The excuse making for Towles is titesome
Watched it again, 3 ncsu guys surrounded it on the ground, none actually had it, BC guy dives in and pops it out. BC recovers. They awarded possession early I guess.
i'm so conflicted part of me hopes they would lose to rid us of daz and bates yet i'm a staunch bc alum and fan and must in the end root for them to win---just like the pres election voting for the lesser of 2 evils!!!!!
This is why we have a massive ACC losing streak. You get a gift from your defense and are forced to settle for 3 points yet again. Not scoring those 2 TDs is going to come back to haunt us. Calling a run on that 2nd and 13 situation was ridiculous.
BC will always disappoint. ALWAYS. Just like the Cubs.
The only time in the 33 years I have been watching BC football where they did not disappoint was Flutie and Company in '84. They had the Miracle in Miami pass and the Cotton Bowl victory. Every team since has sucked me in and, ultimately, disappointed.
I won't be commenting today, as I'm going to the GT - Duke game.
ReplyDelete85 degrees in Atlanta today.
It's Homecoming and campus parking and tailgating opened at 7:00am.
What do you think of that, Brad. And my parking pass was $20.00 - and what do you think of that, Brad?
Go BC Players - beat NC State in spite of your AD and HC!
NCSU 36 BC 7
ReplyDeleteFigure we lose this one by 40
ReplyDeleteJesus. Towles starting.
ReplyDeleteLooks like Towles is starting. Mistake.
ReplyDeleteHere we go...
ReplyDeleteTowles will have a huge run on those read options if he keeps it.
ReplyDeleteGot to catch that. Drive killer.
ReplyDeleteHow many drops this season?
ReplyDeleteHas Addazio ever called a fake punt in 4 years? Ever?
ReplyDeleteTypical BC. 3rd and long. Give up a big completion. And throw in a free 15 for good measure.
ReplyDeleteTerrible on third down on D.
ReplyDeleteGot the stop.
ReplyDeleteFirst down! Drink!
ReplyDeleteI've never played QB, but is it really that hard to play one style one year then play another style of offense? The excuse making for Towles is titesome
ReplyDeleteJones made a great move, but oh, how did he fumble? Heads up play by Lowery.
ReplyDeleteChrist.
ReplyDeleteLosing is a habit. These guys are pros at making big plays and then losing the ball.
ReplyDeleteWow how the hell do they call that for NC State? These refs should be publicly executed.
ReplyDeleteHow does NC St get awarded that ball?
ReplyDeletelooked like BC recovered? what the deal
ReplyDeletehate Ron Cherry
ReplyDeleteMaybe best offensive play in last month ends with a turnover....
ReplyDeleteno replay of fumble either..no review ....southern justice
ReplyDeletePasqualoni taking over, is not a big deal. He called plays last week.
ReplyDeleteRouse..... omg! but penalty interference... phew...
ReplyDeleteThat has to be interference!!!
ReplyDeleteWatched it again, 3 ncsu guys surrounded it on the ground, none actually had it, BC guy dives in and pops it out. BC recovers. They awarded possession early I guess.
ReplyDeleteATl how do you know Pasq is calling defense? Isn't Reid upstairs connected by radio?
ReplyDeleteUh oh, do we need to respect Reid's privacy?
ReplyDeleteDefesne is looking decent today
ReplyDeleteNeed some points here.
ReplyDeleteD looks like they're up for it...maybe the offense can get something going to actually help them out.
ReplyDeleteBill, What have you heard about Pasqualoni was calling plays last week? Isn't kind of odd that your d coordinator is available, but not doing his job?
ReplyDeletenice throw
ReplyDeleteGreat throw there.
ReplyDeleteNice catch and gain. Keep those coming.
ReplyDeleteAnnouncerz said Reid has some health issue. Missed what exactly.
ReplyDeleteThat was a catch!
ReplyDeleterazzle dazzle... but good try
ReplyDeleteHave to score a TD.
ReplyDeleteUse the play action like we did against Georgia Tech.
ReplyDeleteNot a bad quarter. Needs seven here.
ReplyDelete0-0 ater 1. Result.
ReplyDeleteCome on need TD
ReplyDeleteHa, NC State should take the penalty.
ReplyDeleteBad play all together.
ReplyDeleteWhat? They didn't want to give us another shot at a TD?
ReplyDelete3-0 BC.
Sigh 3-0
ReplyDeleteDaz wins first Quarter. Time to Turtle
ReplyDeleteGreat job, D!
ReplyDeleteThe Wildcat...I guess we will try anything.
ReplyDeleteThese passes look sharp. Which is strange.
ReplyDeleteTowles had so much time. Why is he scrambling?
ReplyDeleteShovel pass was a great call.
ReplyDeleteAnd now he just scrambled into pressure.
ReplyDeleteWell this drive has collapsed nicely.
ReplyDeleteTowles killed this drive all by himself.
