Out of the mouths of babes...

While cleaning up my one-year-old after lunch, she casually pointed to this logo on my shirt and said,

"Chicken!"

  3. FWIW I wrote a letter to GDF last year about dumping the chicken head for the newer "screaming eagle" secondary logo that appears on the sleeves of the football jerseys.

I got a basketball media guide in the mail...talk about disconnect!

  4. Unfortunately for those who dislike the angry chicken logo, it looks like it is still around - and adorning shockingly expensive plo shirts:

  5. On the lighter side, I think there is some kind of subliminal message in the Eagle's beak . . .

maybe the New Orleans Saints fleur-de-lis logo. . . .

or, perhaps, the four points of the beak are symbolic of something more familiar . . . .

  6. I've pretty much just made a habit of not buying any BC stuff that has the angry chicken logo on it. I had thought it was being phased out for a while, but now I'm seeing a resurgence. Man, I hate that thing.

  9. I sincerely hope the new Underarmour contract will result in the permanent purging of the Angry Chicken. I'd love to see them being back the old interlocking BC as our main athletics logo.

  13. Rename this blog "Coop Scoop!"

I love the angry chicken. But then, I'm also a big fan of Elvis movies and the whole B-horror genre, from Day of the Triffids to Night of the Lepus. So take that for what it's worth.
