The first few minutes are looking great. What's up with the bell ringing after scores? Is that a new thing? I don't recall that when I attended a game Alumni last season.
I agree that they should score as much as possible. Louisville has talent and potential but they seem out of sorts and uninspired. Let’s keep them that way.
I am following the game on Gamecast while finishing up some work. I may have to find it on at a bar for the second half if it is close. Then again, based on the last five minutes, it may not still be close at that point.
Defensive play calling is terrible too. Corner plays 10 yards off the slot receiver then covers the deep ball. Linebacker trying to cover the slot receiver on out patterns. He gets beat for a ton of yards every time.
Six years of this shit. I want Dazoshit gone. I don't care if they manage to squeak out a victory. Worse, do you see how the announcers are gushing over Dazoshit? Obviously have their heads up their asses.
If it's a close game, we're hosed. He'll make bad play calls, manage the clock poorly and/or our clown show that is a kicking game will miss a key kick. We need to regain a 2 score lead to Daz-proof the game. Otherwise, we'll muck it up.
Blindly happy is our Athletic Department. Sorry you need Type A aggressive and assertive people there to make decisions. Addazio should have been fired in 2016.
The offense needs a spark. Brown has struggled for weeks now. All of the great coaches make quarterback changes when necessary. You are losing to a team that is a 14 point underdog. If that does not scream QB change, I don't know what does.
Btw, I wouldn’t hate an updated version of the throwbacks as the full time uni. The gold pants work, love the block logo on the shoulder pads, but the numbers get bunched on most of the jerseys, making them kinda useless. Maybe bigger numbers without the gold outline.
These coaches are idiots. Everyone knew Bailey was going to get the ball on that 3rd down. It would have been the perfect time to do play-action to the tight end, which has worked on multiple touchdowns this season.
Oh, and Stup-dazzio blows another 3rd quarter timeout in a tight game. You do not do that! You may need those TOs for a final drive in the 4th.
Great play call on fourth and one. As this game looks like it will be life and death to win, look at Louisville’s other scores this year including giving up 66 points to Georgia Tech last week.
When this game is over, this may be the most undisciplined, unimaginative, inconsistent, frustrating 5-2 team to ever be one game away from bowl eligibility.
It’s not #EverToExcel or #DecideToFly, it’s #ScrambleToDoJustEnoughToNotGetFired...
Louisville's D is awful. If we continue to throw short of the sticks on 3rd down against even average D's BC is going to get destroyed during the rest of the season.
One positive is that they are holding together without Dillon. If BC had punched in a few of the goal line attempts and avoided giving up so many points off turnovers this game wouldn’t be close.
NC State loss looms large from a record standpoint although upcoming games against Miami, Vtech, Clemson likely to bring BC back to the pack in the Coastal division.
Miami and Virginia Tech very beatable. ACC is weak this year except for Clemson. Other teams that are usually good such as Florida State, Miami, Louisville, and Virginia Tech all having down years. Pitt and UNC not any good and Syracuse very mediocre. But BC hasn’t played a team yet they should have lost to so I would expect several more losses in addition to Clemson. They will play call their way into losses and/or shoot themselves in the foot with mistakes.
Crud, the last time we played a team that had lost 3 in a row, we got annihilated.
ReplyDeleteThere’s about as much activity here as there is in the stadium.
ReplyDeleteThe first few minutes are looking great. What's up with the bell ringing after scores? Is that a new thing? I don't recall that when I attended a game Alumni last season.
ReplyDeleteGood start. Need to keep up the pressure. Daz is already thinking about prevent defense.
ReplyDeleteSTL, I was at Alumni 2 years ago when Petrino jacked up the score. No sympathy for him.
ReplyDeleteBC cannot cover anyone.
ReplyDeleteCant stand that Petrino SCUMM
ReplyDeleteI agree that they should score as much as possible. Louisville has talent and potential but they seem out of sorts and uninspired. Let’s keep them that way.