ReplyDeleteTowles flunked his QB class test on pocket presence.
ReplyDeleteCould really use a turnover here.
ReplyDeleteGreat call by NC State. BC sold out on the run and look what happened.
ReplyDeleteRemember when we used to use safetys?
ReplyDeleteBc takes risk on D, and pays for it
ReplyDeleteWell BC had the lead deep into the 2nd Quarter. Is that progress?
ReplyDeleteAs soon as senses pressure -- which is too soon by any standard - he loses his mind and makes bad decisions..
ReplyDeleteATL - yes an important moral victory to lead for so long
ReplyDeletealso, for Daz, beating the spread is also a win.. and that counts for this 'young' team
ReplyDeleteATL & CT - do 90% of southern women have blonde hair? every fan shot is blondes!
ReplyDeletewow!!! 60 yard TD
ReplyDeleteGreat play.
ReplyDeleteSMITH!
ReplyDeleteThe development of Smith's been Bright spot thus year
ReplyDeleteOur DBs seem clueless this year.
ReplyDeletenice blitz
ReplyDeleteHuge play by the D.
ReplyDeleteYES. Crushed him on 4th.
ReplyDeleteHate the play calling here. Get the ball at mid field after a turnover, you need to take a shot downfield.
ReplyDeleteThis comment has been removed by the author.
ReplyDeleteWow. Addazio went for it!!
ReplyDeleteHorrible 4th down call. What a waste of field position.
ReplyDeletestupid to go for it there
ReplyDeleteDaz is fighting for his job!!
ReplyDeleteYeah because they didn't get it.
ReplyDeletejust a ill conceived play
ReplyDeleteOverall the D is playing well.
ReplyDeleteThat entire possession was a waste. You have momentum, so go downfield once. No problem going for it on fourth down but it was too far for a qb sneak.
ReplyDeleteTowles is so awful.
ReplyDeleteTowles makes so many poor decisions...
ReplyDeleteI noticed the blonde thing, too. Yeah, strange.
ReplyDeleteOC is ballin' out on the playbook.
How many times can he ground it this game?
ReplyDeleteedmonds: every 6 minutes
ReplyDeleteIt looks like Towles is always falling backward while throwing now.
ReplyDeletesuddenly Towles starts clicking...
ReplyDeleteThe WRs and TEs are bailing Towles out.
ReplyDeleteI am liking all these passes. Keep the foot on the accelerator.
ReplyDeleteGross. Knoll didn't even have a chance. This is why they constantly lose.
ReplyDeleteSo...call timeout and leave State with over a minute to play with? The hell?
ReplyDeleteThat was a mess. Especially considering the timeout.
ReplyDeleteThings that make you go hmmmm. This has got to be at least 3 games in a row where Daz has done this.
ReplyDeleteBC gets away with holding WR??
ReplyDeletepick it off
ReplyDeleteblock that kick
ReplyDeleteblock that kick
stop tat 4th
ReplyDeletesweet
ReplyDeleteWhat a weird final two minutes.
ReplyDeleteATL - leading at half is a moral victory
ReplyDeleteis this BC first lead in ACC in first half?
I hope someone other than Daz is keeping track of downs, distance, and who gets the ball coming out of halftime. That was pretty embarrassing.
ReplyDeletelotta coach gibberish
ReplyDeletesaying nothing at all, except we will stick with our plan and make no adjustments..
I don't dislike Daz. I just wished he coached better.
ReplyDeleteBad way to start the half.
ReplyDeleteGood start to the half...nice kickoff...
ReplyDeleteAs I keep saying. Bring pressure!!!
ReplyDeleteNo way they can ovverturn that fummble
ReplyDeleteNeed seven here!
ReplyDeleteI'm starting think we can win. I am setting myself up for disappointment
ReplyDeletei'm so conflicted part of me hopes they would lose to rid us of daz and bates yet i'm a staunch bc alum and fan and must in the end root for them to win---just like the pres election
ReplyDeletevoting for the lesser of 2 evils!!!!!
Oh wait. Maybe not
ReplyDelete2nd and 13 and they are running the ball?? Huh??
ReplyDeleteWhat a wasted possession. Five runs and one bad pass.
ReplyDeleteThis is why we have a massive ACC losing streak. You get a gift from your defense and are forced to settle for 3 points yet again. Not scoring those 2 TDs is going to come back to haunt us. Calling a run on that 2nd and 13 situation was ridiculous.
ReplyDeleteHave to get 7. Inability to punch it in will kill us just like it always does when we actually manage to keep it close
ReplyDeletePICK!
ReplyDeleteWhy is this clown still the quarterback???
ReplyDeleteAddazio, you moron!!
pick...
ReplyDeleteHuge, huge play.
ReplyDeleteTowles is going to cost Addazio his job.
ReplyDeleteThis is clearly out of bounds
ReplyDeleteThat's the game. Another ACC loss.
