I was really worried about the Maryland game, and said so. It turned out to be just like the Syracuse game a few years ago - except we can now put more points on the board.

We couldn't stop Syracuse and we couldn't stop a depleted Maryland. Why? It's easy to figure out Coach Spaz. We are familiar with this discussion.

What about Clemson? Well, will Dunbar and Pruitt be available? If so, at what level - 80%, 90%, etc.?

There is no question that we will not be able to stop Clemson - and there is no question that their front four will be all over Ryan without blitzing.

Take the glass half empty approach and you won't be too disappointed. On paper, after the performance of the last 3 weeks - with plenty of film for opposing coaches to study - we have no chance - unless we win 56 to 49.

And don't forget that we have squeezed by Clemson 2 years in a row. They have been pointing to THIS GAME for a long time - even before the season started. If you read the SC newspapers, Clemson fully expects to win this game and go to Jacksonville.

We'll see how tough our guys really are.

Me? I'm on vacation on Hilton Head Island - and my decision not to cut my vacation short and travel to Clemson looks very good right now.

I have no clue how BC will react - but Spaziani doesn't seem to have any answers. Perhaps we should be thankful for the season so far, because our weaknesses have now been exposed to the point that they far exceed our strengths.

Best of luck at Clemson - Go BC.

I'm also puzzled about why the backups haven't played more - It doesn't make sense for Rossi, Scafe, Allan Smith to sit on the bench. What's up with Giles? Why haven't Rollins and Gause filled in more when the starters are struggling?

Jarvis and Megwa continue to break my heart. Oh well - it's college football. Catching a football is basic for a D-1 wide receiver - when you get a perfect pass in the end zone, Mr. Jarvis, you have to bring it in and hold it!!!

I don't know how we win this game. I'm heartbroken. We have become "Hawaii East" with a tougher schedule. Gunslinging Heisman hopeful QB, defense that lets JV teams pick us apart.
