2010 basketball recruit Danny Lawhorn decommitted -- get this -- via facebook. Given the basketball staff's track record, I am sure they will fill the void appropriately.

I believe they are suing the City not the school.
"Brighton residents sued the City of Boston this week, seeking to halt Boston College’s plan to build ball fields and a dorm on the site of the former headquarters of the Catholic Archdiocese of Boston.
The suit was filed in Suffolk Superior Court by two homeowners, including the realtor brother of Secretary of State William F. Galvin. It accused the city of rubberstamping the school’s $1 billion expansion plan without studying the traffic, "

Here's an idea: Don't live near a flippin' university that was built long before your home unless you want to accept the fact that buildings will be constructed, dorms built and athletic fields developed. If anything, the campus will be improved and look even better.
The last suit took 10 years and BC finally won. Unfortunately, construction prices increased significantly while BC fought the frivolous lawsuit. These people that file these suits are the classic definition of "Mass-holes."
