Third and long and AB throws for a few. Even the announcers said that you have to go for the sticks. This is a bad start. Let's hope he warms up.---Because of Harvard-Yale going long, the game missed the first few minutes. The game started with the third and long. They did show the fg block by Allen.
Time to do something different with this set of downs, how about Dillon up the middle. Looks better today, but with this insane play calling he will be reinsured before we know it
This offense has absolutely regressed since last year. All the same players. Explain that. You can tell that they are tight and are not playing with any self confidence. Put McDonald in. It could hardly be worse.
This is the most incompetent display of offense against a mediocre defense I have seen in quite some time. It is literally paining me to watch. Everyone in the stadium knows our QB simply cannot throw an accurate pass anywhere.
Amazing that some people here (Khead) can’t see that the Daz is completely mediocre at best. The argument is silly at this point. Since starting his head coaching career in 2011, he is 4 games over .500. However, he was 5 games over .500 in his first season, so since 2012, he is a below .500 coach despite playing a ton of lower division teams. He’s a crappy coach, no guts, no imagination. Plain and simple.
Also, I like how ESPN talks about our high powered offense - 400 yds per game, 30 points per game...take out UMass and HC and those numbers are very different. Let's be clear - our offense sucks.
Rooting for BC now is a classic Faustian bargain (Khead thinks I’m referring to the former ND coach Gerry Faust). Finish strong and the Daz gets a multi year extension. Finish weakly and they can buy him out of his last year and move on from this 6 year nightmare. So, do you opt for the short term sugar high followed by more five years of drudgery (contract extension), or do you take your medicine now and be rewarded with potentially better days (new coach) down the road? That is the question confronting all BC fans.
Brown threw 3 good passes on that last drive. Hope that builds some confidence and he continues with that play. He has been starter for two full years now, he needs to start to play more consistent. He’s a good kid so routing for him so hope he can play better
It’s gonna be ugly but they have to find a way to win. Give Levy & Glines a couple carries so Dillon fresh for fourth.
Cuse getting demolished and Dungy our so BC has good shot at home if they can survive this. Staff made good adjustments last road game vs VT. hope they can do the same today
Peter Carmichael of the most high powered offense in pro-football. OR UNITE BE HIND ANOTHER GOOD -VERY GOOD CANDIDATE AND GET RID OF SADNESS "FOR BOSTON" and shut the hand wringers up as they wail O WHAT CAN YOU DO? Great article in today's NY TIMES on why ND is successful . They don't put up with LOSERS, Glad to see the cuse getting pummeled.
Daz on Monday “I wanted to put us in a good position to draft Zion Williamson next year. You guys don’t understand. When it comes together, it will be beautiful.”
Who’s that kid in the grey sweatshirt on the sideline? I see him talking to Anthony Brown almost after every three and out. The guy looks like he’s 18. Loefflers son?
Finally opening things up. Took almost 7 qtrs to figure that out.....
Win or lose, if Daz emphasizes that this was a good, dangerous FSU team playing for bowl eligibility at home and we were banged up, he should be fired while he is at the podium.
This is not a good opponent. And you need to expect injuries and coach around them. This has been such a weak effort so far.
Why does Addazio blow a timeout on 3rd and forever in the 3rd quarter? This could come down to a final possession and now they are down a critical timeout.
If I was AJ’s parents I would be so pissed. Daz grinding this guy while he is clearly hurt is not necessary. You have 2-3 others that can get you 3 yards against this defense, particularly in the middle of the field. At this point, hold him for short yardage and goal line for god sakes.
Honestly...30 carries and we’re only in the third quarter on a bum ankle. I Applaud this kid.
But if this isn’t an indictment on college sports I don’t know what is. We’ve worn this kid out. These two years have taken some severe mileage off this kids career.
TGS - it seems like a real clean program and I like the players. Many are top students and well spoken. I think many are talented football players as well - Addazio just chooses not to use them to their full potential in a college offense.
This is a tough call. One gets the sense that a TD on this drive seals it. On the other hand, if you fail to convert and they drive down for a field goal, that could cost them the game. Not sure how I would play this.
