Nice weekend at the Hayes house and other links

Soon to be Eagle (hopefully) Kevin Hayes was selected by the Chicago Blackhawks in the first round of the 2010 NHL Draft. Everyone is assuming Hayes will come to BC, but Chicago also acquired his brother, current Eagle, Jimmy in a trade. Would they have done that if they weren't going to press him to skip BC and go straight to pro hockey?

Jo-Lonn Dunbar was back in Upstate New York to host a football camp and talk about the NFL.

Here are some of the upcoming storylines for the 2010-11 basketball season.

Spaz strikes again!

New recruit Nick Lifka

Wonder if Spaz wants him as an LB or an FB? Fine with him being our next LB with a weird name. He had an LSU offer on the table so nice to see that we beat them out.

LSU friend told me about that today. He was like, "what the hell happened there?" Gotta relish that. Read that he started varsity as a sophomore. Can't believe he'd commit to being a FB when his ILB skills are so highly coveted.

Yea I agree he's better suited as an LB but was thinking we'll be a little light at FB next year when McCluskey and Boek our "backup FB" leave so he might see action a little sooner with some FB work.

First and Lifka anyone?
