In the spirit of BJK, let's go seniors! I want a win, no matter what that portends for the future. I want a win for all those early mornings and late Fall nights, the gym time, the meetings, practice (we talking about practice?), travel, tough losses, etc.
I remember all the outrage when we didn't hire Diaco. I'm not saying we came out a winner from that transaction, but I'm certainly happy we don't have some sort of embarrassing, one-sided rivalry trophy with awful capitalization with a random opponent.
A win was expected but this was pretty convincing. All is for naught if we regress versus Wake next week. Nice to get a solid win with Ryan in the house.

ReplyDeleteYes, CT - go BC players - beat UCONN for our seniors and for all your teammates and for yourselves.
ReplyDeleteI can't find the game where I am, so I'll be checking on the progress.
And say a prayer for the guy who was honored a couple of weeks ago - Luke K.
That was (another) very bad concussion.
And win for him and for Matt Ryan today.
Go BC - beat UCONN.
BJK, it's an Internet game today depending on your market. Check ESPN3.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Danny.
ReplyDeleteLooks like same old, same old so far.
To a disappointing degree. 18 yard net punt, ole blocking scheme. Leaving our most explosive RB on the bench. Addazio is playing the classics.
ReplyDeleteCan't move the ball against uconn. TOB days don't seem so bad right now
ReplyDeleteHave I mentioned that using Smith in the Wildcat drives me nuts? He should be our QB!
ReplyDeleteThat was one of Towles' best decisions of the year.
ReplyDeleteGood job by Jones finding a spot.
ReplyDeleteYiadom having a great game.
ReplyDeletewhatever happens, please don't hire diaco as the next HC at BC
ReplyDeleteBest crowd of the year

ReplyDeleteTowles throws some wobbly passes for sure. That was a potential TD pass. I think Rettig would have made that, as an example - Wade maybe too.
ReplyDeleteGood job Flutie and Knoll. I forget who's hiking the ball.
Moore is having himself a great game too. Two big tackles at the line of scrimmage, and now an INT. (stupid penalty though as i'm typing).
ReplyDeleteTake a knee.
ReplyDeleteIt's amazing how we can blow 90 seconds.
ReplyDeleteBoooooooooooooooo! Pitiful.
LOLOLOL Miles Willis was looking at Addazio like wtfffffff
ReplyDeleteWear em out, BC.
ReplyDeleteThis game plan doesn't work against ACC teams, but we're getting away with it today.
9 man front waiting for Smith.
ReplyDeleteGreat throw and great catch.
6:35 off the clock.
5 yards on first down helps and then first down and then long pass.
ReplyDeleteNice job, team.
Wish we got TD, but once again, nice FG.
ReplyDeleteEven without the score, this is the best Towles has played this year.
ReplyDeleteDumb play by Harris.
ReplyDeleteWhere was this Towles all year? And why is he trying to save Daz's job?
ReplyDeleteI wonder why Matt Ryan didn't bring up Tom OB starting Quinton Porter over him for so long. Shiz was already awkward up there. Just go with it.
Loved the comment about Myles looking at Daz as we ran the clock out. I was thinking the same thing. "Yo coach whadda deal son?"
Lol, Mario.
ReplyDeleteHas Jeff Smith once thrown the ball in the wild cat? Or maybe im suggesting he be the Q
We got lucky there. #8 might could have avoided that hit.
ReplyDeleteWhats ya'lls take on Hilliman too? Can only blame the O-Line so much, right?
ReplyDeleteCan't figure #32 out compared to his true Freshman year.
ReplyDeleteHe looks slower and tentative. Maybe his injury was worse than we knew.
Agreed, Hilliman has never been the same since his injury. Not sure if it's a rehab/recovery issue, or if he's just tentative now.
ReplyDeleteFor once, I won't blame the o-line. Marked improvement whenever jones is in the backfield.
That looked like grounding to me.
ReplyDeleteGood review.
Pick six!
ReplyDeleteGreat day for the Seniors
ReplyDeletePick 6 - tremendous. We don't get many of those.
ReplyDeleteGreat job, Matt.
Fans should stay and enjoy!!!!!!
Go BC - roll it up a little now, if you can.
Darius Wade time? Lets get him experience that isn't just handoffs.
ReplyDeleteLet's get a safety.
ReplyDeleteI'm with BJK. Let's keep the foot on the gas and score again.
ReplyDeleteAnd again after that.
Close - good initiative. :-)
ReplyDeleteI guess it is fitting that they saved their best game for their last one at home.
ReplyDeleteKnoll!
ReplyDeleteScore, score, score.
ReplyDeleteKnoll, Knoll, Knoll.
ReplyDeleteWhy bring wade in on 4th and long just to handoff? Did Daz really pull Towles so he could get his senior day applause?
ReplyDeleteWhy run it on fourth down with Wade in lol
ReplyDeleteWow. Wade must be happy about that.
ReplyDeleteWe have class. 4 straight belly series runs.
Actually thats really disrespectful...Wade is going to transfer. I would
ReplyDeleteLet's get the shut out.
ReplyDeleteI agree Cvegas.
It's good to see the team and coaches happy.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on the victory and shutout, BC.
A win was expected but this was pretty convincing. All is for naught if we regress versus Wake next week. Nice to get a solid win with Ryan in the house.
ReplyDeleteFrank Leonard walking around wearing a backpack with 1 minute to go lollolol