I get what BJK is saying. I do not like his in game ineptness, but Daz has recruited solid character kids to this program. It would be easy for him not to do so — ask Dan Henning.
So it looks like Anthony Brown is starting the game.
ReplyDeleteGo BC - you can do it - all day long!
Dungey got hurt against ND - don't know how bad. Heading to the locker room.
ReplyDeleteGlad Brown wasn’t seriously hurt, wish he wasn’t playing in this game..he’s tough to watch throwing the football
ReplyDelete"Hello - this is Lawrence Kansas - is there anyone there?"
ReplyDelete3rd down and 10, and we throw for 1 yard.
Steve Addazio special all the way.
Great. Third and 9 and throw for 6. So predictable. Pathetic.
ReplyDeleteLet's watch the Offensive Line. There's no reason to throw short if the OLine is doing its job. It's on the play call and QB then.
ReplyDeleteThere's always AJ up the middle.
ReplyDeleteAddazio, you are a piece of work.
Third and long and AB throws for a few. Even the announcers said that you have to go for the sticks. This is a bad start. Let's hope he warms up.---Because of Harvard-Yale going long, the game missed the first few minutes. The game started with the third and long. They did show the fg block by Allen.
ReplyDeleteWe need a QB who can throw. It is that simple.
ReplyDeleteShaping up to be a huge loss. What an awful offense.
ReplyDeleteDaz going to lose this game if he doesn’t make a QB change, Brown’s regression is frightening
ReplyDeleteDaz and Loeffler: #EverToBe3rdand7
ReplyDeleteOk DEFENSE
ReplyDeleteDon’t like AJ backing into tacklers, but man he is a beast.
ReplyDeleteSuch unimaginative play calling. Even the “trick” plays they do have already been used multiple times this year. Nothing too surprising about them.
ReplyDeleteHe can’t thrown.
ReplyDeleteThis is pathetic.
ReplyDeleteYou have got to be fucking shitting me. Daz has to go solely because he hasn’t recruited a damn kicker in 6 years.
ReplyDeleteAnnd...FG No good............looks like a typical game plan
ReplyDeleteOLine breakdown - Lindstrom and Petrula.
ReplyDeleteAnd then a missed chip shot.
wow.
Jesus Christ!
ReplyDeletePitiful
ReplyDeleteChip shot field goal
Not straightened out yet?
Btw, Maryland and coaching staff showed how to take on an elite team and coach today....
ReplyDeleteCan the Dazoshit apologists please explain why the asshole vanca recruit a kicker?
ReplyDeleteThis comment has been removed by the author.
ReplyDeleteThis comment has been removed by the author.
ReplyDeleteAnd another special teams mistake.
ReplyDeleteWow - Long was right on the kicker - don't know how it wasn't blocked.
ReplyDeleteFSU throws past the sticks. How novel
ReplyDeleteBoth these teams are terrible, both trying to play fast and neither team can complete a pass. Stupid to watch
ReplyDeleteBoneheads on FSU too!
ReplyDeleteKudos to Reid/Camp and Defense, have really improved as season has went on.
ReplyDeleteOffense will go 3 and out all game with no points so they will wear down but they are good
Thank God Fsu is wretched. Still, we have Dazoshit and special teams to blow this game.
ReplyDeleteOK - if the Eagles don't settle down and get it going on this drive, it will be a long day with a win very much in doubt.
ReplyDeleteSo far our game plan stinks.
And the Offensive Line is not doing its job. Again, let's watch them closely.
This "one of the best offensive lines in the ACC" is not proving out.
Time to do something different with this set of downs, how about Dillon up the middle. Looks better today, but with this insane play calling he will be reinsured before we know it
ReplyDeleteBC game plan is clearly just hope Dillon can break one and score a TD on his own with no help from anyone on offense
ReplyDeleteWorse
ReplyDeleteCan it get worse?
Run, run, another dinky pass on 3rd and long, another God awful pass by Brown.
ReplyDeleteAnd AGAIN brown throws it way short of the marker.
ReplyDeleteSuper ugly game so far.