ReplyDeleteYou have to be kidding me
ReplyDeleteThat was indisputable evidence?
ReplyDeleteSnatching defeat again from the jaws of victory.
ReplyDeletePut Wade in. Why not?
ReplyDeleteBC will always disappoint. ALWAYS. Just like the Cubs.
ReplyDeleteThe only time in the 33 years I have been watching BC football where they did not disappoint was Flutie and Company in '84. They had the Miracle in Miami pass and the Cotton Bowl victory. Every team since has sucked me in and, ultimately, disappointed.
Gotta put something together
ReplyDeleteFace mask. Bull shit Ron cherry sux
ReplyDeleteAs predicted, settling for those 2 redzone fieled goals is now haunting BC.
ReplyDeleteDark. Very dark EB
ReplyDeleteI'm still in shock that we actually made the FGs. The FG kicking PTSD from past seasons is still very real.
ReplyDeleteThey should do away with field refs and put them all on tv monitors. Would speed up the game.
ReplyDeleteYeah. It's coming back
ReplyDeleteI think that is probably game.
ReplyDeleteGot lucky on that series
ReplyDeleteCherry is saving us and killing us...it works both ways.
ReplyDeleteBailed out big time by that ineligible receiver downfield.
ReplyDeleteAnd we burn a TO on their punt? smh.
Except he makes up the BC penalties - Fake face mask. No recovery on funble
ReplyDeleteGreat job Addazio! Now you have 2 timeouts left for that final game winning drive.
ReplyDeleteCherry inserts himself into games too much. Effects wins/loss.
ReplyDeleteHas been that way for years. Terrible
Need FG here. (Can only hope for so much)
ReplyDeleteTowles throws so many too high.
ReplyDeleteTowels must be blinded by sun. Way off on passes
ReplyDeleteYou have to give your guys a chance, dude. Crazy.
ReplyDeleteJust turned to the Louisville game. Jackson is amazing! Can't wait to see him live at Alumni next week.
ReplyDeleteWade must be horrific if he can't beat out Towles.
ReplyDeleteGreat catch by Sweeney.
ReplyDeleteJust sneak it.
ReplyDeleteBad spot.
ReplyDeleteWhy is every 3rd short treated like goal line stand ?
ReplyDeleteWait. I was just surprised by edge rush.
Ha.
Complaint withdrawn
This offense is like watch to rats fuck behind a 7-11
ReplyDeleteAnother drive-killing penalty
ReplyDeleteTowles can't hit the simplest of passes. So inaccurate.
ReplyDeleteHope beck not hurt. Looked nasty
ReplyDeleteNeck
ReplyDeleteToo bad for Walker. That looks bad.
ReplyDeleteI also cannot believe we tried to ice their punter.
ReplyDeleteWe are in FG range!!!
ReplyDeleteNo ice of punter.
ReplyDeletePunt return team not fully set up.
broken record, but, really have to get a td from this.
ReplyDeleteThat was a great call!
ReplyDeleteTRICKERY!
ReplyDeleteNice play.
ReplyDeleteWow 2!
ReplyDeleteOC crushing it
ReplyDeleteI am enjoying BC football. Been a long time
ReplyDeletePlay to win Daz. Please
ReplyDeleteNow, defense, please stop them.
ReplyDeleteThe letdown is going to be crushing.
ReplyDeleteHold'em D.
ReplyDeleteThe first ACC win or perfect set up for disappointment?
ReplyDeleteThat is the question
Fuck
ReplyDeleteAnd, like typical BC, they give up a massive return and lose the kicker
ReplyDeleteFuck as to knoll hurt too???
ReplyDeleteLosing is a habit and these boys are hooked on it like heroin.
ReplyDeleteWow. Dissappointment is coming so fast.
ReplyDeleteUncatchable.
ReplyDeleteW0W3!!!!
ReplyDeleteThere we go
ReplyDeleteWow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
ReplyDeleteYESPICK!!!!
ReplyDeleteI think we are going to win! I think I might have to partake in a celebratory beer. I'm in shock.
ReplyDeleteNice win. On the road. Daz back for another yr!
ReplyDeleteWhat is this?! A VICTORY formation?!
ReplyDeleteYay. Great win. !! Finally.
ReplyDeleteThat's a big weight.
ReplyDeletePasq and loeffler. - ok Daz too - get it done.
ReplyDeleteWe won? CALL THE LAWYERS - EXTEND ALL THE CONTRACTS!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteMVP to the OC.
ReplyDeleteSaturdays haven't felt so nice in quite a while
ReplyDeleteGot to give the devils their due. Great game all around!!! Coaches actually performed, notwithstanding the atrocious calls!!! Go Eagles!!!!
ReplyDeleteDaz will be back for two years now!
ReplyDeleteGreat win on the road..congrats to entire program and players..give Daz his due..happy for the players
ReplyDelete
