  1. Hockey lost to Bentley yesterday afternoon. Freaking Bentley, middle of the pack in a conference full of powerhouses such as Air Force, Robert Morris, and Niagra. Just wanted to get that out there. I know that Jerry York recruits players that are so good they tend to jump to pro hockey after a year, so here is hoping that next year's crop plays hockey a little better.

  2. I despise one-and-done. Makes a mockery of the concept of student-athletes

    ReplyDelete
  3. We now know how the FSU football fans feel this year. Our hockey program has been so good for so long that it's unthinkable to expect the year we are having. Last year was not good either.
    Jerry???

  4. BC does a lot of great things right across the board. "Ever to mediocrity" is not one of them. Compare "the shaking down of the thunder" festivities before every game at the French School to the blase' attitude on the Heights.---- "Edward Griffith" is right in everything that she says and everyone laughs. Jean d'Arc was just such a woman who shamed the men into action. Leahy believes that he has done a great thing by bringing in a "mouse" to do a man's job. His only experience at Ohio St was making schedules and that he had a politically connected dentist wife.----I received a letter from Brad Bates inviting me to visit. I then visited in 2015 and the woman who runs the department, Jill Hegarty whose husband evidently runs hockey, strangely told me that he was out at the dentist. Bates was a party guy and was never there.---- I also received an email from "Floppo" about the Jags firing. He was not to be crossed.---So, where is Leahy in this entire mess? Father Jenkins brought in a lawyer to straighten it out. We bring in a "mouse". I got two emails from him in regard to the mess. He is swimming in deep water and can't swim.

  5. What is the over/under on BC throwing short of the sticks on third down? I say six times.

    ReplyDelete
  6. I wish Jerry the best and wish he retired on top several years ago.

    Any guesses on attendance today?

Empty as Seniors are introduced - sad.

Family and Friends and Syracuse fans at kickoff.

Maybe 20,000 by the 2nd quarter.

Thanks Addazio - You the (Mr. Exciting) man!

Can't wait to see you pull all the plays you never use out of the play book today.

Belly left, belly right, belly up the middle.

    You the man!

  7. Not sure where JBQ's feelings on Jarmond are coming from.
It is very early, but count me a fan so far. At a bare minimum, he's the best AD that BC has had since Bill Flynn. I welcome anyone to tell me otherwise.
I know, I know, time will tell, but it says a lot that he can't possibly do worse than any of the AD's BC has had since Flynn.

    ReplyDelete
  8. Too early for me to have formed a strong opinion re Jarmond one way or the other. Addazio has to finish the season and we'll see what happens. Christian has to finish the season and we'll see whether he fares better than Addazio. Other than a lot of incidental stuff - some very good - he has hired a new volleyball coach and a new women's basketball coach - they both look promising.

The biggest concern on Jarmond? He was hired by Leahy who has a dismal hiring record. We'll see.

  9. I agree w John. As I said in another post, Daz, having snatched defeat from the jaws of victory at FSU in a soul-crushing manner, is likely running a little scared right now, despite BC's high tolerance for mediocrity. His response will be to call a game today that resembles 21st century football, insofar as he is capable of doing so, that is. But if we win, he will learn nothing from it. Nothing.

    ReplyDelete
  10. Completely agree. The man is set in his pig-headed ways. If he does open it up against Cuse, he will quickly turtle-up if he gets the lead. Gutless.

    ReplyDelete
  11. Dungey is expected to play, according to ESPN GameDay.

If we get behind early, Addazio/Loeffler will get us back.

    No worries - only bellies.

Yes, the old Wing T Belly Series.

We will punish those over-pursuing Syracuse defenders.

The Belly Split and the Belly Kick with cross blocking will work and of course the Belly Option. These will force Syracuse to commit men to the box - maybe even 8, 9 or 10.

Loeffler will exploit this by calling some Rocket Sweeps.

Buckle up - this will be exciting!

    ReplyDelete
  12. Run up the middle first two plays. 3rd and 9

    ReplyDelete
  13. Followed by a 3 yard pass well short of the markers.

    ReplyDelete
  14. Mouse has taken one significant action so far: extending Christian. wTf

Otherwise he is known as a strong tailgater and twitter cheerleader.

