  1. Great but let’s put the cards on the table for BC
Who will be QB and is he ready to practice and play ?

This remains the un discussed issue.

    Brown?
    Fadule ?

  2. Brown will be ready by early August. It’s a 9 month recovery. QB’s don’t get hit in practice anyway

  3. He doesn't need to get hit to get hurt.

  4. The backup will play the first two weeks and they will start against silly Wake Forest with Brown ready to go if QB play is not going well. If Andover or McDonald are playing very well Brown will sit until he is 100% ready to go mentally and physically. May take 9 months if you are a star fish but a human takes 9-12 plus time building back faith in the knee.

  5. I’ve gone through 2 of these surgeries and recoveries (in the same knee) twice. I wasn’t a D1 athlete or 20 years old, nor did I have a personal trainer working me out every single day making sure I was hitting all the timelines necessary. I was fully healthy and participating in athletics in 10 months. Brown will be ready by August. He was on the field throwing during spring practice. Obviously this was done with him stationary, but he was upright and walking around without issue

  6. Mental recovery is another issue entirely. For some people they never lose faith in the knee. For others they never regain it. It will depend on his mental makeup. Even if 100% healthy, do not expect many fast twitch cuts, like the move that got him injured in the first place

  7. If the rookie qbs play well, Brown will continue to sit. The kid is not a super star - just better than the mediocrity that preceeded him.

  8. Pretty much. Let's hope it works out. You can't ride Dillon forever even in the Belmont for the Triple Crown. You still need a good (qb) jockey.

  9. Well, on the plus side, the QB questions give Addazio a ready excuse should they stumble this season.....the youth and injury stroylines are ready made.

  10. Really don’t want excuses.
    Hilliman was a big loss.

    Need strong team.
Ok to lose to Clemson but you gotta beat everyone that can be beaten.

  12. Watch the Center situation. Dazzler plays favorites more than Andrew McCabe at an FBI interrogation. Watch if Dazzler moves Petrula off center for Baker. That will mark the dumbest move of Dazzlers career and a mutiny, by the players that care.

  13. Daz will put Petrula at RT. Linstrom at RG. Baker at Center with Schmal and Monteiro on the left. It should work out if all are capable. Specific position shouldn't matter.

  14. Baker sucks. Petrula is the best center in college football. It matters.

  15. Petrula was head and shoulders above Baker at center. I'd like to see Ben keep that job.

  16. I’d like to see Petrula at Center and Dirstine at right tackle. I know he’s only a true freshman but if you watch his highlight film you can see he’s physically ready for the next level. He is a mammoth of a kid and way more athletic than someone should be at that size. The line has underperformed for the last 3 years with Baker at center. Performance only turned around when he got hurt

  17. The early Thursday night game at Wake Forest is listed as a key game/must win for each team.

It's a big challenge for us at this point.