ReplyDeleteHere we go again.... Glines is an outside guy. Get Bailey in there.
ReplyDeleteLooks to me like he is down. With our horrid defense, you do not want the offense to give these guys a chance.
ReplyDeleteThat's a touchdown. Man, turnovers are a killer.
ReplyDeleteWhat an awful overturned call there.

ReplyDeleteJesus christ
ReplyDeleteBC is hilariously bad at this point. All starts at the top.
ReplyDeleteOur D is interfering on every pass.
ReplyDeleteLeave it to bc to make a horrendous team look good.
ReplyDeleteFFS.
ReplyDeleteI am following the game on Gamecast while finishing up some work. I may have to find it on at a bar for the second half if it is close. Then again, based on the last five minutes, it may not still be close at that point.
As much as I despise Addazio, this is on the BC players not protecting the ball.
ReplyDeleteNow, watch the offense go cold.
Defensive play calling is terrible too. Corner plays 10 yards off the slot receiver then covers the deep ball. Linebacker trying to cover the slot receiver on out patterns. He gets beat for a ton of yards every time.

ReplyDeleteCan bc give it away?
ReplyDeleteThey need to fire whoever is in charge of the down and distance. They just flashed up 3rd and goal when BC had 3rd and 5 from the 35
ReplyDeleteNice play calling there. Who couldn’t see that third down play coming. About to go down now.
ReplyDeleteOur team isnt mentally strong. Absolutely crazy seeing our team is mostly seniors
ReplyDeleteDAZZO SHIT FOOTBALL AT IT'S BEST
ReplyDeleteTIME FOR THE DAZZO LOVERS TO GO INTO THEIR PATIENCE CHA-CHA>
OH WELL WHAT CAN YOU DO ?????????? SONG AND DANCE
Might as well root for a loss at this point. Need the clown show to go.
ReplyDeleteSix years of this shit. I want Dazoshit gone. I don't care if they manage to squeak out a victory. Worse, do you see how the announcers are gushing over Dazoshit? Obviously have their heads up their asses.
ReplyDeleteWe need to score a TD here
ReplyDeleteIf it's a close game, we're hosed. He'll make bad play calls, manage the clock poorly and/or our clown show that is a kicking game will miss a key kick. We need to regain a 2 score lead to Daz-proof the game. Otherwise, we'll muck it up.
ReplyDeleteWhy do they continue to throw 3rd down passes yards in front of the first down?
ReplyDeleteBrown was horrible on that 4th down pass. I'm still not sold on him. You have to move the ball when you get turnovers.
ReplyDeleteBad 4th down pass albeit on a good play call. Bad play calls on downs 1 through 3. Bad execution, bad play calling, bad loss.
ReplyDeleteDidn't one of the Louisville players say "a bunch of slow players" when asked about watching BC on film?
ReplyDeleteWhats the difference between the offense from last year and this year? Charlie Callahan? They should be cruising here against shitty Louisville
ReplyDeleteVille might as well run this RPO the rest of the game. Can’t stop it.
ReplyDeleteWhy is Sebastian playing and not Torres? Sebastian has been an issue all season.
ReplyDeleteDaz excels at inspiring football teams - Usually our opponents.
ReplyDeleteBrandon Sebastian is horrible
ReplyDeleteLoiudvilectakes the lead.
ReplyDeleteDazoshit apologists keeping a low profile today.
ReplyDeleteMore pass interference. Does nobody teach them how to cover without blatantly grabbing people?
ReplyDelete20 straight points! Un-Bedazzable!
ReplyDeleteBlindly happy is our Athletic Department. Sorry you need Type A aggressive and assertive people there to make decisions. Addazio should have been fired in 2016.
ReplyDeleteGeorgia, I have not seen a Daz apologist on here in ages.
ReplyDeleteReally? Look at the posters who always point to the players and not the dazoshit.
