One step closer...

BU loves the Beanpot, but BC is at its best at the Garden when the Hockey East title is on the line. Tonight, BC beat Vermont to advance to the Finals against Maine. BC is in the NCAAs regardless of Saturday's outcome, but it would be nice to go into the tourney hot and with a high seed. Let's hope Muse keeps up the solid play as we will need him to play well against Maine.

Hats off to the two sections of BC students who showed up and made a lot of noise last night. Let's see (and hear) some more of that tonight, too.

It seemed like half the population of Maine showed up at the Garden last night. It looked like more of them were at our game than BC and Vermont fans combined. Hopefully the Superfans make another good showing

Krieder, Smith, Hayes and Muse. HOT EAGLES ON ICE...Tonight we freeze Maine and win Hockey East. Every line on this Eagle team is Cold Danger. Can't wait to watch it. (It's on NESNHD out here in the West on DirectTV.) Go Eagles!

...Did anyone watch St. Mary's Gaels rock 'Nova today? Maybe we need to recruit a couple of Hoop players from Down Under at that Jesuit high school in Australia. They sure had high b-ball IQ's goin'on. And another Big Least team bites the dust...

So according to the radio announcers, "It's on like Donkey Kong in Chestnut Hill"

Then followed that gem with "I don't know but I think Lombardi might be the mvp". (was not being sarcastic)

Wtf??