But - check it out- Mouse has not tweeted any support for Daz-hole this week? No cheering seniors.? No trite comments about being “simply the best”. Mouse is super quiet. A blind and quiet mouse.

But maybe, just maybe. The mouse mood changed. Could mouse be ready to act? I’m thinking NOT.

A mouse can’t swim as JBQ notes. And a Mouse can’t bark. Woof.

    ReplyDelete
  15. Mouse tries to be quiet and hide under the large facilities.

    ReplyDelete
  16. How many times does Addazio scream at Ricky Brown today?

    ReplyDelete
  17. Mouse the tailgater is too busy partying to worry about firing and hiring coaches.

    ReplyDelete
  18. Three out of four espn commentators pick Syracuse. No surprise.

    ReplyDelete
  19. Jarmond has done some great things for our student athlete across the board. He has elevated exposure for all sports, unified the Ath. Dept.'s message and outreach, and has done fantastic fan engagement. His hire for WBB has so far turned out to be spot on. The man clearly knows how to run a department. Football, hockey, and MBB definitely are the pillars of our sports communtiy, but across the board Jarmond is doing exactly what an AD should.

    ReplyDelete
  20. I have zero excitement for this game. I think I will be doing a lot of channel surfing to the Michigan-Ohio State game. Who really cares whether we go 7-5 or 8-4? It's the difference between the Toilet Bowl and the Kitchen Sink Bowl. 7-Win Steve will play his favorites whether they are the best at their position or not. He will call several third down passes well short of the sticks and he will blow 1-2 critical timeouts in the 3rd quarter. Don't get me wrong, I hope we win. But, I just have a bad taste in my mouth about the Florida State, Purdue and NC State games.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Has that outside run to Dillon on 1st down worked at all this year?

    ReplyDelete
  22. Addazio is killing Dillon this year.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Why do we throw 2 yard passes?

    ReplyDelete
  24. Ha ha ha ha ha ha. 6 years of this.

    ReplyDelete
  25. And 6 years in and he still does not have a kicker. Unbelievable!

    ReplyDelete
  26. A missed fg? I'm shocked

    ReplyDelete
  27. It’s obvious Dillon has no acceleration and can’t change direction. BC line dominated Syracuse on runs between the tackles.....so let’s run Dillon outside multiple times. And of course the kickers suck still.

    ReplyDelete
  28. Perry should be the qb and Levy should get a lot more carries. Dillon is clearly still struggling with his ankle.

    ReplyDelete
  29. The clip of that missed FG from the red zone will be the perfect epitaph of the Daz era. Years from now that will be all you need to see to understand.

    ReplyDelete
  30. The mistake was made putting Baker back at center instead of on the sidelines with a graduate assistant clip board. Petrula made a huge difference at center last year. opening holes for Dillon.

    ReplyDelete
  31. Kicker should be the guaranteed position we succeed in. Barely any kickers make the NFL and the ones that do logjam that position because they play into thier 40s. If I’m a sick high school kicker, why not play college football and get a scholarship at BC over schools like West Virginia and Louisville. Something I’ll never understand.

    ReplyDelete
  32. That's what a real quarterback can do. 30-yard pas gain

    ReplyDelete
  33. That was uglier than a BC kick.

    ReplyDelete
  34. No one there. No one surprised. Poor Seniors. Too much talent to be 7-4

    ReplyDelete
  35. I can't believe he's still putting in an injured Dillon. Coaching malpractice.

    ReplyDelete
  36. He just burned Bailey's red shirt, I think.

    Addazio is awful.

But we scored on a college football play.

    ReplyDelete
  37. Bailey has now been used, by my count that means his red shirt is gone, which means he should be used a lot more today. For the love of god, give AJ’s ankle a break.

    ReplyDelete
  38. Clearly, Syracuse watched the Florida State tape

    ReplyDelete
  39. They watched the FSU tape - duh!

    ReplyDelete
  40. Don Brown come back. Little man Reid gotta go

    ReplyDelete
  41. Sebastian has been picked on all year. The coaches must like his potential. Every team goes after him.

    ReplyDelete
  42. That lead didn’t last long.

    ReplyDelete
  43. How many times has he fumbled on returns while being a complete moron?

    ReplyDelete
  44. That's it. I've had it. Michigan-Ohio St

    ReplyDelete
  45. Ha. The kicker! Gotta love it. So BC.