ReplyDeletePetrino is smart. He will dunk and dunk all day. BC can not defend short passes. And now with QB running Defense has no clue.
ReplyDeleteThis comment has been removed by the author.
ReplyDeleteHe recruited these boobs.
ReplyDeleteYes GE. Not seeing theDaz apologists. Today.
ReplyDeleteGlines is killing BC today
ReplyDeleteAgain, why are they running routes short of the first down marker? Inexplicable!!
ReplyDelete3rd and 10. So throw for 6 yards. wTF
ReplyDeleteWhy do the Fake IRISH WIN ????? WHY DO WE CONTINUE TO ROT ??????
ReplyDeleteYOU JUST HAVE TO BE PATIENT !!!!!!!!!
SHUT UP DON'T ROCK THE BOAT
More throws in front of the sticks. What the hell os wrong with these people?
ReplyDeleteAgain, why do they keep throwing short of the first-down marker?
ReplyDelete3rd and 10 and Brown throws a very predictable 2 yard pass. You can't make this shit up.
ReplyDeleteAnd short throw into traffic. Never a chance to run.
ReplyDeleteThe offense needs a spark. Brown has struggled for weeks now. All of the great coaches make quarterback changes when necessary. You are losing to a team that is a 14 point underdog. If that does not scream QB change, I don't know what does.
ReplyDeleteJarmond is too busy tweeting and tailgating to worry about this game.
ReplyDeleteZach Allen playing a monster game so far.
ReplyDeleteAt least there’s one aspect of special teams that is good.
ReplyDeleteSmart time out actually. I am shocked
ReplyDeleteThese penalties are drive killers
ReplyDeleteFfs why run it when you don’t have a damn kicker?
ReplyDeleteAgain, another route short of the first down! I am mystified!
ReplyDeleteSLOPPY SLOPPY SLOPPY JUST DISGUSTING WORK
ReplyDeletePERSONIFYING DAZZO SHIT PERFECTLY
Lichtenberg for Heisman.
ReplyDeleteLooks like someone got the message on special teams play.....
Oh dear God, my heart. Unbelievable
ReplyDeleteSettling for a fg with a crappy kicker actually worked this time. Will only reinforce this for the future.
ReplyDeleteeven the announcers are laughing
ReplyDelete“An interesting chess match whenever BC has the ball...”
ReplyDeleteOver the top, truth stretching hyperbole never said by an announcer during the Daz era. Until now....smh
The lack of discipline on this team is staggering. Driver killer after drive killer penalties. And did you notice they threw short on 3rd down again?
ReplyDeleteBtw, I wouldn’t hate an updated version of the throwbacks as the full time uni. The gold pants work, love the block logo on the shoulder pads, but the numbers get bunched on most of the jerseys, making them kinda useless. Maybe bigger numbers without the gold outline.
ReplyDeleteSince the Wake muff, Walker has really showed up on returns. Good to see him stepping up.
ReplyDeleteThese coaches are idiots. Everyone knew Bailey was going to get the ball on that 3rd down. It would have been the perfect time to do play-action to the tight end, which has worked on multiple touchdowns this season.
ReplyDeleteOh, and Stup-dazzio blows another 3rd quarter timeout in a tight game. You do not do that! You may need those TOs for a final drive in the 4th.
Stup-dazzio runs into a brick wall again.
ReplyDeleteThat really faked Louisville out, Addazio. Nice call.
ReplyDeleteIf Petrula was the center, it would have been a first down.
Great play call on fourth and one. As this game looks like it will be life and death to win, look at Louisville’s other scores this year including giving up 66 points to Georgia Tech last week.
ReplyDeleteLet's hear it for BC s experienced offensive line
ReplyDeleteLouisville receivers get past the first down marker. Duh!
ReplyDeleteExactly!!!!!
ReplyDeleteLouisville will score on this 95 yard drive.
ReplyDeleteCrimanelli, now this defense is going to give up a 95-yard drive. This is horrid!
