In-game comments post: Louisville

We are playing an elite offense and elite QB. Will it be another blowout or can BC pull off a shocker?

  2. Hmm. That WAS quick.
4th best defense....except against good teams.

  3. The defense actually looked good for the first two plays then wham bam. It's already over. Reid is back and is organized but not unpredictable like Pasqualoni. What was built in a week under Paz who echoed Brown will now be swept away in a tsunami.

  4. Did we wake up yet?

    ReplyDelete
  5. Glad I stayed home. Season tix holder and I have been to one game. Get a real program and I will come back. First get rid of the coach.

    ReplyDelete
  6. That was quick again. I wonder what BC's defense would be ranked if you take out the Wagner and Buffalos of the world.

    ReplyDelete
  7. Gameday chose Bama-LSU over this?

    ReplyDelete
  8. i expected that bc might get swamped but the defense is making is making this too easy.you would expect that the D would key on Jackson but they look clueless right now in their scheming.

  9. First game at Alumni in 2 years. Stadium is half full. BC 5-0 kicked is out of the tailgate at 11:50 and you can't go back no matter how bad the score. Fascists! BC looks awful but after 49-0 against Tech, this is not surprising at all

    ReplyDelete
  10. Just imagine the after party at UL!

    ReplyDelete
  11. What channel is this debacle on?

    ReplyDelete
  12. Georgia Eagle, it's on ESPN2.

  13. Ever to excel baby except in:

    Football
    Hoop
    Hiring coaches
Spending from massive endowment in an equitable manner
    Facilities upgrades
And of course, game day football experience.

Good to hear the "see no evil" BC adm. and nazi like state cops are still working together to ensure the poor saps who go to these games have the worst time possible.

    ReplyDelete
  14. That's 45 yards of penalties.

    ReplyDelete
  15. But the BC sycophants on this board will continue to deny there are any problems.

    ReplyDelete
  16. Hey at least they're winning the time of possession. Isn't that Daz's ultimate goal anyways?

    ReplyDelete
  17. I never pick on kids, but Isaac Yiadom should not be on the field. He just gets abused in the secondary every game.

    ReplyDelete
  18. I thought we were "too negative?"

    ReplyDelete
  19. On pace to give up over 80 points and 800 yards. Louisville needs to keep the pedal to the metal.

    ReplyDelete
  20. fascinating our players have gone from drop and pout, to catch and fumble

    ReplyDelete
  21. this is reaching beyond embarrassment mode. Louisville must feel like they are playing some Div 3 cupcake team on their schedule.

  23. I find it hard to believe that Leahy and Bates can watch this game and not be embarrassed.

    ReplyDelete
  24. Well we're such a young team, so....you know.

    ReplyDelete
  25. this is appalling

and the scum bag on the other sideline will run up the score to 84 if he can

    ReplyDelete
  26. I thought one win changed everything?

    ReplyDelete
  27. if you look at our defense vs conference play compared to all others in conference play (e.g taking out FCs, MAC etc), BC's defense is 57.

announcer like the theme of a "top 10" defense -- as some one just said, yeah top 10 against chumps

    ReplyDelete
  28. whne Daz bears UConn and Wake, he is a hero. Never mound he can't compete against decent ACC teams

    ReplyDelete
  29. get daz out.

    we are just so bad.

    ReplyDelete
  30. Can we just bench Towles, please?

    ReplyDelete
  31. Normally, I can find glimmers of hope and silver linings in our losses. That hasn't been the case this year. All of a sudden I'm wondering if yard work is a better alternative to watching the game.

    ReplyDelete
  32. Has there been a positive for us this game?

    ReplyDelete
  33. Maybe Petrino will let us shorten the second half

    ReplyDelete
  34. Saw this coming from a mile away. I figured same score as Clemson. Maybe Louisville will try for the biggest point differential.

    ReplyDelete
  35. Seriously, this has the makings of THE MOST embarrassing showing by a BC team EVER.

    ReplyDelete
  36. Had the privilege of hearing Coughlin speak after he was hired in 91. He said contrary to public opinion, BC has a big built in advantage in recruiting. Because there are only 2 FBS Catholic colleges left, BC should get the cream of the crop of catholic high school football players after ND gets their first pickings. With over 1,200 catholic high schools in the U.S., many being major football powers, he thought BC should be able to get a talented, academically eligible requiring class each year fairly easily.
So why don't we hire someone now who believes the same and uses this as the cornerstone of a plan to become a real program again?

    ReplyDelete
  37. Louisville needs to run up the score. BC fans need them to as well.

    ReplyDelete
  38. Can this PLEASE be the end of the towles experiment. It's Wade's time now.

    ReplyDelete
  39. So since the outcome is certain shouldn't we give someone else a nod at quarterback.... Just for the heck of it

  40. October 25, 2015;

Al Golden has been fired as head coach of Miami after more than four seasons with the Hurricanes, the school announced. He leaves following a 4-3 record in 2015 and a 1-2 ACC season. Miami lost 58-0 to Clemson in Golden's final game. Over the course of his tenure in Miami, he was 32-25 and 17-18 in ACC play.

