Nick in Boston writes: Heather, what do you think about the BC quarterback situation at Boston College. Chris Crane clearly cannot get the job done. Think we might see redshirt freshman Dominique Davis sooner than expected?
Heather Dinich: I think it's a little too early to jump off the Crane Train, and the staff does, too. However, if things are going well in the UCF game on Sept. 20, don't be surprised to see Davis in for a series or two.
Now the Davis mention makes we believe we will see him regardless of how Crane starts. And if the game is in doubt and Crane plays poorly again, Davis will get a shot. The dilemma is: what do you do if Davis can't hack it either?
Future foes Maryland and Notre Dame get harsh treatment after their respective games this past weekend.
BC is facing another curve ball in its campus expansion plans.

Why would you quote HD like she knows anything about BC football? Yes, he does not play well and they have some thought that Davis might be an improvement they will make a change. Yes the sun will come up tomorrow and politicians will talk about change.
Don't worry about the "Allston-Brighton Task Force." It's a lunatic fringe group comprised of less than 20 people who hate BC and oppose anything that BC wants to do. The vast majority of Brighton residents support the IMP.
If Davis can't hack it either, you wait til next year and spend a lot of time training Justin Tuggle.
Billy Flutie should start. If only for the novelty of it.
