Boisture exlains and other links

Boisture told the Detroit media he really liked BC but the distance and his connection to Michigan State made him change his mind. Blaudschun had some of the same news.

BC didn't waste any time to target another QB recruit.

CFN released their season preview of BC.

Tyrese Rice did not get drafted last night. I'll have more on his next steps this weekend.

I guess the "cool demeanor" killed Rice's chances - who knows? He probably would have been drafted after his junior year - maybe anyway.

Thanks for the memories, Tyrese - and good luck in your future.

Too many negatives kept him from being drafted. Hopefully he signs on somewhere but he's destined for Europe.

I think the moral of the Boisture story is this: New England high school football needs to get a lot better.

I hope Tyrese likes beer and weed. Europe is good at those things.

Beats the NBDL.

Given his tendency to get suspended I have a feeling he isn't opposed to either.

Pissed me off that Toney Douglas get drafted ahead of Tyrese. I really don't think he was a better college player and I don't think he has any better pro potential.

tyrese apparently is going to play for a wizards summer league team in vegas this summer.

Future Eagles' centerman Chris Kreider went to the Rangers (boo) in the first round. Congratulations Chris! Now let's get that National Championship trophy back.

that's not really fair, claver. Tyrese was never suspended or disciplined for anything related to illegal substances. You speculating isn't fair to him

Tyrese is a horrible leader and a mediocre player. He takes bogus 30-foot 3-pointers in stride and hits them pretty regularly, but when he has a hand in his face, he doesn't make them. Furthermore, his ball-handling skills are absolutely awful. He was able to put up big numbers when teams didn't pay attention to him, but when teams focused on him, Tyrese was unable to generate points. A very inconsistent player with no handle who is NOT a leader (and this is at the college level)...he has no chance in the NBA.
I am a huge BC fan, by the way. So, don't think I'm trying to knock BC. I am an alumnus and so is my father. I just think it is a good thing that Rice is gone and the team is much better off without him.

#1 NYC -- good comments, but be prepared to be pecked to death by some of the hens on this board, particularly _______.

#2 What's going on with Chris Crane??..he seems to be still (barely) hanging on with the colts..

He is an excerpt from a Fox Sports story in NFL QBs.. humorous comment on Crane.

The Colts should move to L.A., as they'd be the perfect dweller in such a major city built on a series of earthquake-prone faults. Hey, they've got Peyton Manning, so they should have one of football's top two QB groups, right? Well heaven forbid, what will happen to the team if Manning ever DOES get injured? With all due apologies, Jim Sorgi, Curtis Painter and Chris Crane (who???) would not cause any defensive coordinators one less wink at night. Maybe the gambling Colts should move to Las Vegas instead.

Haha, really? The Colts are thinking of putting Crane on the practice squad (read between the lines and that's the gist of the story)? That's kind of ridiculous. I mean, of course I'm going to root for the guy and I wish him the best. He does have some talent, but his true future - if he has a future - is probably at tight end. Oh well. Good luck Chris!

NYC-

Don't you think teams were focusing on Rice throughout his junior year. Rice was by far the best player on the team and he still dropped 21 a game. Sure he may have taken a step back his senior season but lets not forget what he accomplished at BC.

Also I don't think his ball-handling was ever an issue, rather, his decision-making hurt him at times.