ReplyDeleteBC has no flow. No rhythm
Long way to go
They do seem aggressive. Which is good.
Focus !!!
Can Perry do worse,?
ReplyDeleteAnd another pass way short of the sticks, even if he caught it.
ReplyDeleteThis is pure stupidity.
You can tell that Brown hasn't practiced, and this is frightening how bad we are today.
But we have a great in-game coach and he'll figure it out.
Dillon looks better than he did in last few games
ReplyDeleteThere is hope.
Brown is 3-8 for 13yards and pick..his misses are laughable..no i don’t think so
ReplyDeleteThis offense has absolutely regressed since last year. All the same players. Explain that. You can tell that they are tight and are not playing with any self confidence. Put McDonald in. It could hardly be worse.
ReplyDeleteI wonder if Jarmand is thinking right now
ReplyDeleteFSU just needs to keep it on the ground.
ReplyDeleteI'm ready for McDonald.
ReplyDeleteCome on Defense.
ReplyDeleteHa ha ha ha.
ReplyDeleteCan’t brown throw simple routes? Gimmicks already??
ReplyDeleteRight now, these are the two worse teams in the acc. Look out Syracuse
ReplyDeleteTight end in that 4th down pass was still short of the sticks.
ReplyDeleteThis is the most incompetent display of offense against a mediocre defense I have seen in quite some time. It is literally paining me to watch. Everyone in the stadium knows our QB simply cannot throw an accurate pass anywhere.
ReplyDeleteBrown has zero confidence.
ReplyDeleteIf Daz doesn’t make QB change he should be fired on the plane
ReplyDeleteMaybe if we lose our next 3 games Addazio will be gone? I don't think so, but a man can dream.
ReplyDeleteIt's time for an adjustment by Addazio - is he capable? Currently he's managing this game into a defeat.
ReplyDeleteI think a QB change is in order. A Brown is game, but not up for it today.
Perry or McDonald - let's go.
ReplyDeleteI have no complaints with the defense. They are keeping us in this disaster. The offense, on the hand, is despicable.
ReplyDeleteIf Daz stays Loeffler has to go. Two weeks in a row and no offensive output? We essentially have to OCs. WTF is the excuse now? Too warm out?
ReplyDeleteWhat an exciting game! What time does curling start?
ReplyDeleteAmazing that some people here (Khead) can’t see that the Daz is completely mediocre at best. The argument is silly at this point.
ReplyDeleteSince starting his head coaching career in 2011, he is 4 games over .500. However, he was 5 games over .500 in his first season, so since 2012, he is a below .500 coach despite playing a ton of lower division teams.
He’s a crappy coach, no guts, no imagination. Plain and simple.
So who was saying we had no chance last week with AB hurt???
ReplyDeleteBrown is trash but daz keeps smashing how head into a wall so no change. I'm convinced Dillon is hurt and had 0 pop.
ReplyDeleteNow, Dazoshit. Now can we have a new qb?
ReplyDeleteAll eyes are on Addazio. Make the change, man. Loyalty aside, make the $2.5M decision.
ReplyDeletePerry warming up with helmet on, maybe Daz will try to save the season
ReplyDeleteIs he capable of making a QB change short of incapacitating injury?
ReplyDeleteWe need a spark, Coach. Can't you see it?
ReplyDeleteOne of my friends watched a BC game recently and said we run a high school offense. Of course, I had to tell him that was an insult to high schools.
ReplyDeleteBrown is playing very badly and probably hurt. Francois is playing very, very, very badly and keeping BC in the game.
ReplyDeleteWe are poised for a 9 and 3 season and a nice bowl. And Addazio gives us this shit.
ReplyDeleteYou can't make it up.
Pretty soon it will be a call to GTFOMAM!
Our offensive line is ridiculously overhyped.
ReplyDeleteFinally, a pass accurately thrown over 5 yards.
ReplyDeleteEven a simple pasd completion brings drama
ReplyDeleteDaz’s Offensive plan is quit simple Fla.st is an offensive power house and he trying to use up the clock and hope to win by a point
ReplyDeleteTGS hates Dazzler so much it makes you wonder.