    ReplyDelete
  46. Clean house. Keep the DB coach

    ReplyDelete
  47. 7-Win Steve! And we complained when O'Brien "only" won 9 games every year. I would take beating Notre Dame every year, getting to 9 wins and winning every bowl game in a heartbeat.

    ReplyDelete
  48. We can always come back against a ranked team with our Belly Series Offense.

Go BC players. Go QB Brown. Shake off the play and call your own audible play, like in the school yard.

You go long, you go short, you go across, you come back.

    ReplyDelete
  49. Ha i love the WR sets when it’s 4 white dudes and Kobay White and Jeff Smith are on the sideline. If that doesn’t say run, then I don’t know what does

    ReplyDelete
  50. This offensive game plan is insane.

It's one thing to lose when you are trying your best to win.

It's another thing to do it the Addazio/Loeffler way.

And our Defense is not looking up to the task.

    Equals - no surprise.

115th in America on 3rd down.

    ReplyDelete
  51. We cannot win with Brown at quarterback.

    ReplyDelete
  52. SAME OLD SAME OLD !!!!!!!!!!!!!! FIRE THE WRETCHED F ______ER.
    THE STENCH IS OVERWHELMING .

PETER CARMICHAEL TO THE RESCUE DO IT FOR BOSTON

    ReplyDelete
  53. Dungey must have a good snap count.

    ReplyDelete
  54. How hard is it for the D-line to watch the ball instead of jumping on the qb audible?

    ReplyDelete
  55. Does Carmichael have any head-coaching experience?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. None and barely any college at all

      Delete
  56. Syracuse O-coord is just light years ahead of BC.

    ReplyDelete
  57. Whelp this game is over.

    ReplyDelete
  58. LBers and interior Dline...weak.

    ReplyDelete
  59. 21 to 7 = zero chance for Addazio to win. ZERO

This could turn into a 42 to 7 type of game.

    This is a disgrace.

Bring on the players who were never given the chance this year.

    ReplyDelete
  60. And it’s over. See ya in Detroit!

    ReplyDelete
  61. Good old 7-6 Dazoshit.will someone please bring the Mouse in from his tailgate party?

    ReplyDelete
  62. Odds on the belly series on first down?

    ReplyDelete
  63. Clean House Mickey Mouse

    ReplyDelete
  64. I’d love Jarmond to fire him and have the TEs coach, coach the bowlgame.

    ReplyDelete
  65. Need to hit Dungey

    ReplyDelete
  66. That would require a AD with leadership ability.

    ReplyDelete
  67. That call was surprising - Dillon up the middle on first down, behind 21 to 7.

    ReplyDelete
  68. We are so bad at blocking on screens. Laughable.

    ReplyDelete
  69. As usual we throw short of the sticks on third down

    ReplyDelete
  70. This comment has been removed by the author.

    ReplyDelete
  71. Worst team in America on 3rd down.

We can't even get it 3 yards short of the marker today, JaneBC.

    Here comes 28 to 7.

    Nice going, Steve Addazio.

    ReplyDelete
  72. The AD was hired by the same people who put up with this Dazzling innefectivr coaching for six years. Don't expect anything yo change. Sports aren't important stuff BC.

    ReplyDelete
  73. We are really sucking today !!!! Team looks like they checked out, no focus and no confidence. Zero progress over the course of this season. And Dillon needs to rest, too painful to watch the abuse of this player.

    ReplyDelete
  74. I take issue with the continued pounding Dillon is getting. We seriously have no other play options? At what point do you put the kid’s long term health ahead of coach job security?

    ReplyDelete
  75. Here’s why I’m optimistic about Jarmond. You don’t ask donors for $150million and convince them to give with mediocrity. You do it with excitement and hope. That’s not happening with Addazio. Similarly, we know Jarmond wants to build his career. Selfishly, he can’t tie his name to Addazio. He’s made two good hires so far, it’s time for a third.

    ReplyDelete
  76. I've been stubbornly with addazio this whole time. He did have a very difficult situation to come into. But the way the season is ending couldnt be more frustrating and if he were to go it would restore excitement

    ReplyDelete
  77. Brock Huard states that BC is 115 in 3rd down conversions. Syracuse is 5.

