SB Nation's Bill Connelly tweeted the below out this weekend. It seems like this is a preview his BC breakdown. The chart doesn't show anything BC fans don't know -- the offense stinks -- but it will be interesting to see who and where Connelly points the blame. It rightfully belongs to both Addazio and Loeffler. The two have a ton to prove this year.

Solid passing all through TOB era. Hasselbeck brothers, St Pieere, Peterson and Ryan. Four of the five were NFL QBs. Peterson rallied BC over ND in South Bend by throwing for over 300 yards. After the TOB recruit Ryan left the passing declined. In 2006 ESPN's Herbsteit and Fowler were doing a BC game where they declared that there were no quality QBs in the ACC that year. Matt Ryan was the BC QB. Talk about fake news. The networks were promoting Tebow and Troy Smith as the top QBs in the land. More fake news.
ReplyDeleteIn 2009, Tim Tebow was the quarterback for Florida with Steve Addazio as the offensive coordinator. Tim was 6 ft 3 and conservatively 245. The offense was spread option with Tebow running and passing for a td every game until the final loss to Alabama in the SEC Championship.---With a defense in the to 10 and an offense in the bottom 5 of 130, Addazio has to do something different. Everyone is rooting for BC.----It looks like he is playing not to lose in order to preserve his job. Scott Loeffler was unleashed in the first half of the bowl game. The second half reverted.---One description of insanity is to keep doing things the same even though it is not working.