ReplyDeleteCan our defense stop anyone? Seriously. These guys were pinned in their end & now marching down field. This is unbelievable....
ReplyDeleteGlad I was wrong.
ReplyDeleteWhew! Love when I am wrong.
ReplyDeleteBack to the first half. Was that Borgersen who blocked that punt? Great play.
ReplyDeleteI love Bailey but at some point you have to throw the ball
ReplyDeleteAssume everyone has seen the wide shots of the stadium today. How many people do you think are there today?
ReplyDelete25,000 maybe? Addazio ball really puts the fannies into the seats.
ReplyDeletePass it in!
ReplyDeleteOr give it to Bailey
ReplyDeleteThat 4th and 4 was the play of the game. Great play call.
ReplyDeleteYeah Bailey. Yeah Travis Levy out of the backfield. Loosen them up even a little and good things happen.
ReplyDeleteI'd like to see a stop, and then another emphatic drive. Boom!
ReplyDeleteWhen this game is over, this may be the most undisciplined, unimaginative, inconsistent, frustrating 5-2 team to ever be one game away from bowl eligibility.
ReplyDeleteIt’s not #EverToExcel or #DecideToFly, it’s #ScrambleToDoJustEnoughToNotGetFired...
Perfectly said
DeleteI hope Zach Allen comes back into the game when we're on Defense.
ReplyDeleteThis throwing short of the sticks is driving me insane
ReplyDeleteAnother 2 yard pass on 3rd and long. You can't make it up.
ReplyDeleteYes, throw BEYOND the first down marker!
ReplyDeleteI’d be interested to see how many times our offense has had 3rd and 7 or 3rd and 8 this year. Seems like every drive there is at least one.
ReplyDeleteIt has been going on since Spaziani who passed it on to Addazio.
ReplyDelete3rd and long? Pass short.
Other then one drive D has played great
ReplyDeleteThis one should be 45-7 snooze fest..Daz coaching and horrific turnovers have made this an actual game
Louisville's D is awful. If we continue to throw short of the sticks on 3rd down against even average D's BC is going to get destroyed during the rest of the season.
ReplyDeleteGlines looks so slow.
ReplyDeleteI agree - we could have scored more, except for Addazio.
ReplyDeleteDo you think Louisville would have held the score down if the roles were reversed?
Let's go BC - punch this in - even though everyone in the world knows what's coming.
Good playcall
ReplyDeleteThey are beating the spread! 24 straight points. Although there is definitely opportunity for improvement.
ReplyDeleteOne positive is that they are holding together without Dillon. If BC had punched in a few of the goal line attempts and avoided giving up so many points off turnovers this game wouldn’t be close.
ReplyDeleteNC State loss looms large from a record standpoint although upcoming games against Miami, Vtech, Clemson likely to bring BC back to the pack in the Coastal division.
STL - Atlantic
ReplyDeleteI feel as though most of think this team could have been 7 and 0 or at least 6 and 1.
ReplyDeleteSo now we'll have to steal two from Miami, Clemson, FSU, and VT and beat Syracuse to have that 8 and 4 year.
Go BC!
Beat Miami on Red Bandanna Game Night.
ReplyDelete"Play call their way into losses......." Perhaps my biggest gripe.
ReplyDeleteBut a lot of good stuff today, so we don't have to dwell on the bad stuff in victory.
Take it and move on with 13 days to prepare. When Dillon comes back, they have four backs to run the ball.
ReplyDeleteSecond half. Much better.
ReplyDeleteDecent win.
Hope there are more wins in the tank
We can beat Miami.
ReplyDeleteThe problem that nobody is talking about is Anthony Brown.
ReplyDeleteHe improves with Dillon playing. But I am starting to doubt his ability to be anything more than a one -read QB
He does miss seeing open receivers, it seems
ReplyDeleteBurned Bailey's red shirt. Glines is hurt or Dillon is seriously injured. High ankles are long-term, Dillon.
ReplyDelete
