Might be 10,000 people there at kick off. Khead is the guy begging Daz on the sidelines for the most recent injury report. Needs to win back the mortgage money he lost last week in Purdue game.
Khead is an unemployed, degenerate gambler and a liberal douche, but then again liberal douche is redundant. Does have a PhD though, poor, hungry and dickless.
TGS, you strike me as someone similar to Anthony Brown. You are ok at whatever you do when there is no pressure but get hysterical and fall apart when the pressure is on. A Temple fan gager type.
Really, really bad. The interception was good. The run was ridiculous and then Walker. Kickoff return and then more of the same. The team is really sour. If they are blown out, you have to think about firing the Dazzler now.
Can't even get a crowd on Parents' Weekend. BJK, maybe you shouldn't be too surprised about the lack of the FG try. We haven't attempted a FG this season. You'd think Addazio would make recruiting a kicker at least a bit of a priority, but you'd be wrong.
I like when the announcers were saying, "Might run a fake here" on that punt to start the second quarter. If my memory serves me right, Addazio has never run a fake punt. Not once in 6 years! Inexcusable.
Some years back, when I lived in Columbia, SC, The Gamecocks had a stud running back. They used him way too much, and ended his career with horrific injuries.
AJ Dillon is a stud, but he is human. Addazio ran him 25 times in the first half.
Unfortunately after two weeks and one half of D1 competition the conclusion has to be that BC is average at best. Life and death to beat Wake which got smoked by ND, losing to Purdue badly which is a team that had been beaten by Eastern Michigan and showing no ability to stop Temple when they don’t shoot themselves in the foot. For perspective, Temple lost to Villanova who themselves were beaten by Towson. Really disappointed as a fan. Thought they would be undefeated heading into Clemson. And on an unrelated topic Clemson losing by 9 at home to Syracuse in third quarter
Re defense - I haven't watched #48 a lot individually. Let's remember, the guy had to put on a bunch of weight and he's still undersized for clogging the middle. This is not an attack on him.
But I hope #99 TJ Rayam can develop and step up. I hope #91 Jaleel Berry can progress and help out. We switched #56, 300 pounder Adam Korutz from DL to OL. Maybe should have left him there.
Exactly how? It was his job. They told he would start. He won all his games. They made him split time. Then they took his job That is exactly how. Should have let him transfer after last season.
Dillon should find out where he stands with NFL after the season. He should leave school if he will be a first or second round pick. Odds of a significant injury at BC are high because he touches the ball so much and even if he stays injury free, the wear and tear of carrying the ball so much for another two and a half seasons here will reduce the number of years he will play in the NFL and that is the only reason he (and other highly talented college players) is in school - to eventually play on Sunday
Make no mistake, while players have to make plays during the game, the continued lack of execution in the special teams phase is 100% a reflection on the coach. He either does not care about it or does not have an answer.
We are not deep enough or talented enough to ignore it. With injuries and targeting ejections, we can see execution special teams execution is as important as on offense and defense.
Sorry my mistake on Dillon. Should leave after next year then. Defense is bad. Front seven lack any semblance of speed and secondary makes too many mistakes. ACC isn’t very good this year is it. The Virginia Tech loss to Old Dominion last week at home was unbelievable. I read OD used a backup QB and they had been winless playing nobody. They had lost to Charlotte which was a team UMass beat handily.
It’s a merit system. He won the job last year. Won it out of camp this year. Didn’t play well to begin the year and got replaced by someone better. No one is entitled to be a starter.
Our defense is very suspect. 38 points should be enough to win most games. Not liking the timeout burned in the 3rd. Hope we don't need it, but the offense seems to have stalled out without Dillon in the game. I had high hopes for Brown, but he has not played well the past 2 games.
I like how Coach Addazio went with Tessitore on the PATs, rather than the kickoff specialist. Smart. Dad Tessitore makes for an excellent reference when you seek permanent studio gig with the WWL this offseason.
I think Coach should look to start working for them in the run up to Signing Day, to get a jump on any rivals.
Run on first down again when the entire Temple staff knows you are going to do it. That is why this team will always be losers with Addazio at the helm.
Is it me or does Z Allen look tired all year. Where are our young stud LBs. They’ve looked bad all year. Sebastian don’t ready to play. Honestly Torres has been decent. Thought he’d be our Achilles heel.
