Monday link roundup

Davis passed his first test and will get more snaps this week. It looks like he will see action in the remainder of the games. Jags is saying it is about next year, but let's be honest. It is also a hedge on this season in case of Crane coming apart.

UCF hit the road pretty quickly after the game, which angered some media. Fortunately their fans were treated well.

BC target Kyle Koehne is still waiting on a Florida offer.

Remember when people questioned Ryan's arm strength? I think his bomb to Roddy White showed that he can air it out.

Cherilus earned his first NFL start Sunday.

Jamie Silva saw his first real NFL action Sunday.

Marquez Haynes hopes to make an impact at Texas-Arlington this season. (Thanks to Sujit for the link.)

Former BC QB Willie Hicks is still in the area, although he looks back on his time at the Heights with a tinge of regret that he passed on the opportunity to play for Coughlin.

Jeff Smith's younger brother had a big weekend for Silver Lake.

Eagles in Canada are doing well. Challenger is getting more playing time. He had a big cheering section in his return to Montreal. Challenger's former teammate Quinton Porter is getting a chance to start in Hamilton.