"Coach Golden has led our program through some very difficult times and he has done so with class, integrity and a true desire to see our students succeed on the field, in the classroom and in the community." Miami athletic director Blake James said in a statement. "However, we have a proud tradition of excellence at Miami, not just in football but in all sports, and we want to compete for ACC and national championships. I simply believe that now is the time to bring the Hurricane Family together and rally behind our young men."

    ReplyDelete
  41. Jackson in a tent. Could be concussion protocol?

    ReplyDelete
  42. wade is just not very good

    ReplyDelete
  43. Wade has 2 more years in the program. Surely any experience is good experience for a guy who has time to grow versus leaving the ball in the hands of someone who isn't very good and is done after this year.

    ReplyDelete
  44. TC for AD and HC in 2017.

Can't remember if I have posted that before...

    ReplyDelete
  45. how bad must wade be that he doesnt even get a look in this game.

    ReplyDelete

  47. For heaven's sakes, can't just ONE of these players make a tackle. You know, as they've been TAUGHT. My heart goes out to Steve Addazio; the players' parents are going to try to pin this on Coach rather than see their little snowflakes get blamed.

I hope Coach Addazio kills Milano, Towles, and the rest of them in the post game press conferences and ESPECIALLY in conversations with NFL scouts. Serves them right.

    ReplyDelete
  48. 28 more points Louisville. You can do it!

    ReplyDelete
  49. Nice job by Coach Addazio pushing the young OL storyline; glad to hear the color guy practiced faithful stenography in his meetings with Coach this week. It takes a full five years to cleanse your program of the previous regime's holdovers, then you need to get your own guys in without any of that contamination. So really nine years.

    ReplyDelete
  50. Petrino hates Catholicism.

    ReplyDelete
  51. Heh at least Notre Dame lost again ha.

    ReplyDelete
  52. Nice going Johnson, Panicking and committing pass interference when you have DOUBLE COVERAGE!!! Yet another of Coach Addazio's winning calls that the players ruin.

    ReplyDelete
  53. L'ville Rivals recruiting not that great either. Not Clemson or FSU level.

    2012-2016 ranks: #43, #43, #36, #32, #35

    ReplyDelete
  54. awesome ND lost to Navy by 1 point. awesome!!!

    ReplyDelete
  55. Per announcer, poor Daz, every time he gets a league win (every 22 months), one of the conference powers comes in and ends his win streak (at one).
If BC would only go back to independent status and play Umass, Wagner, Mass Maritime, etc. they'd have longer win streaks. Course Daz would still want ACC money to coach against cupcakes.

    ReplyDelete
  56. Two questions:

    1) how low on the announcer depth chart do you have to fall to get a BC game assignment?
    2) is there a bigger sign of a loser than being ok with BC being the worst team in the nation as long as ND loses?

    ReplyDelete
  57. TGS are you talking to me?

    ReplyDelete
  58. Not sure how you made that conclusion TGS. I don't think anyone is fine with that.

    ReplyDelete
  59. i have been enjoying with pure schadenfruede ND losses since at least when Anthony Davis ran the 2d half kickoff back for a TD and went on the crush ND.....

    ReplyDelete
  60. the game we just watched was a disgrace.

BC was utterly uncompetitive on both sides of the ball.

    sucks.

    ReplyDelete
  61. Mod - can you update the stats after today for most points allowed ever and worst losses ever. daz now has 2 of the top 5/6 in both categories.

"this is my defense" - daz coming into this season

fire daz and bates today, appoint Washington as interim and whoever as interim AD.

    pathetic

    ReplyDelete
  62. Tuned in late - 52 to 7 and Towles is still in the game. Then we punt from the 39 yard line.

Finally, we get the ball with 3 min and maybe 45 seconds - he puts in Wade and other subs, and we run out the clock.

Let me say that again - we ran out the clock, without even giving these guys a chance to see what they could do.

Addazio is not a HC and he is not a leader of young men.

If I had the authority, I would fire Addazio tonight and inform Bates to clear out his desk, as he is not being renewed.

    This mismanagement has to stop.

    ReplyDelete
  63. Now mod I'm in 100% agreement with you on that! Nothing better than watching ND lose! Nothing!! The flawless execution, discipline and gameplan Navy has been playing with has been phenomenal! Truly a joy to watch!

    ReplyDelete
  64. We have a unique opportunity to give up more than 200 points combined to Clemson, VTech, Ville with FSU next week. Those would be 4 of the worst losses ever in program all in one season. After that we bounce back with two more games and could still somehow become bowl eligible.

    ReplyDelete
  65. All brought to you by Moe Leahy, Larry Bates and Curly Addazio. Our own three stooges. BC is no longer a laughingstock. We are like a program with a physical or mental disability that people are uncomfortable discussing. Everyone believes that we simply do not belong at this level anymore. And unless we institute major change - they are right.

  66. Good one Nap. Funny