I feel much more comfortable about BC winning, but am I the only one not feeling really thrilled with this win?
The offense did put up 45 points, but it did not feel like they were wide open. They did amass 2 100-yard rushers. But the defense allowed 35 points. Granted, a couple were off turnovers defending short fields, but this will be a concern going into ACC play.
I'm not too concerned about Dillon. I'm 51 and I sprained my ankle in April and ran a 5k 10 days later. It's still a little sore months later but I have been running on it all summer. A much younger Dillon should recover quicker.
I hope you are right, eagleboston. A high ankle sprain can linger for months, as you know. And yes, AJ is young.
But they should have brought him into the locker room and commenced treatment immediately. Especially since they didn't (need to) use him after he got hurt.
I hope I am wrong, but this one is on the trainers and medical staff if AJ has problems going forward.
Dazz: It is McDonald time. Play your best passer at QB. QB stats were really bad today, and every completion was an adventure. Enough of following the herd with the “dual threat” fad. Let Dillon run. Let McDonald throw. He is a pro style, pocket passer with great anticipation and a quick release.
BC should have fired Daz 3 years ago. When he was hired, Atl posted a quote from someone at Temple saying..."Daz says all the right things, is a rah rah type of guy,but that fades, and his incompetence shows through." Please God fire this guy. Call Les Miles. Call someone who should be coaching in the ACC. I will be the first to write a check toward the $150M plan you presented.
Most fans with a team that's 4-1, with lots of seniors, would be optimistic about the rest of the season. Like the overwhelming majority, I'm pessimistic. Daz has shown nothing in 6 years that gives us any confidence. Consistent special teams issues, lack of playing the right personnel in the right places, poor play calling, and just being a stupid in game coach. There is a legitimate chance that BC may only win 1 or 2 more games all season. The calls will only grow for Daz's job. If we get blown out at home by Miami and/or Clemson, Jarmond will need to show he has cojones and make the right decision at season end.
Must win for Addazio. A convincing win would be nice.
ReplyDeleteGo BC!
This is Dazoshit's Rubicon.
ReplyDeleteI don't suppose the game is televised in Atlanta?
ReplyDeleteYes - ESPNU
DeleteNobody here. Last week sucked total buzzkill.
ReplyDeleteTGS likes Temple.
ReplyDeleteMight be 10,000 people there at kick off. Khead is the guy begging Daz on the sidelines for the most recent injury report. Needs to win back the mortgage money he lost last week in Purdue game.
ReplyDeleteKhead is an unemployed, degenerate gambler and a liberal douche, but then again liberal douche is redundant.
Does have a PhD though, poor, hungry and dickless.
Crowd noise is deafening.
ReplyDeleteI wonder how much Addazio has cost BC in attendance after last wek's head coaching performance?
ReplyDeleteTGS, Everything you say is wrong and a Temple fan.
ReplyDeleteOh boy!
ReplyDeletePeople taking their time
ReplyDeleteNo FG? Pitiful.
ReplyDeleteBut good play. :-)
ReplyDeleteTGS, you strike me as someone similar to Anthony Brown. You are ok at whatever you do when there is no pressure but get hysterical and fall apart when the pressure is on. A Temple fan gager type.
ReplyDeleteWe caught a break and capitalized on it.
ReplyDeleteLet's go Defense - step up the pressure.
AB really looks shaky and his throwing motion is terrible. Can you imagine having a so called big time program without a fg kicker?
ReplyDeleteThis team is weak. Half asleep on defense again. Pathetic.
ReplyDeleteWow on TV it sounds like that long run really silenced the crowd........
ReplyDeleteWhat a mistake
ReplyDeleteSpecial teams. Who knew?
ReplyDeleteReally, really bad. The interception was good. The run was ridiculous and then Walker. Kickoff return and then more of the same. The team is really sour. If they are blown out, you have to think about firing the Dazzler now.

ReplyDelete5 tacklers on AJ.
ReplyDeleteYou would think after 6 years dazoshit would come up with a respectable fg kicker. But we are talking about Dazoshit. Enough said.
ReplyDeleteThe crowd has filled in but it is quiet - contrary to the moronic comment by twitty TGS.
ReplyDelete#1 in the nation in missed extra points.
ReplyDeleteWhere's blogger "canttakeit'?