ReplyDeleteNeed more Levy. Dillon is running passive for the 2nd straight week.
ReplyDeleteAJ can't run on that bad ankle. Good God, Addazio.
ReplyDeleteI am beyond disqusted with this play calling and Dazoshit refusing to make a QB change. Unfucking believable!
ReplyDeleteLevy or Glibes!! Cmon
ReplyDeleteThe whole world knows we are running on first down. Play levy and keep them guessing
ReplyDeleteGlines
ReplyDeleteDillon runs directly into the back of his lineman 80% of the time.
ReplyDeleteIncredible TGS roams the Purdue and Northwestern blogs looking for people named Knucklehead. I am titillating, eh.
ReplyDeleteBrown is terrible. I’m sorry he’s not good
ReplyDeleteBrown can see the monster TEs
ReplyDeleteYay. tD
ReplyDeleteGood use of play action... FSU LBs are lazy and cheating, or wandering prior to the snap.
ReplyDeleteAlso, I like how ESPN talks about our high powered offense - 400 yds per game, 30 points per game...take out UMass and HC and those numbers are very different. Let's be clear - our offense sucks.
ReplyDeleteDaz tells D coordinators to switch defensive game plan and go zone. FSU of course drives down field to score. He should coach from the bus
ReplyDeleteAnd now our defense is porous.
ReplyDeleteSyracuse getting killed and our chance for a good season with the ACC way down - and we're in a nail-biter.
Wow.
Daz not even in the huddle. Did anyone else see that? He was just complaining to the refs for no reason
ReplyDeleteWhy did we change to zone?
ReplyDeleteHalf time adjustments. Are just around the corner.
ReplyDeleteHa
Not
Turtle with a 1 point led. daz-style?
ReplyDeleteIf I wasn't a BC fan I would either be falling asleep or changing the channel. What a sloppy , poorly played game.
ReplyDeleteHe’s going to run out the clock.
ReplyDeleteThis is absolutely coaching malpractice. I have never seen FSU this bad. They are terrible and so beatable. But here we are.
ReplyDeleteI hate to say it, but most or all of us knew that Addazio was capable of coaching this into a close game - and therefore he would.
ReplyDeleteAnd he'll say how tough this FSU team is and playing in a tough 65 degree day environment, etc.
Yes, we saw this coming.
So let's run AJ into the middle and run the clock out.
Pussy move not to try to score
ReplyDeleteRooting for BC now is a classic Faustian bargain (Khead thinks I’m referring to the former ND coach Gerry Faust). Finish strong and the Daz gets a multi year extension. Finish weakly and they can buy him out of his last year and move on from this 6 year nightmare. ReplyDeleteThat is the question confronting all BC fans.
Just want to keep it close at the half so we can make our move in the 4th qtr.....
ReplyDeleteI have never, NEVER, seen a less imaginative, daring, innovative, intelligent coach than the piece of shit coach our gutless AD refuses to fire.
ReplyDeleteBrown threw 3 good passes on that last drive. Hope that builds some confidence and he continues with that play. He has been starter for two full years now, he needs to start to play more consistent. He’s a good kid so routing for him so hope he can play better
ReplyDeleteIt’s gonna be ugly but they have to find a way to win. Give Levy & Glines a couple carries so Dillon fresh for fourth.

Peter Carmichael of the most high powered offense in pro-football.
ReplyDeleteOR UNITE BE HIND ANOTHER GOOD -VERY GOOD CANDIDATE AND GET RID OF
SADNESS "FOR BOSTON" and shut the hand wringers up as they wail O WHAT CAN YOU DO?
Great article in today's NY TIMES on why ND is successful .
They don't put up with LOSERS,
Glad to see the cuse getting pummeled.
Most boring, predictable offense in cfb. If you were a Qb or receiver would you want to go to bc?
ReplyDeleteThis comment has been removed by the author.
ReplyDeleteDaz is to coaching what Yoko Ono is to music excellence.
ReplyDeleteThat's pretty funny.
ReplyDeleteUnbelievable.
