In-game comments post: UConn

We've got UConn at Fenway. It should feel special. I hope it is a blowout. Let's get things back on track.

  1. Addazio will still be 1-13 against ranked teams and 13-26 in the ACC after this game.

  2. Lose today and Daz is toast. That should not happen and BC should win big. I still think the success of this season comes down to the Syracuse game.

  3. Basketball better but still needs work.

WHY DOESN'T CHRISTIAN GET DANYA to work with Popovic and other big men???????

  4. Miami is finding out that you have to show up for games where you are heavily favored.

    Go BC - beat UCONN.

  5. On storrow drive, go BC!!

  7. Horrific crowd by BC fans..UConn has us doubled up..not allowed to bitch about Daz, no one cares

  8. This is not the start we needed.

  9. Nice catch by Cheevers. Would have been better to get the touchback.

  10. Addazio's team does not look ready. Wade does not look ready.

  11. Drive starts with D getting the INT. Wastes a great run by Dillon and calls a timeout on second drive only to miss the field goal...

Ladies and gentleman, I present you the Steve Addazio Era at BC in one drive....

  12. That kick was a bad idea.

    ReplyDelete
  13. No more FG attempts for anyone tonight.

    ReplyDelete
  14. What a mess on offense.

    ReplyDelete
  15. Shabby-
Because UConn is the home team, they were allotted 22,000 seats and BC got 7,000.

    ReplyDelete
  16. I for once am glad I am sitting on my coach.

    ReplyDelete
  17. COUCH, that is...

    ReplyDelete
  18. well that was an embarrassing 1st qtr. the offensive line has no push right now. would like to see a little more creativity on offense.

    ReplyDelete
  19. The team really believed in Brown.. You can tell he had a true command of the offense. These are the same plays but the difference is the QB

    ReplyDelete
  20. UConn is just staking the box. No respect for our O.

    ReplyDelete
  21. The ref got lucky on that call. He just guessed on the spot.

    ReplyDelete
  22. Tim - There are 15k empty seats and game is in Boston. BC fans don't care about the team so why do we bitch about the coach (who I think is horrible personally and I think should be fired)

  23. Bad spot, bad review, but whatever... great punt off the shin Knoll

  24. This is vintage Steve Addazio 2015. just awful so far

    ReplyDelete
  25. BC hockey is outscoring BC football right now.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Simple shit guys, PA jet sweep, backside TE seam... UCONN is 9-boxing. Wade can’t throw to the edge from the pocket so move them forward and side to side. Slip the sleeper in behind

    ReplyDelete
  27. Do that all game. UConn's secondary is garbage.

    ReplyDelete
  28. Wade getting some mojo going.. good

    ReplyDelete
  29. OK. Now just keep passing on UConn.

    ReplyDelete
  30. DWade4 for Heisman.

  32. From the Celtics game.

    WTF is going on?

    ReplyDelete
  33. not enough O is what is going on... but BC is getting more focused

    ReplyDelete
  34. I told you... focus by Dillon massive TD.. wow

    ReplyDelete
  35. Dillon incredible..will be best BC back of all time

    ReplyDelete
  36. That was Tecmo Bo Jackson-esque

    ReplyDelete
  37. what doesn't "Das Boot" kick out of end zone (or into) anymore?

    ReplyDelete
  38. how many times this announcer going to say 240 lbs..

    ReplyDelete
  39. good 2Q.... let.s roll in second half

    ReplyDelete
  40. Solid finish... disappointing not to get at least a FG there, but Loff is doing a poo job of disguise... we had plenty of time, but they went to pass only formations and Wade is programmed to check down with UCONN pressing.

We need Jim Grobe to design some plays in the sand.

    ReplyDelete
  41. 240 lb man again.....

    ReplyDelete
  42. That was how it should be every drive. Keep it going.

    ReplyDelete
  43. happy for hilliman, happy or hilliman

    ReplyDelete
  44. duffy's cliff led up to the monster ... who knew?

    ReplyDelete
  45. Game over. Rest Dillon.

    ReplyDelete
  46. Daz needs to go out and find another kicker. Ouch.

    ReplyDelete
  47. lichtenberg is back to being a head case

    ReplyDelete
  48. CELTICS! BOSTON COLLEGE!

    BOSTON STRONG!

    ReplyDelete
  49. enter the head case for the try

    ReplyDelete
  50. another miss
    ha ha ha

    ReplyDelete
  51. lichtenburg is mentally fried

    ReplyDelete
  52. Daz just burned Perry redshirt for a 1 yd handoff in a 40-3 game..omg

    ReplyDelete
  53. guy is sparkling clean white uni 44... fucked that one up

    ReplyDelete
  54. The timing on Perry was weird. Why then?

    ReplyDelete
  55. I seriously almost commented in the 3rd qtr that Daz logic would have him put Perry in this game to save Wade....what a tool.

    ReplyDelete
  56. sloppy 4th quarter.

    ReplyDelete
  57. Daz at the back of the huddle listening to Pasqualoni

    ReplyDelete
  58. Very sloppy late - like they know the game is over and are mailing it in. I can't believe we burned Perry's redshirt late in a blowout in the 2nd to last game of the regular season.

Lichtenberg has Steve Blass disease. He's brought back the excitement to the extra point.

    ReplyDelete
  59. screaming at a young assistant. shouldn't he be screaming at Pasqualoni?

    ReplyDelete
  60. and the Papa Smurf hat doesn't help

    ReplyDelete
  61. I’m pretty uneducated. Can someone please explain why BC would burn a redshirt in garbage time?

    ReplyDelete
  62. "ToTheHeights": The logic explained is that BC wants to use Perry in the bowl game. Because of the bowl game, there will be allotted a large amount of practice time after the end of the season. If he was red shirted, he would not get that real time practice experience. It was stated that Addazio talked this over with the parents of Perry. At least, that is the way that it was explained.---After today's game, the announcers conjectured that Brown may not make it back without lingering problems. Wade will be gone and Perry may be it. I believe that McDonald, as remarked by BJK, is the star of the future. The problem now is whether Addazio can take them to the next level and be able to coach the good recruiting prospects that have been brought it.

    ReplyDelete
  63. Nothing I saw today at Fenway, via CBS Sports Channel, changed my view that DAZ should be gone . He should have been gone last year, if a buyout could have been agreed upon.

We are supposed to be satisfied that we arrived at 6-5??? With a meaningless bowl game to follow??

    ReplyDelete
  64. Remember. The key is to schedule scrub ooc opponents and go to a bowl thereby justifying 7 win seasons. Also, furthermore, in addition, split Clemson’s bowl money. Yeah, that too.