ReplyDeleteWe should be able to connect on some good, long passes with the way they are keying on the run.
ReplyDeleteIf we can't do it, this promising season is probably a mirage.
Get Glines some touches too - running or as receiver.
We are in trouble.
ReplyDeleteI don't think we are using AJ correctly, but he doesn't look like the guy from last year. Is he nursing an undisclosed injury?
ReplyDeleteI mean Temple - or any team knows when he will run.
2nd down and 10, they know it's a handoff and they have 9 guys waiting.
Addazio/Loeffler - cut the shit!
Temple is playing exactly how we should be playing.
ReplyDeleteTaking our coaching staff to school.
ReplyDeleteThis could be Addazio's last season, if not last game.
ReplyDeleteWe need an accurate passer in there - Perry or McDonald.
OK - I'm done for awhile. Someone else can take up the rant.
ReplyDeleteLet's run AJ into the 9 man stack, Addazio. Run the rock - and tell them we're going to do it - exactly when. Tip them off.
Have you got $ on the game, Addazio?
I like when the announcers were saying, "Might run a fake here" on that punt to start the second quarter. If my memory serves me right, Addazio has never run a fake punt. Not once in 6 years! Inexcusable.
ReplyDeleteran AJ into 10 that time.
ReplyDeleteThis young man, AJ is something. He is gang tackled on every play. They hit him low, medium and high.
ReplyDeleteWhat was that pass?
Longman for Heisman
ReplyDeleteGood kick.
ReplyDeleteClock management is pathetic.
. . . . Like TGS.
ReplyDeleteStop the presses - we made a field goal! Maybe the Tessitore era is over?
ReplyDelete25 carries for Dillon in the first half. He'll be pretty sore tomorrow.
The game really turned after the interception and losing 21-13. The receiver should have caught it. Looks like the team woke up.
ReplyDeleteBJK...done for awhile means 26 minutes. I think that qualifies.
ReplyDeleteI walked away and the whole game changed! :-)
ReplyDeleteSome years back, when I lived in Columbia, SC, The Gamecocks had a stud running back. They used him way too much, and ended his career with horrific injuries.
AJ Dillon is a stud, but he is human. Addazio ran him 25 times in the first half.
That borders on abuse by the Head Coach.
Go BC - put up 31 in the second half too.
Let’s face it. The BC defense sucks. Absolutely awful. This is a 6 win team at the most.
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately after two weeks and one half of D1 competition the conclusion has to be that BC is average at best. Life and death to beat Wake which got smoked by ND, losing to Purdue badly which is a team that had been beaten by Eastern Michigan and showing no ability to stop Temple when they don’t shoot themselves in the foot. ReplyDeleteKelly Bryant is an absolute idiot as well. Pout and then screw your team over.
ReplyDeleteOh no
ReplyDeleteOh no.
ReplyDeleteRe defense - I haven't watched #48 a lot individually. Let's remember, the guy had to put on a bunch of weight and he's still undersized for clogging the middle. This is not an attack on him.

Special teams. That's on the punter all the way.
ReplyDeleteSpecial Teams. Who knew?
ReplyDeleteWorse special teams in ALL of college football. Absolute disgrace
ReplyDeleteI loathe Clemson.
ReplyDeleteKelly Bryant got screwed. The hippie who took his job won't last long.
Good Brown on that move.
ReplyDeleteHow did Kelly Bryant get screwed exactly? He wasn’t very good.
ReplyDeleteGlines is a maniac. Absolutely love the player.
ReplyDeleteTemple is a trash team.
29 is a punk mother fucker. Like TGS.
28.
ReplyDeleteExactly how? It was his job. They told he would start. He won all his games. They made him split time. Then they took his job That is exactly how. Should have let him transfer after last season.
ReplyDeleteThat is exactly how.

ReplyDeleteI think Bryant made a bad decision. Time will tell.
ReplyDeleteTouchdown.
60s--he can't leave after this year. He needs to stick around another season.
ReplyDeleteIt is a bad decision now because the hippie got knocked out of the game today. Did they bring him back out?
ReplyDeleteRe AJ. I sincerely hope that his ankle injury doesn't nag him for the entire season.
ReplyDeleteHowever it feels now is one thing. How it feels tonight and tomorrow is another.
It might be best for him to be in the locker room getting ice treatment now, instead of remaining on the field.
