Watch Anthony Brown talk about being back

Because he's been sidelined with a knee injury, we haven't heard much from Anthony Brown. Friday he spoke to the media for an extended time. He didn't reveal much, but his presence and demeanor do show a level of confidence. I hope he is this calm and confident because the knee feels good and he's ready for a big year.

  2. I truly hope mr brown is back to one-hundred percent and improves from his freshman mistakes. If not, have those freshman qbs warming-up in the bullpen.

  3. Probably because he lives five minutes from campus.

As for Brown, great kid. See this is what is different about BC student athletes generally (not always).

  4. Nice personality and talent to go with it. I believe that he looked very good before his injury. The concern is that the injury was one of a "non contact" variety. He may have an innate physical flaw. I would say that he had suffered a slight injury previous from physical contact which then accentuated from physical stress on the knee. Therefore, he is hopefully just fine.---The question is just what type of receivers that he has beyond a very good White. There is the problem. Sweeney hopefully worked on his hands over the summer. He dropped plenty. White is their "go to" guy. He is very good but you need more than one receiver. Targeting him constantly leads to interceptions which appears to be exactly what started to happen after Brown was injured.

  5. We should hope Anthony Brown fully recovers lest we have another Coconut Grove incident. As I was waiting for Brad Bates to return from the dentists office, I spoke with John Fish who is the CEO of Suffolk Construction (top 200 on Forbes). He has a high hopes for AB this season and believes he will DO IT FOR BOSTON!

  6. Thanks Dr. JBQ, but the overwhelming majority of those types of injuries are non-contact.
