See and meet Steve Donahue

Today is the beginning of the Donahue World Tour. You can watch his press conference live at 4 pm ET.

For those on or near campus, at 5 pm ET, BC will hold a welcome part on the Dust Bowl for the new coach. The Coach will say a few words and there will be prizes and giveaways.

After watching the press conference I'll have more on my initial impressions.

  1. Is it again too typical of us BC students that I have studying to do instead of meeting the new coach? I'd like to, but it's not that important, I'd say.

There are a lot of people in the dustbowl camping out, laying in the sun, who are getting ready to see the new coach.

  2. Is Father Hanrahan tapping a keg?

  3. So, not a ton of questions. I'm curious about how his meeting with the players went.

Hopefully there are some bodies lined up for the meet & greet with the students.

  4. Love the fact that in his opening remarks he repeatedly used "WE" when referring to the university. Also loved how he pimped the hockey team at the end; although I got the impression he though the game was tonight, I think he can be forgiven. I dunno about you guys, but this is the first time in a while I've been really fired up for BC basketball again.

  5. My life's been crazy enough that I don't know whether it is Wed or Thu anymore either.

  6. He sure did get a perfect day to make his debut. Should be a ton of students on the dust bowl just tossing the football around if not waiting to meet the new coach. Wish I were there instead of in this cubical.

  7. emil- get your priorities straight. You still have grad school for actual studying.

Hope everyone enjoys the coach's new introduction.