    ReplyDelete
  78. Has this up tempo helped us this year?

3rd down - here we go.

    ReplyDelete
  79. Uptempo looked great against Miami. But it also had diverse play calling. Running a clearly injured Dillon to 5he corner is never a good game plan

    ReplyDelete
  80. More sweeps. More third and longs. More failed conversions.

    ReplyDelete
  81. Someone said Dillon hasn't been right since the Pinstripe Bowl.

He certainly hasn't been right since Temple.

Unless he has a breakout year next year, Addazio will be proven to have ruined this kid's career.

    ReplyDelete
  82. Meter ,Pete ,Scott CAN't DULL THE PAIN.

IF WE GIVE A DAMN WE"VE GOT TO SEND HIM PACKING .

ASK YOURSELF HOW WOULD ND HANDLE THIS MESS ?

    ReplyDelete
  83. Dillon should not be getting so many carries. But Brown should not be playing period. He is not been good since the Wake game. They cannot win this game with Brown at quarterback.

    ReplyDelete
  84. This is ugly. BC coaches were not ready for this, nor have they inspired their team.

The only thing we can hope for now is a complete shellacking and a firing.

    ReplyDelete
  85. Dino knows he has the Eagles on the ropes. He is completely outcoaching Addazio.

    ReplyDelete
  86. Thanks Dungey - you probably would have scored otherwise.

    ReplyDelete
  87. Dillon up the middle on a handoff from Brown.

    ReplyDelete
  88. We need to at least attempt a deep pass

    ReplyDelete
  89. Like I was saying...

    ReplyDelete
  90. That was a 14 point turn-around. Potentially 28-7 to 21-14.

    ReplyDelete
  91. Harbaugh losing huge to Ohio State.

    ReplyDelete
  92. Great TD - we know we can do it. That's the rub.

Bailey showed how badly Dillon is hobbled.

    ReplyDelete
  93. And leave it to the D to destroy all momentum with shitty pass defense

    ReplyDelete
  94. Dungey looks like Tebow-Lite.

    ReplyDelete
  95. Addazzio better go for a score instead of taking a knee

    ReplyDelete
  96. Look at Addazio's face. He knows he might be toast.

    ReplyDelete
  97. Nice high school-like punt.

    ReplyDelete
  98. Michigan back in it. Don Brown has been as stubborn as a mule. Giving up huge yards over the middle but refuses to change anything.

    ReplyDelete
  99. Syracuse gets the ball in the second half.

They were laughing when they won the toss and elected to defer.

Nice first half, Eagles. Trust in your coaches. They'll bring you to 10 and 2.

Or maybe 7 and 5, with 2 wins against HC and a fired Mark Whipple = 5 and 5 in real games.

But it will be beautiful, Addazio. You the man!

And when this game is over, point out the missed opportunities and miscues by the players.

    We know your act.

In the end, you're just like Spaziani - padding your retirement account as long as you can on BC's dime.

    See you on the Cape.

    ReplyDelete
  100. well that was pretty ugly!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  101. Somehow Ryan freaking Day is running circles around Don Brown.

    ReplyDelete
  102. Dungy is a very good QB - Brown is not.

    ReplyDelete
  103. Raising everyone’s hopes before a crushing defeat.

    ReplyDelete
  104. Amazing what happens when we actually throw the ball downfield

    ReplyDelete
  105. That was pitiful by the referee. Could have gotten Dungey hurt.

    ReplyDelete
  106. Okay boys - the Syracuse defense is not that stout.

28 to 28 would be nice.

    ReplyDelete
  107. I like watching Dungey play. Frustrating to play against, but the dude is big and can move.

    ReplyDelete
  108. I think Jarmond is itching to fire Daz. He had the green light last year and then the team went on a strong run with the emergence of Dillon. This year started off well and Daz looked to be safe again but the FSU loss was a total debacle and today’s performance has not impressed.

That said, I think Daz probably lost his chance for an extension but will likely be granted one more “make or break” year to eclipse the 7 win ceiling that seems to be his highwater mark. Daz has two more years on his contract. Allowing Daz one more year is the safe call that I think we all know BC will make. Buying out the final year (2020) if Daz does not perform will not be a barrier. If he does win next year then get ready for an extension.

