Signing Day is approaching and BC used the last free weekend to close in on some more recruits. After just offering New York Defensive Tackle Nate Emer, he reportedly verballed this weekend. He's going to need to add weight and adjust to the higher level of play, but I think Emer has potential.
Another reported verbal was New Jersey DT TJ Rayman. He has a better offer list than Emer. He's also a bit older and more developed. Hopefully he will be able to contribute right away.
Matthew McDonald had a good visit too but won't announce until Wednesday.

ReplyDeleteThere is plenty of top line talent in this class to be competitive, it just lacks depth. If you compare the comp offers of some of the "lower rated" guys at other schools, they're very similar, this class is very in line with much of the ACC (outside of top 4). A kid from the Carolina or Texas region who verbals to NCSU or Baylor (for example) and has similar offers to a kid from the NE, is going to be ranked higher (that's just life). Anyone who thinks this class is that far out of line than anything TOB or Jagz did is just a Farrell puppet

ReplyDeleteDaz NEEDS to start brining in one or two 4star recruits in each class. he has had plenty of time to build the depth. he needs to start going after some bigger talent if he wants to move from the bottom to the middle. Yes he is going to find some diamonds in these 3 stars but he needs to stop believing that 4 star recruits will not come they will if he shows improvement and continues to go to bowl games.

Just watched the espn video showing Addazio and his "Decide to Fly" mantra !!! He is a total asshole - it is not funny and Mature coaches would never put this stamp on NSD.