Make no mistake, while players have to make plays during the game, the continued lack of execution in the special teams phase is 100% a reflection on the coach. He either does not care about it or does not have an answer.
ReplyDeleteWe are not deep enough or talented enough to ignore it. With injuries and targeting ejections, we can see execution special teams execution is as important as on offense and defense.
Does BC even have defensive backs? They get burned consistently
ReplyDeleteThat pass was ripe for an interception. What the heck happened? Allen almost got that one blocked.
ReplyDeleteSorry my mistake on Dillon. ReplyDeleteThese passes should be defended.
ReplyDeleteIt’s a merit system. He won the job last year. Won it out of camp this year. Didn’t play well to begin the year and got replaced by someone better. No one is entitled to be a starter.
ReplyDeleteI do love the runs up the middle on 3rd and 8.
ReplyDeleteAnyone have an ETA on when it’s going to be beautiful?
ReplyDeleteOur defense is very suspect. 38 points should be enough to win most games. Not liking the timeout burned in the 3rd. Hope we don't need it, but the offense seems to have stalled out without Dillon in the game. I had high hopes for Brown, but he has not played well the past 2 games.
ReplyDeleteWhen HCRD’s Eagles score their first TD next season.
ReplyDeleteIs BC still Avery talented football team.
ReplyDeleteI’m think no.
This is another sad showing by the D
Waiting to see how/if coaching decisions and strategy end up costing them this game
ReplyDeleteTime for sacks and pic off
ReplyDeletePut these jokers away
I like how Coach Addazio went with Tessitore on the PATs, rather than the kickoff specialist. Smart. Dad Tessitore makes for an excellent reference when you seek permanent studio gig with the WWL this offseason.
ReplyDeleteI think Coach should look to start working for them in the run up to Signing Day, to get a jump on any rivals.
I understand Coach is sweating, but he should have stuck with Tessitore through the game. His Dad is in da house and was mentioned on the broadcast.
DeleteOne more win over Temple really won’t matter when he interviews in Bristol. Not worth it to risk the relationship.
Hate the announcers. But needed to make it a completely horrible experience. Uggghh
ReplyDeleteThis defense is horrible. And the offense has been struggling too. I fear this game is going to come down to the wire.
ReplyDeleteWatching the end of Syracuse-Clemson.
ReplyDeleteI have not been impressed with Sebastian at CB. I think Cheevers is on the other side but why isn't Torres covering where Sebastian is?
ReplyDeleteAddazio's job is on the line.
ReplyDeleteBut trust him BJK, it’s coming together...And when it does it’s going to be beautiful....
DeleteWatch, dumbass Addazio will try to run out the clock with 9 minutes left. They need to be aggressive and get one more score to ice this.
ReplyDeleteWatch 330 pound block #48
ReplyDeleteI don't see this team winning another game.
ReplyDeleteCan we win? We have doubts if BC is good enough to beat lowly Temple at home in 4Q
ReplyDeleteThat is freakin’ unbelievable.
Remember Temple lost to both Villanova and Buffalo this season. Armstead has more yards rushing today than he did in those 2 games combined....
ReplyDeleteI sure hope our guys can hold on to win this one...
We could definitely lose this game because of what?
ReplyDeleteClemson drove the length of the field with their 3rd string QB to win their game.
Can we go on a drive to help win this game?
Or foldaddazio?
RIDE THE BUM AKA DAZZO-SHIT OUT OF TOWN ON A RAIL.
ReplyDeleteHOW CAN THERE ANY LONGER ABOUT THIS DASTARDLY LOSER ?????????
LET THE ASSISTANTS TAKE OVER
THE STENCH IS OVERPOWERING !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Do these kids have the will to win ? Does it look like.
ReplyDeleteWow.
And really not even surprising that we find ourselves in this spot.
*dies not look like it
ReplyDeleteSyracuse was supposed to be a definite win!
ReplyDeleteDisgraceful call.
ReplyDeleteRun on first down again when the entire Temple staff knows you are going to do it. That is why this team will always be losers with Addazio at the helm.
ReplyDeleteOMG this team is bad. I can't watch this anymore.
ReplyDeleteO Line needs to block.
ReplyDelete77 holds and then gets pushed right back into the QB.
Petrula back to Center, Addazio.
Stop playing favorites.
3 and out.
