Noon for North Carolina

The North Carolina game will be a Noon ET game on Raycom. Get your game watches ready. I am surprised by the time. I thought Carolina's recent run would make this an ESPN night game. I guess the guys in Bristol are expecting us to lose to the Hokies and therefore remain unranked.

  2. Shocking stuff (although not that surprising).

Another reason for the 12PM UNC start: Brandon Tateout with town ACL/MCL.

  3. I know this is early, but any chance we'll have to worry about a Logan to Clemson move? It is a stretch, but if they opt for an up-and-comer v. a big name, he might be under consideration, and he is a Carolina (albeit a North Carolina) guy.

  4. Brighton--I'd be very surprised if Clemson went with an up and comer. That fan base is going to demand they bring in someone name-brand on a national scale.

Or perhaps I don't even want to think about Logan leaving us...

  5. Logan is not going to Clemson. As Mike said, they want a name. Logan is a proven coach and a great OC, but he lacks the "sexy" quality their fans will want.

  6. I'm just going to not think about it. After posting that is. I don't think Logan wants to be a head coach anymore... for some reason I feel like I read a quote about him liking the OC role. Plus we've talked about how they gave him a nice contract and he bought a house/apartment on the res... I don't think he'd do that to us. I sooner see clemson going after a pro coach that gets fired this year or a pro OC

  7. Yah, I agree it will be a big name, and if a coordinator, someone like Will Muschamp; but just wanted to acknowledge the fact losing Logan crosses my mind whenever a coaching position opens up in the Carolina's...

Personally, I think he has a good thing going for him at the Heights, particularly if they can lure a quality QB in next year's recruiting class...

  8. Bobby Petrino or Nick Saban must be ready for a new gig.
