Why was this game played in Cleveland? It seemed rather embarrassing and silly to play in front of what seemed a lot less than the announced 10,000 folks who showed up.
It's a good question for Gene Defilippo. We left the Big East - now we're playing as though it were against Temple in Philadelphia. I'm sure our top-notch freshmen were asking themselves what kind of deal this was.
Congratulations to the coaches and especially the players for a well played game in front of a hugely disappointing turnnout.
