A record 236 players have entered the NBA Draft. Two of them -- Jerome Robinson and Ky Bowman -- hold BC's season in their hands. The good news remains that neither hired an agent and the super crowded field means it will be that much harder for the two to standout at the NBA Draft Combine. If neither feel confident about their stock, they can both return to BC towards the end of May.
The bad news is that most still see Robinson as a first rounder and Bowman as a likely second. If those ratings hold coming out of the Combine, I believe Robinson will hire an agent and Bowman will return.

GO BC Make "The ECHOES RING AGAIN"
There is an NBA minor league developing through the European circuit. The star guard for Gonzaga of last year (Porter-Goss) was drafted by the Jazz and he then worked out a deal to play in Europe for three years. He is making some decent money and the Jazz will be watching his progress.---The G League for the NBA is basically useless. The real talent is being developed overseas. The BC stars could end up going that same route with a very good agent.
Looks like BC might not be a top 25 team next year after all.
Does it look like that after all?
Another year of mediocrity from a mediocre school.
Yeaster, I agree. The place is great and I know we're being demanding, but we want to excel!
I see that they just gave Christian a 2 year extension. It would have been nice to see what he could do next year with a decent team. But if he loses Robinson and Bowman - we may not be too far ahead of where we were a couple years ago. Ironically, that eventuality (largely out of Christian's control) may be better for his longevity at BC than if everyone stayed and we had a disappointing season.
Bad move extending Christian.
The ESPN story just said Robinson was a potential first-rounder. The only mock draft I've seen that has him going in the first round is the one at SI. We'll have a better idea about what happens coming out of the pre-draft invitationals.
Bowman and Robinson are so good together. Would be great to finish what they started with one more year. If they stay top 25 is very realistic and even those outside BC circles expect us to make NCAA tournament.
Keep keeping tabs on the mediocre Eagles.