ReplyDeleteFor the love of God get Brown out of there
ReplyDeleteThat 3rd down call was atrocious
ReplyDeleteOk team - what have we got? Someone has to step up.
ReplyDeleteI have an idea. AJ up the middle behind this great OLine to soften them up - so we can take advantage late in the game.
We know the D will hold, right Coach? Good strategy.
Interesting game. Two mistake pronr teams. BC clearly the superior team. Will break out soon. Final 28 - 6.
ReplyDeletePathetic. Is aj going to have 40 carries for 2.5 ypc?
ReplyDeleteDillon is hurt, Brown can't pass, Dazoshit can't coach. Does that about sum it up?
ReplyDeleteThat second down call was terrible. Pass the ball at 2nd and 5
ReplyDeleteLoeffler has to go. WTF.
ReplyDeleteThe commentator couldn't believe it either.
This game is there for FSU to take it. No question.
Addazio and Loeffler = SUCK!
And the worst of it is, we have some good plys and good players and they aren't using either.
Is the Vegas fix at play here?
GE yet we're still somehow winning this game. Hats off to the defense.
ReplyDelete“Ever to Bore”
ReplyDeleteSpoke too soon
ReplyDeleteBall game. Fire Daz now.
ReplyDeleteW.T.F. #DecideToChoke
ReplyDeleteC'mon Dazoshit apologists. Let's hear from you.
ReplyDeleteAmazing catch by Murray. I meant the final will be 28 to 13. Don't despair.
ReplyDeleteHorrible horrible horrible. Our lame fan base doesn’t care so there’s no pressure for Jarmond to act.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely Spazian.
ReplyDeleteThis comment has been removed by the author.
ReplyDeleteAddazio ball - it will be beautiful!
ReplyDeleteSteve Addazio has single handedly made this loss possible if we can't pull it out.
He must have a huge bet against his own team.
Let's hope some investigative reporters can check this out.
Were we back in zone coverage?
Daz on Monday “I wanted to put us in a good position to draft Zion Williamson next year. You guys don’t understand. When it comes together, it will be beautiful.”
ReplyDeleteThis is worse than Spazadufus and Gary Nyquil.
ReplyDeleteWe’re sitting here at FSU watching one of the most frustrating, pitiful offensive efforts I’ve ever seen.
ReplyDeletePlaying to lose. They need to step up or this game willl spiral out of reach.
ReplyDeleteAddazio is a pitiful game planner and game manager. For everything he might do well - it's all negated by his terrible and pathetic game coaching.
ReplyDeleteHe's brutal. BRUTAL - BRUTAL - BRUTAL - BRUTAL - BRUTAL and PITIFUL.
I have been a BC fan for many years - this guy is awful.
Who’s that kid in the grey sweatshirt on the sideline? I see him talking to Anthony Brown almost after every three and out. The guy looks like he’s 18. Loefflers son?
ReplyDeleteBrown is so bad at reading defenses... that flea flicker was wide open.
ReplyDeleteFinally opening things up. Took almost 7 qtrs to figure that out.....
ReplyDeleteWin or lose, if Daz emphasizes that this was a good, dangerous FSU team playing for bowl eligibility at home and we were banged up, he should be fired while he is at the podium.
This is not a good opponent. And you need to expect injuries and coach around them. This has been such a weak effort so far.
Big Jack, what is it exactly that the Daz does well?
ReplyDeleteCurious.
My God look what happens when the offense is allowed to open up. Now that BC has the lead expect more turtle ball.
ReplyDeleteHe sucks down meatballs at Limoncella pretty well.
ReplyDeleteBriiwn is a first read, 1 read QB. But if the read is there he looks good
ReplyDeleteGee. Who has said that before?
ReplyDeleteCT. Weren’t you asked to leave?
ReplyDeleteMore sniping from one of the bitches
ReplyDeleteSTFU and watch the game
Lots of crooked Johnson ads today. ESPN know Khead is watching?
ReplyDeleteBeth the announcer. Doesn't do anything but aggravate me.Have to mute the game.
ReplyDeleteLet’s be a dude and keep the pedal to the floor Daz.