And, of course dumbass Addazio blew a critical timeout in the 3rd quarter, as he has done in every close loss the past 3 years.
ReplyDeleteDaz will nowput in AB to save his own ass and without regard to his injury. It the desiatate hour after the march down and score
ReplyDelete#77 is too light for the position and not good enough anyway.
ReplyDeleteI like the guy, but as a graduate captain/assistant coach.
Let's go Addazio - make the tough decisions, which really aren't that tough.
Hold on BC - but Temple wants it more.
The offense needs a spark. Put in Perry. The guy is more elusive and I think he throws the ball better.
ReplyDeleteCould this game take any longer? Let’s cut down on some of these commercia breaks ESPNU.
ReplyDeletePic off
ReplyDeleteDo it!!!!
A. Zach Sach. Nice
ReplyDeletePhew .....a stop. Finally.
ReplyDelete95% chance they run it up the middle on first down.
ReplyDeleteHow did you guess?
DeleteLook for Daz running now. Groan
ReplyDeleteIs it me or does Z Allen look tired all year. Where are our young stud LBs. They’ve looked bad all year. Sebastian don’t ready to play. Honestly Torres has been decent. Thought he’d be our Achilles heel.
ReplyDeletePlay to win now forget playing not to lose
ReplyDeleteWatch — this will come down to us having to hit a FG to win.....
ReplyDeleteJust for you BB.
ReplyDeleteFuck
And again in second down.
ReplyDeleteAt least that one went outside.
ReplyDeleteLiking Glines. Got that something extra
ReplyDeleteAJ should have been brought into the locker room immediately for treatment.
ReplyDeleteThat's training/medical mistake. Stupid.
On a positive note, Glines playing solid in relief.
ReplyDeleteOf course when we get first downs we don’t let the clock run.
ReplyDeleteWe need 7, not 3.
ReplyDeleteGlines ran into 11 on that one.
ReplyDeleteWhy are they snapping the ball so quickly given score and time of game
ReplyDeleteJBQ - we need the jump pass - the Tebow jump pass. :-)
ReplyDeleteGlines got in in spite of the coaches.
ReplyDeleteStill have to stop them.
ReplyDeleteGood for Glines. Big catch vs Wake and good fourth quarter running.
ReplyDeleteIncredible this kicker hasn’t been kicking extra points all season
ReplyDeleteI feel much more comfortable about BC winning, but am I the only one not feeling really thrilled with this win?
ReplyDeleteThe offense did put up 45 points, but it did not feel like they were wide open. They did amass 2 100-yard rushers. But the defense allowed 35 points. Granted, a couple were off turnovers defending short fields, but this will be a concern going into ACC play.
To eagle Boston. They aren’t very good but the ACC is weak. We shall see
ReplyDeleteI'm not too concerned about Dillon. I'm 51 and I sprained my ankle in April and ran a 5k 10 days later. It's still a little sore months later but I have been running on it all summer. A much younger Dillon should recover quicker.
ReplyDeleteIs this the longest non-OT game in BC history?
ReplyDeleteI hope you are right, eagleboston. A high ankle sprain can linger for months, as you know. And yes, AJ is young.
ReplyDeleteBut they should have brought him into the locker room and commenced treatment immediately. Especially since they didn't (need to) use him after he got hurt.
I hope I am wrong, but this one is on the trainers and medical staff if AJ has problems going forward.
Congratulations, Ben Glines and AB and AJ and Zach and Team!
ReplyDeleteDazz: It is McDonald time. Play your best passer at QB. QB stats were really bad today, and every completion was an adventure. Enough of following the herd with the “dual threat” fad. Let Dillon run. Let McDonald throw. He is a pro style, pocket passer with great anticipation and a quick release.
ReplyDeleteEddie I agree 100%. If they aren’t going to use the dual threat then why not play your most accurate passer? Simple decision...
ReplyDeleteBC should have fired Daz 3 years ago.
ReplyDeleteMost fans with a team that's 4-1, with lots of seniors, would be optimistic about the rest of the season. Like the overwhelming majority, I'm pessimistic. Daz has shown nothing in 6 years that gives us any confidence. There is a legitimate chance that BC may only win 1 or 2 more games all season. The calls will only grow for Daz's job. If we get blown out at home by Miami and/or Clemson, Jarmond will need to show he has cojones and make the right decision at season end.