    ReplyDelete
  109. We cannot win this game with Brown at quarterback

    ReplyDelete
  110. Syracuse just looks physically tougher than BC.

    ReplyDelete
  111. Reserve DEs in, I think.

    ReplyDelete
  112. We are undersized on the DL. Why hasn't Rayam seen the field?

    ReplyDelete
  113. Denis doesn’t have his name on his jersey. That’s good today.

    ReplyDelete
  114. too many 3rd and 13 type completions this year against BC.Utterly frustrating to watch.

    ReplyDelete
  115. Denis has played himself out of being drafted this year. I don’t know what changed, but he’s been exploited a lot this year.

    ReplyDelete
  116. When you know you can run up the middle for the gain you need anytime, it opens up all of your other options.

BC Defensive Coaches have been out-coached today.

Coupled with our "let's tie one hand behind our back, but show em how tough we are" offense - this is difficult to watch and take.

OK potential 10 and 2 team - let's see how tough you are to come back for that 8th win!!!!!

    Up the middle.

    Addazio is awful.

    ReplyDelete
  117. That 3rd down call was pure shit-a-lation

    ReplyDelete
  118. Brilliant calls on 3rd and 4th down.

    ReplyDelete
  119. So, just saying. We wait 6 games to kill Baileys redshirt. Our #1 guy could have rested, stopped reinjurying ankle, and been healed for FSU and beyond, ? Ok for Clemson game. Waits until Dillon has to practically use a walker on sidelines. #nomoremoneyuntilDazgone

    ReplyDelete
  120. Defensive coaching failure with this up the middle BS by Syracuse/

    ReplyDelete
  121. This is awful to watch.

    Short of the marker anyway.

    ReplyDelete
  122. More passes short of the sticks. And punting the ball back. What a loser.

    ReplyDelete
  123. Addazio and Loeffler need to go.

    ReplyDelete
  124. Everyone from Dazoshit down to the waterboy has the look of defeat on their faces. Am I the only one who will boycott the toilet bowl?

    ReplyDelete
  125. Need to go as in resign.

    ReplyDelete
  126. I’m sure he would’ve gone for it on 4th and 1.

Same issues every week. Which leads to Detroit.

Man, our D tackles need more lead in the butt.

    ReplyDelete
  127. That sequence was pitiful.

    ReplyDelete
  128. FSU just way smarter school-more disciplined

    ReplyDelete
  129. Michigan completely falling apart

    ReplyDelete
  130. Karafa is a 250 pounder bulked up to play the interior.

    ReplyDelete
  131. Good bye, Steve.

But we have a little time left to hand it off and go 3 and out.

    So proud.

    ReplyDelete
  132. 3-game losing streak to end the season. This cannot be considered a successful campaign despite a few glimmers of hope. In a down year for the ACC, this was BC's shot to take it to the next level. The fact that they failed to do so, is clear and convincing evidence that Addazio is not the answer for BC and must be fired now so we can move on with a new coach.

It will take a new coach 1-2 years to bring in tougher, more resilient players who show up week in and week out and are mentally sound. We did not see that this year with this BC squad. The coaches did not help them, but we cannot excuse the performance of the players this season either.

    ReplyDelete
  133. looking forward to a great bowl game and then 7 big wins next year!!!!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  134. But we're going to a bowl 5 out of 6 years.

You the man, Steve. You the man!

And if you have completely ruined AJ Dillon's career, you should be banned from ever coaching again and sued civilly by his Mom.

    ReplyDelete
  135. Michigan and Wash State just wasted their seasons.

    ReplyDelete
  136. These passes are terrible.

    ReplyDelete
  137. The Daz now 38-38 at BC, 18-30 in ACC, 51-49 including his two years at mighty Temple.
    Give than man another extension.

    ReplyDelete
  138. AB’s body language is awful.

And he sucks at the flat route. Always throws it low. He panics when his first read is covered. Huard is right. Their DBs are vulnerable and we’re running three yard crossing routes. Yikes.

    ReplyDelete
  139. We will not win the bowl with Brown at QB either. His mechanics are horrid.

    ReplyDelete
  140. Wake beating up on Duke. So in the end there will be 11 ACC teams bowl eligible, we may not even get an invite anywhere as there aren’t 11 ACC tie ins.