ReplyDeleteThe point is, with the exception of Clemson, BC should be winning most games by 20 points. But we have Dazoshit who plays to keep it close. Pathetic.
ReplyDeleteWhy does Addazio blow a timeout on 3rd and forever in the 3rd quarter? This could come down to a final possession and now they are down a critical timeout.
ReplyDeleteWhy did Dazoshit burn a time out? He is going to run Dillon up the middle for two yards and a punt
ReplyDeleteBrown much sharper last two drives. Looking like guy who played against Wake.
ReplyDeleteOK, they answered my question. Dialed up a great play on 3rd and 18.
ReplyDeleteGot away with a hold there.
ReplyDeleteIf I was AJ’s parents I would be so pissed. Daz grinding this guy while he is clearly hurt is not necessary. You have 2-3 others that can get you 3 yards against this defense, particularly in the middle of the field. At this point, hold him for short yardage and goal line for god sakes.

ReplyDeleteBut if this isn’t an indictment on college sports I don’t know what is. We’ve worn this kid out. These two years have taken some severe mileage off this kids career.
Yep. Finally a gift from the refs.
ReplyDeleteCan we score?
ReplyDeleteKobay White has been quiet all season. He came to play today. I really like this kid.
ReplyDeleteTake 3. Cmon
ReplyDeleteMan, he really struggles with game management. You need to have these plays ready to go.
ReplyDeleteBrown looks good in the second half. GE is right about "keeping it close". FSU is lousy even without Burt Reynolds. BC should have run them out.
ReplyDeleteTook 20 seconds to get a play in??
ReplyDeleteDazoshit burns another time out. What a disorganized DISASTER.
ReplyDeleteTGS - it seems like a real clean program and I like the players. Many are top students and well spoken. I think many are talented football players as well - Addazio just chooses not to use them to their full potential in a college offense.
ReplyDeleteThis is a tough call. One gets the sense that a TD on this drive seals it. On the other hand, if you fail to convert and they drive down for a field goal, that could cost them the game. Not sure how I would play this.
ReplyDeleteTake the FG
ReplyDeletePhew
ReplyDeleteI like that call on 4th & 1
ReplyDeleteAgree with Big Krack
ReplyDeleteTD!
ReplyDeleteNice play call.
ReplyDeleteOk let’s hold them and sit AJ next drive. We need him next week.
ReplyDeleteGlad I was wrong.
ReplyDeleteStay warm AJ...
ReplyDeleteWe need stops
ReplyDeleteAnd now that. Oy
ReplyDeleteAnd just when the offense gets rolling the D lays an egg
ReplyDeleteJesus. Need a turnover
ReplyDeleteWe are lucky they are so bad.
ReplyDeleteBig Jack, a clean program?
ReplyDeleteNot much of a standard you are holding BC’s highest paid employee to.
I get what BJK is saying. I do not like his in game ineptness, but Daz has recruited solid character kids to this program. It would be easy for him not to do so — ask Dan Henning.
DeleteWe are going to need 1-2 more scores.
ReplyDeleteIn all seriousness - we need to score on this drive.
ReplyDeleteDaz going to try to run out the clock here and get a three and out
ReplyDeleteI hope daz keeps opening up the offense with passing. We will need more points.
ReplyDeleteWill we see AJ up the middle?
ReplyDeletePlease don’t go turtle on me!!!!
ReplyDeleteI really wish we had those 2 blown timeouts.
ReplyDeleteJust thinking same thing EB. They pull off a long scoring drive here we are screwed.
DeletePunt it
ReplyDeleteIf you had a 2nd timeout you challenge that.
ReplyDeleteBad first down spot.
ReplyDeleteDon't like this.
ReplyDeleteYup, Daz mismanagement of TOs could cost them bigtime. That was not a first down.
ReplyDeleteLay-off the punter!!! We
ReplyDeleteThis sweeping to the end with Dillon has not worked all night
ReplyDeleteHow tough are we, BC?
ReplyDeleteWhy is he snapping it with 15 seconds on play clock?
ReplyDelete
