Radio interviews with AC and Herzy and other links

On this page you can hear interviews with Castonzo and Herzlich with an Atlanta radio station at the ACC Media Kickoff.

Here are the results of most of the preseason awards and predictions.

Athlon ranks BC 34th overall.

Brian St. Pierre is back at his high school working out and hoping for another shot at the NFL.

Hopefully Sean Duggan will be the next St. X star from Ohio to come to BC.

While Herzy hit the links in Greensboro, Castonzo worked on his thesis. The Chick-Fil-A Bowl will consider BC if we commit to a certain level of ticket sales. I never thought BC would get in the Chick Fil A Bowl until BCMike told me he was getting married that night. His jinx will ensure that BC is playing in its biggest bowl in decades in Mike's own backyard on the one night he cannot get to the game.

If BCMike's fiance really loved him, she'd get married on the 50 yard line during halftime. It would save you money on a band..

Women love dream weddings more than they love the actual groomm

I mean I just really want to know about the new uniforms

Whenever media day is, that is the latest until we know. You'd think they'd have done something by now.

So, what are we really looking at for RB depth. Finch is officially out?

Harris and then...?
Sterlin Phifer next?
Little Engine Mike Javorski?

I know nothing about who would be ahead between Andre Williams, Andre Lawrence, and Tahj Kimble.

Certainly that's a decent amount of bodies. I'd love to see us get 3 guys in on a regular basis instead of all Harris all the time. What does everyone think?

There's a decent chance that this will happen. Additionally, it should also be pointed out that our honeymoon goes from Jan 3rd-Jan 9th, also opening the door for other BCS games (to be missed).

haha! I think they love weddings more as well. BCMike, thanks for taking one for the team.

Erik,

Don't forget McCluskey is back. When healthy, he is a short yardage wrecking ball.

Sean Duggan seems like the real deal: really hoping the kid comes around to BC. Would be a beast alongside Pierre-Louis and Kuechly.

Yea Duggan looks legit. If we land him they're gonna have to add "Linebacker U" to our list of titles.

Boston Herald is claiming Finch is out for the season with a knee injury. Javorski was supposedly super quick in the spring game, but I am excited to see if Tahj Kimble get some action. Watching some clips of him, he seems like a tough guy - not super fast, but elusive and gets yards. The ESPN clips of him stink, check out other youtube videos.

I like the LB's we're targeting. Now we need to start getting some havoc-creating DT's as well. I want another Raji plugging up the middle.

I was at the Spring Game and one of the practices and both times I came away impressed with Javorski. He looks like a guy thats fed off the "you're not big enough" comments for years and has turned that into a flat out ferocious attitude. He will fight tooth and nail for every yard. He seems like the type you'd rather have on the field and lose with than some who are stars but might disgrace the BC name.

I think of bigger concern than Finch in that Herald article is where it says Scafe is having/ had back surgery and Ramsey is "deciding whether to return to the program". WTF?????

Galvin said...

Crap I don't know how I missed that. Hopefully it's minor surgery and Ramsey mans up. We need you big guy!

Anybody know the current DL/DE depth chart??

Losing Scafe and Ramsey ain't horrible. Both were decent against the run, but not too good with the pass rush.

BC Lova,

They had mock ups at the spring game and they look the same. Maybe different stripes on the pants. But they showed a new gold jersey.