    ReplyDelete
  141. We are bowl-bound! Thanks to UMass, Holy Cross and Temple. Be proud!

    ReplyDelete
  142. Well, it was obvious that Addazio was only going to play his favorites this year; that he would not budge off his run the rock mentality, even though he had the wrong guy at center. And then AJ got hurt, but he didn't care.

His QB has not shown any progress and these passes show that he can't go to any kind of progression.

Our O Line was no where near as good as people thought they should have been.

    On and on.

I hope Syracuse scores again. Addazio deserves it.

But maybe they have some class.

    ReplyDelete
  143. Holy shit. What a meathead!

    ReplyDelete
  144. I can’t get over how similar BC and Michigan’s offenses are and how their playcalling is horribly similar. Both teams refuse to make offensive adjustments and insist on running the ball up the middle down big. Baffling.

    ReplyDelete
  145. I hope Zach Allen didn't get hurt too badly - ankle/foot.

    ReplyDelete
  146. If they fire the coach it likely will be done no later than Monday with an assistant coaching in the bowl game. They need to get the new guy in ASAP for recruiting purposes. You can’t wait and they know that. Either say he’s coming back (which if he is you also have to do to let the world know for recruiting purposes) or say you’re moving on. If it were anywhere else I would say the coach is gone but for BC it’s probably 50-50 he will return.

    ReplyDelete
  147. I can't remember when Brown last made a completion throwing to the sideline. He can't do it.
Should only be throwing vertically or running - or on the bench.

    ReplyDelete
  148. TESTIMONY TO DAZZO-SHIT's UTTER STUPIDITY

TYLER MURPHY great running qb passing problems . Did DAZZO-SHIT bother to seek
DOUG FLUTIE's help NO !!!!!! No !!!!!! NO!!!!!!
BROWN's PROBLEMS seek MATT RYAN's help NO NO NO !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

WE ARE dealing with an IMBECILE.

    ReplyDelete
  149. I said a month ago BC might lose their last four games. Pretty damn close.

    ReplyDelete
  150. 5th time they jumped. 4th and 11. You can't make it up. Ray Smith, WTF

As far as I'm concerned, Addazio can go tonight.

Fall will never be enjoyable for a football fan with him at the helm.

    ReplyDelete
  151. Four senior offensive linemen and three senior defensive linemen, that could factor in. Change now and bring in your own recruiting style.

    ReplyDelete
  152. Bring in Perry or McDonald and let them play.

    ReplyDelete
  153. Can't believe he's sticking with Brown. What an AH.

    ReplyDelete
  154. Wow. Just an awful passer to the flat. OC shouldn’t scheme that. Moron.

    ReplyDelete
  155. Daz has that look:”I am done”

    ReplyDelete
  156. Thanks for giving some other deserving kids a chance to play for the last couple of minutes, Coach. You the man!

It's an honor to play for you.

Congratulations to Syracuse for turning their season around from last year. 4 and 8 to 9 and 3.

    ReplyDelete
  157. If Addazio isn't fired, he has to clean house.

Loeffler is #1 to go, and probably Reid needs to retire.

Bring in some young coaches with imagination and who can recruit.

    ReplyDelete
  158. Did mouse ever appear at the game?

    ReplyDelete
  159. It's my own fault, but I let Addazio bring out a lot of negative energy this fall.

It's not going to happen next year.

    ReplyDelete

  161. Good to see mouse cheering and tailgating.

    Not!

  162. Our top recruit decommitted and is going to OSU to play for a horrible human being.

Our other top recruit is yet another RB.

We collect RBs like we do TEs. But we only run one guy.

The problem is at QB. This is a system designed to help the QB, what with Dillon and all those TEs and some speed outside to get it deep.

We were told this about Daz from Florida fans, where he took the best athletes in college football and damn near made them wear leather helmets without face masks.

Thought Daz was done after butchering the FSU game. He has now pulverized the season.

