Women's Golf fighting for ACC Title this weekend

After one day of competition, the Women's Golf team sits at seventh overall in the ACC at +10. Duke put up the best numbers the first day and leads at -4. BC has two more rounds to improve their team score. While Women's Golf doesn't usually get attention around here, it would be nice to finish well in an ACC event this spring. Good luck to the women.

  1. This IS the redemption BC Sports has been waiting for. Thanks Golfers. (Fittingly around Easter too). Ha.

  2. We've been reduced to bragging about golf. Pitiful.

  3. Is golf still considered a sport?

God Bless them BUT seriously .... Golf?!

Finally a sport that Leahy can get behind. A lot of wealthy donors at the "clubs". Plus the free meals.

  4. We have been reduced to bragging that women's golf isn't in last. They've got zero shot at winning.

  5. Doesn't it say they are in 7th place? Nothing to brag about, "around here."

  7. AS noted from all of the comments, BC is really reaching in pushing for women's golf. It will be interesting to follow the decision by Father Leahy and to see if the Patriot League has indeed offered an invitation.

  8. We would be lucky to have a Patriot League AD. Gladchuck is in the top 20 in regards to pay. Highest non-power 5 if I remember correctly.

Were can we get AD's like that?
