Fletcher spotlight and other links

The papers displayed one of my biggest pet peeves about BC coverage today: features on the same player. In this case we learn more about Donnie Fletcher (Globe and Herald). Fletcher has been very good in run support and has not been truly tested in pass coverage.

Future Eagle Jim Noel also got some local press.

NFL.com had a great breakdown of Ryan's first pass. (Thanks to Charlie for the link.)

Gos is hoping to make his NFL debut this weekend.

In other BC/NFL news, Kiwi is nursing an ankle injury.

The UCF game might come down to the line play.

Just what "quarterback that makes good decisions" were they talking about in that UCF article?

No kidding, dixi. "The Knights have capitalized on their bye week, taking an early look at Boston College." That coach must still be looking at 2007 film.

Alternatively, maybe Crane makes good decisions that we're not aware of, e.g., annually replacing the batteries in his smoke detectors.

Dunbar might play this weekend to with injuries to the Saints defense. 3 starters out. He's still on the big league roster after being signed off the practice squad last week...

Yeah, eagle1; the first thought I had was "that coach is either drunk or looking at film of Ryan."