  163. I’m proud of Coach Addazio. This is the best result for the Atlantic Coast Conference. I’m so glad he stuck with players he likes through thick and thin, and didn’t give in to calls to change the center or challenge the QB.
Nobody really knows what it’s like to be demoted from your position in college football. Trust me, it’s an awful experience. An extra win or two pale in comparison to the intense pain of the demotion.
Look, BC is bowl-eligible. They protected Clemson, NC State and Syracuse while giving them useful reps. They gave FSU a shot to save their season and salvage a bowl bid.
Coach Addazio also taught the players life lessons that will serve them throughout their careers. Telling the boss what he wants to hear. Undertaking each and every action with the goal of protecting the boss. Understanding your organization’s place in the hierarchy. Like New Mexico State doesn’t try to be Oklahoma, and Moxie Soda doesn’t try to be Coke, so too Coach Addazio doesn’t try to make BC into a Notre Dame or a Stanford.
Everybody in college football likes Coach Addazio. Why? Because he makes sure that his program STAYS IN ITS LANE. As an opponent, you can rely on Coach Addazio. He’s committed to the greater good in college football.
    Extend him.

  164. It seems BC fans and Michigan fans feeling similarly butt hurt this afternoon....lots of talent, high expectations, pre-season hopes for a conference title, clown head coach, all asking “if not now, then when?”

Despite our frustrations, not likely he gets fired this year, guys. That would be an uncharacteristically aggressive move. Be prepared he stays on for 2019 with chance to coach healthy Dillon and get QB situation figured out. #EverToGet7Wins

  165. Oh, I like Big Jack’s idea to clear out the coordinators. Blame should rest with fans first, then families, then players, then coordinators. A good man like Coach Addazio needs to be kept pristine.

  167. You'd think Addazio and his staff would have thrown out all the stops at the start of the second half to win this game. Their jobs are all at stake - yet they did all the same stupid things. They all deserve to lose their jobs. Remarkable.

  168. Coach Addazio is 7-0 when Dillon and AB are both healthy.

  169. Please, please get rid of this HC. Thanks for bringing us back from the Spaz debacle Daz, but it is time to move on.

You are grossly overpaid for mediocrity.

Daz is BC's version of Chuck Amato.

  170. Can always count on OC.

  171. Question for everyone - Has there been any point in the Daz era that you thought he’d be more
canned than this? I don’t think so. Just want validity

  172. There has to be a change. Seveb wins is clearly his ceiling (and I don't care what he does three weeks from now in a meaningless exhibition game in Detroit).

  173. Let me make a positive suggestion for another cliche in the rotation: "The buck stops here."

  174. 4th in ACC Atlantic.

    4-4.

Daz has never had a winning ACC record.

  175. The Oc, The HC and The QB are seriously lacking in what BC should expect and have representing the university. I don't mean to insult the QB, but it is obvious that his ability just isn't there. The HC is a fraud and needs to go now. Even out vaunted defense looked pretty bad today. I hope that the Trustees back Jarmond and let him do it right, right now.

  176. Read coach’s post game comments. He is absolutely delusional.

    ReplyDelete
  177. Agreed Eddie. It was all about injuries for Daz. Not about poor coaching.

Daz is selling noise about next year - like he is coming back It’s all about the young kids says Daz

Daz is clearkybin survival mode. Acting like he was in the ACC Atlantic division championship two weeks ago and had to play almost a entire season without the best player in the country at full speed.

He talks about how he is taking BC to the next level. When BC avg wins for last 38 years is 6.5 or 6.6 wins and he is at 7 going for 8

  178. @ObserverCollege: Coach Babers of Syracuse has a daughter who married one of his linemen and is living in his basement. Since you are living in the basement domain of the Dazzler, just what are your intentions toward his daughter?

  179. Another shit season from Daz. We beat a bunch of nobodies this season. No quality wins. Addazio has a ceiling of a 7 win season. I think we can do a whole lot better than keeping this clown and his staff on the sidelines. Will go to another crap bowl....yippee.

  180. I have never coached football, let alone major college football.

But if you have me the job right now as offensive coordinator, You could count on me to produce a worthy playbook and game plan.

So tired of watching this crap, whoever is at fault.

    Up the middle? How about

    Up the giggy?

  182. From Atlanta's post "Senior Day and the final game of the regular season. Let's end on a high note."

Anybody else get the sense here that we didn't exactly end on a high note? Needing perhaps to get high though.

  183. @JBQ: I need to check with my parole officer after having submitted my request before Thanksgiving. Just because I have in-person expertise about college football and cheerleading team recruiting does not mean I should have to clear with the government all conversations and gatherings that I enjoy with said potential players and cheerleaders.
